W.I.S.E Academy

We are fairly new to W.I.S.E. Academy but must give recognition where it is due. Our 2.5-year-old son was seen today by his pediatrician for a 30-month checkup. She was flabbergasted by how advanced he is for his age. She was able to recognize both we as parents work with him and that he does not attend a traditional daycare (not downplaying or criticizing traditional daycare centers) but an academy/school. The pediatrician was also impressed with him having homework and inquired of where he attends.

We have been pleased with the transition thus far. I feel comfortable and worry less while he is in their care. He loves going and is always eager to walk through the door. He no longer holds on to my hand as if he doesn’t want to enter (like he did with the previous center he attended for two weeks). We kept searching for the right fit for our child until I came across W.I.SE. Academy. Initially, I was advised there was a wait list for his age group and now I see why. I kept contacting the director until she heard the desperation in my voice and scheduled a tour. Our son was able to attend a week later. I appreciate the low child to teacher ratio. This was the best decision we made for our child learning, development, and advancement. He was potty trained in one week. They suggested not to put him in pull-ups at home and he caught on quickly, their method worked. I love the fact they have parent teacher conferences. I have nothing but great things to say to the entire team at W.I.S.E. Academy. Lastly, the aroma coming from the kitchen out the front door smelled very good. Smelled so good I could’ve had lunch with the kiddos today, laugh out loud. Thank you for all that you do.

Me and my 3yr old just LOVE 💜💜 it here!!! My daughter has been coming here for almost 2 years and hates when and if she misses a day (for doctors appointments and things of that nature). She RUNS 🏃🏾‍♀ not walks to school when we get there. The director, Mrs. Holmes, is so involved with everything, is so easy to communicate with, and is super understanding 🫶🏾. In fact she is so involved she has her own class that she teaches (superwoman 🦸🏾‍♀). As for the other teachers they are awesome, every last one of them. They would sometimes send me pictures throughout the day of the wonderful times they were having with my daughter. 🥹 I can feel the LOVE that they have for my daughter, and I know she loves them to, I can’t stop hearing about her current teacher, Ms. Branch, 🥰 (“Ms. Branch showed me colors and numbers, Ms. Branch said my hair pretty, and Ms. Branch gave me homework”) and how much fun she had learning and playing at school. Not only is she having fun with learning but I can see how much she has learned since she’s been there. It shows when we go anywhere outside of school. Bottom line is if you are considering this school definitely go for it you would definitely not be disappointed !!

W.i.s.e Academy is the BEST SCHOOL my child has attended ‼ Yes, I said school cause it’s WAY BETTER THAN A DAY CARE!!! The staff is absolutely amazing‼ I can’t make this up! My daughter was almost 2⃣ years old. When she started at W.i.s.e Academy , that was the second day care she has attended! The 1st one didn’t go so well ;she cried EVERY DAY …LITERALLY , But that’s another story lol 😂…But Oh honey how the roles has changed 😂 now she cries when it’s time to come home😂🤦🏽‍♀‼ She’s learned so much in a short amount of time! Remember she was ALMOST 2⃣ when she started, she’s now 2yrs & 5 months. She knows all her colors,shapes & etc!! She’ll be reading soon you mark my word! 🤭 Oh did I mention she wasn’t NOWHERE NEAR potty trained when she started, honey least then TWO WEEKS OF HER STARTING they had her out of pull-ups & into underwear 🩲! She now sleeps in her underwear and haven’t had a pull-up on since! I can write a book about W.I.S.E ACADEMY AND THEIR STAFF! They’re Amazing 🤩 I just wanted to leave a review and let the world 🌎 know how amazing you guys are‼ Thank Y’all for EVERYTHING!

My daughter went here for maybe a little over a year. She was 2 at the time. Due to an unfortunate situation, we had to move back to my hometown. BUT, if I could pack this school along w/ the teachers up with me, I definitely would've brought them here. 😭 My daughter Kharí loved it here, I loved her being there. Teachers keep you up to date, actually cared for the kids, and always made sure to keep the parents informed. I miss this daycare so much.

