Incredibly tasty lunch. The pastrami sandwich was melt in mouth delicious and the pizza was very flavorful. The crust was not as well done as we like, but the fresh ingredients made up for it

We really enjoyed our pizza and will be back to try the pastrami. Awesome outdoor space too!

I'm always leery when Texans recommend pizza places to me. Was happy to find that all the great reviews for Pieous are well deserved. Excellent, very true Neapolitan style pizza, with the familiarity of NYC.

Let your slice cool to really bring out the starchiness and flavor of their sourdough-based crust, while the rest of the toppings satisfy you with their freshness and quality.

We stumbled upon Pieous on our way from Austin to San Antonio and WOW!!! We loved everything about the place from the decor and atmosphere to the pizzas. I had the Rocket, tasted exactly like the same thing I had in Rome. My husband had the Fat Queen and enjoyed every bite. The handmade goodness of Pieous is fantastic! Wish I lived here to have it again. ❤🍕

Thin crust Neapolitan style pizza.
The margherita and even simple cheese were really good.
Pastrami used to be better, but it is still ok.
Affogato was huge and was too much ice cream to my taste.

Love Pieous. After being away from Austin for almost five years, it was one of my first stops. Gotta’ get the caesar!

Having grown up eating pastrami in Boston and New York delis, this is the best Pastrami I’ve ever tasted! Buy the 7-8 lb vacuumed sealed and you will have a food experience 🍀❤

Great pizza and great pastrami. They make everything from scratch, and the quality justifies the price. The owners are hands-on all the time and run a smooth sailing ship. You will not be disappointed.

Went last Sunday (last one at the current location) after watching a feature on “Good Taste with Tanji.” Longish drive, but well worth the trip. Had pizza, pastrami and blueberry cobbler cheesecake. All were scrumptious, but the pastrami was my favorite! Staff was friendly and very efficient. You could tell this place has quite the following from the great interaction between the owners and many regular customers. Easy repeat the next time we’re in West Austin!

Top-notch! The staff is friendly and genuine. The food is made quickly and with care. The restaurant is kept clean. The restaurant offers a variety of options although they’re known for their pizza. They offer salads, sandwiches, baked goods, teas, and coffees. The seating style has 16 seater benches in the middle, 4 seaters in the back, and double seating along the window. There’s also out door seating available for large parties and nice weather.

it has house-made mozzarella, roasted chick peas, and the most bombass dressing in the universe.! (ProTip - order an extra container of dressing to-go, for your upcoming week's salads or charc plates 👍👍)
Bubs and I think it's *extra* magical if you add some pastrami and/or pepperoni (it's the little slices that cup up when heated) to the Choppy. Magical enough that we'll regularly drive from San Antonio to Dripping Springs just for friggin salad, y'all! SOOOOO GOOD!!

We *always* order a Choppy, but sometimes supplement with the Pieous Plate (pastrami, sourdough, awesome pickles & stoneground mustard, onions) (Pieous pastrami is seriously the best thing this side of an NY deli!)(For real! Like, per request, we've bought a whole pastrami brisket and dry-ice shipped it to New England on several occasions - *that* good.) or a Neopolitan wood-fired pizza - my fave is Rocket, with all its yummy arugula and garlickyness, he likes Fat Queen, with allll the meats and red sauce.

Affogato are an every-meal contractual obligation (I mean...we drove all that way. Gelato & espresso bang for my miles, plz! 😆🖤☕) and I can occasionally talk my way into some perfect cheesecake too, "for special occasions". (Like....we made it thru another day of life in Texas "special occasion" lol)

Duuude, do I ever hope they open the dining room again soon!

Our family is a Texas transplant from Chicago and we just couldn't find great pizza like we were used to. That problem is now solved! Absolutely amazing atmosphere and staff and food!!!!! Very happy customers!

I threaten to stop here every time I pass through Dripping and today was the day. I have always heard that their pizza is not even the best thing they serve however it was past breakfast and I’m a vegetarian so the enormous pastries and meatball sub were out.

Portions are generous as the salad was enough for 4. House made dressing was perfectly tossed into fresh greens.

The pesto pizza was made with fresh ingredients and the crust was chewy and blistered in all the right places. I was surprised how fast it came out too with a medium sized lunch crowd.

They have a nice selection of beer and wines as well as Maine Root drinks.

It’s not just the pizzas that are amazing, you HAVE to try their pastrami and sandwiches!!! Bottom line this is the place you want to go back and try everything on their menu👍

Soft, cloud-like pizza: this is the closest I have found in the US to real, napolitana pizza. The pastrami sandwich was also very filling and delicious.

This is the first time I've been to the new location and was not disappointed. They have so many seating options both inside and out. Today was gloomy and chilly so we opted inside.
The place inside is super nice and clean. The service was speedy and friendly.
The pizzas are always delicious. My favorite to order is the simplicity with bacon added to it. It's never overwhelmingly heavy or greasy. We also got the fat queen which is tasty and loaded with meat.

If you've never made it to pieous at all you're missing out. This place is just as good as the old pieous.
