Fisherman's Korner Restaurant

My wife, a friend and I were in Garibaldi. This place was open for lunch. The restaurant was fairly funky inside, albeit clean. The restaurant had a mixture of tables, booths and a long counter with backless stools. We chose a booth.
The efficient waitress immediately showed up and we ordered. We had a shrimp salad, a burger, and a clam strip basket. According to my informants, the shrimp salad was very flavorful and the burger was the best tasting they had had in years. My clam strips had excellent flavor, however, about 40% were tough and hard to bite through while 60% were tender. The basket came with the best French Fries I've had in 2023 - very crispy on the outside, hot and soft on the inside. The basket came with an acceptable tartar sauce and some creamy coleslaw. The total bill was $47 and change. Even with a 20% tip, that came out to less than 20 dollars per person, which is normal in these post covid times. Based on our experience I can totally recommend this place.

Best grilled salmon ever♥ Have never been disappointed here & we’ve eaten here many times over the past 10 summers. Plenty of parking & outdoor seating available. Prompt & friendly service. Highly recommend

The food was fresh! I had a salad with the tastiest ranch I’ve ever had. The shrimp and fish were super juicy, even if fried. Clean, Cozy little dinner with friendly staff and an amazing cook.

Came in with the family for lunch and had some of the best seafood i’ve ever had. I really enjoyed the nostalgic feel and warm cozy space. It may not be a “modern” style spot but the food speaks for itself. The two women running the front were working super hard to make sure everyone was taken care of and they did an incredible job. Kudos to this little gem. Keep doing what you’re doing 😁

Large portions of food. Very tasty and not greasy. The staff were very busy but did their best to get us seated and served. The clam chowder was very good, as were the fish and chips.

It truly has the best fish and chips. Love it. The clam chowder is good.

There were 8 of us and the place was fairly busy, they seated us right away, and service was quick. They all worked as a team and delivered excellent food. We had Halibut and prawns and chowder! The 2 non fish eaters had burgers that were also very good! Definitely a great stop. Best halibut around!!

This place is obviously understaffed, but the service was quick and pleasant. The food is delicious. I recommend the halibut and chips and the clam chowder. Both were excellent.

The bathrooms were clean. Seating capacity in the restaurant is probably around 30; we had to wait a few minutes outside (COVID protocol).

FYI; if you're pulling a trailer then parking is limited near the restaurant. I recommend parking on the gravel lot behind the public library and walking the short distance to the restaurant.

Patty melt ordered and a super tasty fresh made patty melt we got! -- old fashioned family dinner atmosphe. We had food to go but, almost wished we had stayed!

Always the place we go to when in Garibaldi. Everything we've eaten was excellent. There is a long bar and table & chairs. It's not a big place. 1 small group of 8 ok.

5 stars all across the board. This place was one of my first stops moving up here from California and eating here is definitely a core memory now. The food, the vibe and the service was great.

Fish and chips are great. Fresh and delicious. We tried both halibut and cod. Perfectly cooked and perfect amount of breading. Even fries tasted good. Not greasy and not burned. Service is fast. Bathrooms are clean. Outside seating is comfortable. What else to ask for.

Super good cod and chips!! But better yet, food with a view of the bay, the sounds of seagulls and the smell of the ocean. It’s a whole experience!!

We camped at the harbor inn rv park and walked over to Fisherman’s Korner. Fast service, great selection of fish, and more food than you can eat. There’s a reason they’re voted best fish and chips!

Great Food! Chowder and Fish & Chips was top notch. The tartar sauce was creamy and delicious. Extremely fast service. Would highly recommend sticking with the classic meals. I don't recommend any of the seafood sandwiches (Crab and Shrimp Sandwich).

Best clam chowder of my trip to the coast. Fish was excellently fried and the sauce was perfect. And the price was reasonable, too. Cute inside, not much of a view, but has counter seating or picnic tables. Great on a budget.

You've heard the saying don't judge a book by it cover, well that's definitely true here! All I can say is the food was amazing and the service was amazing too! We had the halibut, prawns clam and fries. So good! They make their tartar sauce in house and it reminded me of grandmas! I highly recommend this place!!!!

One of the best restaurants on the northrn coast of Oregon. Great prices and I love the location.