Wise Academy has been such a blessing for me & my children. My 2 & 3 yr old have been attending since June/July & since they have started going here they have really BLOSSOMED! My 3 yr old comes home everyday talking about his teachers (even the ones in other classrooms) & the activities they do. My kids are always excited to go to school even on days they wake up on the wrong side of the bed as soon as they see their teachers they get happy & excited. There is always educational music playing upon entering in the mornings which is a great way to start the day! My 3 yr old loves to do his homework & learning through the ignite app & shows that he really is learning his alphabet, sounds, writing etc. Anytime Im concerned or need advise on how to help his teachers give me great ideas on how I can help at home. & my heart literally melts because I’ve been catching both of my kids singing little songs while they wash their hands, or saying grace at dinner, and even a prayer before bed! There is great communication with all the staff and you can tell that they all love what they do and are dedicated to teaching & loving the children. The facility is also very clean with sanitation machines & routine cleaning is done. Thank you to all the staff, you are all very patient and loving and are very much appreciated

So to start off, my son Alexander is 3 going on 4. This is his first time in daycare and he just completed his second week here. Now knowing that my son could be a handful, they’ve successfully potty trained him within A WEEK and that’s so amazing, I didn’t know where to even begin on my own. They’re so patient and communicate very well and I LOVE THAT. Mrs. Holmes and her staff (still learning everyones names but will!) have a heart of gold and I’m truly grateful we were introduced to this Academy! Definitely recommend for new parents that are new to their kids going to daycare, even when I think my child may be getting a little out of control, they reassure me that he’s just being a kid… and it will happen sometimes but the more he comes and completes his days there the better, and they were honestly right. Thank you guys so much ♥

This daycare is incredible. The children are happy and well taken care of. The staff is amazing. I highly recommend.

W.I.S.E Academy is the absolute best! This is an amazing private school, and it was a blessing from God to have my son be apart of the program. These are some of the things that I really enjoyed.
Communication regarding themes and activies for the week are always emailed. Parents get a menu for the whole month- Breakfast, lunch, snack, & yes Dinner! My son would LOVE to tell me about his homework, and he would be excited to do it 😁. When we pull up to the school, we are greeted with a wonderful message from Ms.Lister. We were always welcomed with a hug and a smile from Mrs.Holmes or one of the other awesome teachers.
I love how Ms.Branch teaches the alphabet. She incorporates the students name so I learned my sons whole class just from singing the alphabet with him. What he has learned compared to other kids his age is impressive. They are always asking what school does he go to? I would proudly & excitingly tell them W.I.S.E Academy. If you are looking for a school that has passionate teachers this is it! They will Love, Teach, and keep your child safe.

This morning at drop-off our little one, went right up to Ms. Holmes (the director) with arms open for a hug & my heart smiled. It means so much, and really tells a lot, that our little one is always happy to go in & always comes out happy at the end of the day. There is nothing more settling than having a safe, comfortable, loving place for your little to go. We have been so impressed with the growth our little one has shown since attending W.I.S.E. I have been so shocked and excited about the tremendous help they have offered with potty training! All the teachers & the director are so kind and helpful; I really appreciate the communication they offer; it really shows how much they care. I love that they are passionate about a clean learning environment – the center is super clean, and they have super awesome sanitation devices. I am so thankful we found W.I.S.E - I would highly recommend.

There is nothing bad I can say about Wise Academy! I love the way they nurture and care for each child and also cater to all of the children educational needs. I love how my children have blossomed and embraced learning and education. Everyday they are excited to share with me what they have learned, whether it be a new sight word, or how to spell a color, or even READ!! I am so thankful for Mrs Holmes and all of the wonderful educators. At Wise Academy my children aren’t just numbers they are truly cared for. This by far is the best learning environment and academy, I am so thankful that I made the switch to Wise Academy family. Keep up the amazing work!

I love them!!!!! I never wanted to put my kids in daycare because I was so scared. Mrs. Holmes has helped me through the process and I feel so much peace with knowing I can leave my girls with people who love and care for them. Whatever they are doing, it's working. They do wonders with these children. I've seen a big change in my oldest and it just makes me and my family so proud. I'm very grateful for this place. My girls love going to school. Every morning they are happy and ready to go.

I sent my daughter here from ages 2-3 years old and this was the best experience that we’ve had with daycare ! From the on-going announcements the the dedication to the children’s development! They prioritize safety and family by celebrating every milestone of their staff and students ! I see the lasting effects on her as she enters Pre K 4 this year !!

