Alamo Drafthouse Cinema Lake Highlands

What a fun way to watch a movie!! The seats are big to accommodate a table in between the seats which is there for food and drinks. They have a menu of various food items, popcorn, pizza, etc. You can even get a beer or glass of wine. A server comes around to take your order and deliver it - so cool!! We got soda, popcorn and a plain pizza, all pretty good. The inside of the theater is very cool and has a vintage feel. We will definitely be back!

This is a great theatre to visit if you want a quiet and luxurious movie going experience. As silence on devices and no talking is enforced, all showings at an Alamo are silent and focused on the movie. Food and drinks are available at an additional purchase, and all items are brought to your seat from a dedicated server accessible via button.

My fav movie house to visit. Always clean, food is amazingly delicious (and expensive of course!) and the sound quality is dope!! Staff is kinda friendly kinda sassy, so dont be too serious there. Easy to find, parking lot is always a little packed. Check it out, you wont be sorry!!

I used to go to Alamo Draft a lot when I was in Houston, but this was my first time going to one in Dallas. It was a nice experience just like I remembered it in Houston. This theatre is in a nice location on Abrams Rd and it was clean and well organized therefore making the movie experience enjoyable. I highly recommend the new Indiana Jones movie.

I loved the atmosphere and the place as a whole. All seats have a good view of the movie screen.
Burgers and fries were great.
The food prices are pretty high. Almost $80 for 2 burgers, fries, soda and beer.

This is a movie-goers movie theater!

It has BIG screens, immersive sound, clean, comfortable modern reclining seats, cool temperature, strict policies against distractions (late arrivals, cell phones, unaccompanied children, talking, etc.), bottomless popcorn you can share, and endless refills on soda.

The food is a little pricey (kinda what you expect from a movie theater), but tasty. The menu includes salads, pizzas, burgers, chicken tenders & sandwiches, even fish & chips. The fries are great, but my favorites are the steak sub, creme brulee & berries french toast (limited availability).

The milkshakes are great, but they also serve beer, wine, and cocktails - including spiked milkshakes.

Special themed menus are created for big releases, and they'll occasionally throw in free themed trinkets.

They regularly play retro movies and seasonal favorites (like Elf), sometimes with pre-movie audience-participation games and contests with prizes.

All-in-all, if you appreciate the movie theater "experience," this is your place!

Great time. Did the family event for Kung Fu Panda 4. Activities were prepared in the front of the theater and goodies were on the table. An announcer came out and did a fun little challenge activity before the show where some kids once prizes (tickets). They nicely adjusted their usual strictness a bit to be child accommodating for a family event (while not being completely carefree on texting/unnecessary noise) so it was a nice balance. A great way to watch a movie with kids just like it normally is as an adult. My family had a blast and my only fear is that I’ve set the movie watching experience bar too high.

Fantastic location. Our first time visiting this theater. Very clean. Its quiet in the lobby. Bathrooms were also very clean. The seats were extremely comfortable and reclined! And also the staff was super friendly and took the time to confirm our food order. (The food was delicious) will definitely come back again!

This is one of those movie theaters that has food and spirits in that food can be delivered to you if you like I really enjoyed it the seats were relaxing I would have liked for them to be heated but I enjoyed it nonetheless

By far a great place to go on a date. Had a wonderful time and experience. Seats are very comfortable and recline and your food is brought to you 😁 no more having to get out your seats for refills, full fledged restaurant menu and it's goooooood stuff haha.

They have very comfortable reclining chairs and the food is really good. They show a great mix of new releases and older titles I haven't seen on big screen.

Caught a matinee and enjoyed bottomless popcorn and drink w some chicken tenders(my server DJ suggested I try w gochujang sauce and was even better). Very clean restrooms and facilities with very friendly staff. Great location and I will return soon!

Great theater with comfortable reclining seats. Plentiful servers gave quick, discreet service that didn't disrupt the show. This is my new favorite theater, and I can't wait to return for another movie.

Always a good experience at Alamo Drafthouse. The reclining seats are comfy and I appreciate their policy for no disruptions during the movie.

The Alamo Drafthouse is already the gold standard in movie theatres, but the one in Lake Highlands is the cream of the crop. It's clean, plenty of seating, and has great service.

I have been to many theatres but Alamo Drafthouse is probably the one you wanna keep going back to.

I truly enjoyed my movie experience at Alamo Dart house (Lake Highland). Customer service was great and the theater was clean and spotless. The food was hot and delicious.

Their food and service are great. While the movie is playing, I like how the servers move silently across the isles like ninjas. They look like they are doing the Naruto run.

Feel it is the only theater I can go to where the other customers won’t drive me insane through poor behavior. The season pass is a really good deal as well.
