The Uptown Social

We enjoy coming here every time we visit. The rooftop patio is a great place to catch a breeze and some nighttime views of the city.

One of my favorite bars of all time. I lived in Georgetown for two years in my late 20s, and this bar was my favorite place. So many good memories. Everything a community bar should be: regulars, live music, good bartenders, friendly owner. Laid back, but not a dive bar. Great patio that l watched many a sunset on... Highly recommend.

Great food. Awesome staff. Great "bluesy" style band tonight. We had a tiny problem with a drink/bar order. The manager made it right in mere seconds, without a second thought. Not what I expected, but much better. Highly recommend the jalapeno bacon shrimp bites. I will definately go back.

Okay, so the crowd here is so hit or miss. But I think that is what makes it perfect for people watching! Anything from college students to senior citizens and everything in between. I always sit at the bar and never have an issue with service. I love everything on the menu - especially the stuffed mushrooms and meatball sub. The best part about Uptown is their phenomenally cheap drink and food specials Mon - Thurs.

Arrived in Georgetown a little late, checked into a lousy Days Inn (I will post my review on that later). Met up with our friends and they brought us to The Uptown Social. Adorable place, good food and great service. The best part is I had the pleasure of hearing and meeting "King V". He is one seriously talented and smooth musician. His soulful voice was so clear and so awesome. He demonstrated his talent by his effortless ability to make his guitar do magical things to our eyes and ears. So much soul in his voice you could swear you were in New Orleans. King V was a very nice man too. I'd love to hear him perform again!!!

Great spot to sit on the outside roof deck in the fall winter or spring months and enjoy the cool evenings with a cold draft beer. Not so great in the hot summer unless there is a breeze. Great spot for a large group who like to mingle and enjoy visiting with each other without worrying about being too loud.

Smoking tables are outside on the balcony, which has an amazing view of Georgetown.
Open from 3pm-12am Mon. - Fri. & Sat. 3pm-1am.

The best place for drinks and one of the two good places for pizza in Georgetown!
The employees are always nice, friendly, fun and enjoy working here, the bartenders are knowledgeable about their drinks and are very consistent with the mixes, the kitchen guys are very chill and make a bombdiggity pizza, Frank (one of the owners) is usually there and is either chatting with customers on the floor, but if they get busy, he won't hesitate to help make drinks or run food.
Friendly environment, relaxing, laid back, live bands, good drink specials.
I definitely recommend the Uptown Social to anyone who wants to have a drink or dinner in Georgetown!

Love their pizza..either the Marguerite or the Mona Lisa are my favorites. Great atmosphere..can't wait till it cools down to sit outside.

Absolutely worth checking out the weirdest bar I've been to. Seems like an office building, but great views and not super loud if you're outside!

It is a really good place the Greek pizza it's amazing and the wings extrakrispy were gorgeous I recommend this place because is a place to enjoy live music, drinks and good talk love it!!!
