Dallas Tortilla & Tamale Factory

My first time here and loved it. So happy they had barbacoa available. I also purchased chx tamales, beef jalapeño tamales, tortillas, Pico, chips, and conchas. They close at 6pm unless they sell out.

I got 2 dozen one chicken and pork and I'm fixed to do get another chicken and gonna check out the tortillas we'll send the pork and tortilla to Tampa Bay Florida to my girlfriend like I told them if I like them I will buy them

Got lucky, they had pork jalapeno left Xmas eve morning. Sure miss the east Dallas location. They have the best Tamales I have ever had in 50 years.

This is one of the few remaining places where you can buy authentic, good tasting tamales as well as menudo. They also sell a limited amount of Mexican foods used for cooking. This is a family owned store. They are very friendly here.

If you like tamales, come check this place out. The employees are nice, and they have a large variety of different flavors to die for.

I been buying my Christmas tamales here for the last 4yrs. The best in Dallas. Friendly staff, great family owned business, I believe for over 60 years. Love their spicy pork tamales....the chicken is pretty good as well. Great homemade salsas (red and green), and fresh pico de gallo.

$12.95 for one dozen tamales. This morning only beef and chicken available. Worker said that pork would be available in 45 mins. Cold cases were empty. No salsa available. (New salsa price $2.00.) I didn’t see any chips on the shelf either.
Beef Tamales 🫔 were delicious. Good flavor in the meat and masa. Also got 13 tamales in my first container. 🎅🏽

This is one of those "Hole in the wall" places that I like to go to.
I went a couple of days before Christmas.
The place was buzzing with activity.
The food was fantastic!!!

Very pleasant, the young lady was nice. Really enjoyed the food. Good and hot!!!

Prices have went up since the pictures that were available online. I spent 15$ for 12 tamales. They were good. Kinda overrated IMO.

I grew up in Texas so when I get back I always try to get some authentic tamales... This place did not disappoint!! Parking is a little confusing, but not too bad. Would highly recommend!

Dallas Tortilla & Tamale has very Good food and service. I have been buying from them when they had a store in Pleasant Grove on Lake June & St. Augustine and on Greenville Ave. That's saying a lot about their service and Food. Edward and his co worker were very professional. Thanks.

Authentic atmosphere. Service is so AMAZING! They are fast, helpful, and so friendly. I would recommend everything they have in the store, food is top notch! Definitely a must visit if in the area!

I just Love the tamales from here. It took great will power to not start eating them while in traffic since they smelled so good and was very hot (temperature wise)... LoL I hated that they left the Grove but my opthalmologist is right down the street from this location so I will be stopping here after every eye appointment. I just feel bad that I am now going here after my husband passed away this past March because he Loved Dallas Tortilla Factory tamales as much as he loved mine. Oh and my is a big fan of the Dallas Tortilla Factory and started tearing into them as soon as I got home and showed them to her. I will be back for more.
