Very friendly staff and clean location. Huge parking lot, plenty of room for sedans and trucks.

This Safeway is a pretty big supermarket. Seems to have it all. Large wine/ beer selection. Very clean, even the bathroom is clean! Lots of parking. A lot of self-checkout registers.

The pharmacy staff was awesome in getting mine and my son’s antibiotics filled and ready to go within just a couple of hours after the snafu that CVS caused. They were super friendly and very helpful and I will continue using Safeway pharmacy from now on!! ❤

Great produce and butcher department. Now has Boar's Head at the deli counter. Decent selection of groceries. A good all around store.

My ‘go-to’ place for everything groceries and pharmacy!! I love this grocery store, always have great deals and the selection is great too. The employees are always courteous and helpful. I love the rewards card, helps with my savings and I even get to use points towards my gas for fueling up my truck. And let’s be honest, in this expensive world we live in nowadays, saving every penny helps! Thank you Safeway for being the outstanding grocery store that you are!!

Wedding cake extraordinaire! We lost the wedding cake maker for our daughters wedding a week out and were told Safeways is the perfect blend. It certainly was...great texture and taste! They were so helpful. (Wish I could post pictures.) Thank you Safeway

The staff there is great. They can be pricey, but they have some great sales if you have a club card and the rewards you get back when you have a club card are awesome! Their deli and bakery are great! Their sushi is always fresh and delicious. The fresh bagels and their big cookies are also really good!

Although this is an older looking Safeway, it has all the things you would need and expect at a Safeway. This is a decently sized one with a self checkout and a regular checkout.

Very nice store, I hear they are getting new tables and chairs for eating area soon as well...

I LOVE this Safeway. They have this checker there; she's the hottest girl I've seen in my LIFE. I think she's into me. Not just the friendly smile, but that LOOK that says "Ask me for my number". I'm in love, I swear to God. Definitely coming back.

I like the friendly employees. And the great sales. They say lower prices, but you save more money when u purchase weekly sales items. Remember the first Thursday of every month is Senior Day and you save 10% off your bill.

It's a Safeway store, get their rewards card or pay a premium for anything in store.

Great selection of flowers. I also really enjoy their produce section and the many vegan/plant based options offered throughout the store. Always clean as well, and very friendly staff.

I liked the Starbucks in here most of all! Was surprised at how well the flow is in the building. Sort of surprising given the arrangement, but it's easy to find things and for some odd reason doesn't feel as congested as other grocery stores I've been in. The checkers were exceptionally busy, however they got all of us through very quickly, thus, giving an excellent experience!

Pharmacy staff were awesome, VERY helpful, patient. Had multiple prescriptions and a bit complicated and some transfers from out-of-state. They walked us through it all, figured out insurance constraints and explained each item. Thank you!

This is my favorite grocery store in Helena! It's always nice and clean and has great quality produce, meat, bakery, and dairy at a decent price. My biggest complaint is they are always out of something on my list - usually an item that's on sale, particularly the meat or dairy items. Make sure to use their app - it saves a lot of $$!

I visited Safeway to pick up some supplies for my adventure bicycling the GDMBR and saw the wonderful sushi being made. I did not get the names of the two guys making the sushi but they were wonderful. They stopped and completed one of what they were making just for me.. Wow.. Now that's customer SERVICE!!! THANK YOU#

Extremely friendly and comfortable environment to grocery shop. However, most items more pricey than other places. If you value your sanity over saving a buck or two, it's worth shopping here over places like Walmart.
They also have an excellent Chinese food deli.