My child attended Wise academy before and after school for her whole 2nd grade year . From day one , she LOVED attending. Mrs.Holmes , and all of her staff/ teachers are kind , friendly , and attentive. They took great care of my baby, and are very focused on the health and safety of all of the children there. I would highly recommend wise academy to anyone looking for a safe & fun place for their children .

My daughters has been at the WISE going on 3 years and they love it there. Mrs. Brown has taught my youngest to have confidence when speaking and her vocabulary has expanded throughout the years.Even in the midst of a pandemic WISE has followed every protocol there is to keep the students and staff safe. The teachers at WISE are incredible and each and everyone care about the children. I’m truly blessed to have Mrs. Holmes and staff in our lives!

We love Wise Academy!!! It's a major relief knowing I can drop my children off and not have to worry about them. The teachers are amazing and very patient with the children. Ms. Lister brings out the creative side in the children by having them do different projects throughout the year. I love the fact that she takes pictures throughout the year and sends them home.

Wise Academy has been a blessing for me and son Amon. The staff are very polite and friendly. The facility is clean. I love when I pick my son up he is so excited about how he had a good day with his Teachers. Excellence on teaching the kids how to wash hands and every day life. Always in good spirits.I love how every day there is a board outside with encouraging words for the students as well as parents.. Couldn't find better day care. I absolutely love this school and all of its teachers and the director. I noticed a positive change in my son after such a short amount of time being enrolled at this facility. My son did not speak much before attending this school and constantly cried, but after two weeks of just being loved on by the teachers and his teacher being patient with him, my son is very talkative for a 2 year old. He can accurately identify shapes, colors, letters and numbers randomly. My niece is fully potty trained and can also identify shapes, colors, letters and numbers at random . W.I.S.E. Academy says that they follow a curriculum- I can definitely tell that children do not sit in front of movies all day. I can honestly say that this school offers a structured, clean safe environment for children to learn and grow, but still maintain their individuality. As a parent you worry about your children's safety and you wonder if your child is being treated fair. I have NO worries leaving my children in the care of any of the staff at this school because the staff makes you feel like you're apart of a loving family. I am grateful for stumbling upon this school.

I can’t express how much I LOVE this place! All the teachers are friendly and amazing and love your children as if they are family! My daughter comes homes everyday with something new she has learned and can’t wait to come back the next day! They make sure to keep the facility clean and smelling good and takes all precautions to avoid the spread of germs and staying COVID free!! I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a caring place to send their children during the day! Thank you for being such an amazing school for my child!

I love the staff, and the owner Mrs. Holmes. Her and her staff are friendly, open, and helpful. Everyone has demonstrated to me a level of people who love what they do and are there for the kids. My kids can say bye to them 20 times and they will still say bye to her each time. Mrs Holmes will work with you if you need anything. I love everyone of the teachers my girls came under the care of. Mrs Holmes staffing schedules alone sets WISE Academy apart from the rest. Staff is not fatigued from working all day from the times it is open till the time they close. Hence, they have patience with our precious little ones. Mrs. Holmes always have the talk to talk to any parent about anything. Between her and her staff they have over 30 years of experience. I feel the teaching curriculum, child to teacher ratio and classroom set ups superseded any expectation that any parent can wish for. I was sold on the day I took a tour. My child has learn a lot here that I personally have not taught her and especially during the pandemic. Your children will be ready for school and more attending here. WISE participants in the Texas Rising Star Program which is a program that exceed above expectations of Texas’ requirements for child care services curriculum and regulations. Children gets plenty of outside playtime. There are constantly and openly line of communication with parents of things going on at WISE and of protocols. I would highly recommend WISE to anyone to attend here.

The WISE Academy is a great safe learning environment. My three children have been attending WISE Academy for almost 2 years now and my children have learned so much. They have grown intellectually and are taught to follow proper table etiquette and manners. My twins are in Ms Stromile's class and their handwriting skills and letter sound recognition are excellent and continues to improve. My little one is in Ms. Lister's class and he knows his alphabet, numbers and simple addition and so much more! I have been very pleased with this school and I feel good knowing that my kids are in a caring nurturing environment.
