The food was delicious, and the atmosphere was phenomenal. Emily was our server, and she was very attentive and provided great recommendations. I was particularly fond of the molotes…so delicious. The flounder was fantastic. My favorite was the brown sugar sponge cake with hot chocolate…amazing! Will come back.

Had dinner here with some friends, all I can say is the service was amazing. We had a server named Omar I believe and he was super attentive. Made great recommendations and he even went above and beyond for my friend with her order. Super sweet guy. The place is a gem and the drinks were to die for. Will be back soon! Thank you!

What a beautiful restaurant! The food was delicious. We started off with Beef Short Ribs Tostaditas, which were so good. For main course we had Cochinita Pibil Tacos and The Grilled Fish. Both were scrumptious! We thoroughly enjoyed the food and the atmosphere.

Loved everything about this restaurant. Great ambiance, food, and service. Incredibly friendly staff and knowledgeable waiters. The most amazing salsa and chips. Food is modern while keeping the traditional flair.
Order the street corn! Is amazing. Will return for sure on my next trip to Dallas.

Overall Rating: 11/10
- I’ve been wanting to try Tulum Dallas for so long and I’m so happy I got to come to their Sunday brunch. I would definitely go here for a girls night out next time because the vibes here are versatile for day and night which I love!
- The food was outstanding, everyone loved their food and I loved how the chefs came out to check on us and serve the food. I highly recommend the chicken and waffles I had because it featured an ancho Chile maple syrup that was so decadent. Fried chicken was sooo flavorful too!
- Drinks were perfect and the overall vibe and staff were so extremely nice! I loved the curtain detail in the front (when you go you know what I’m talking about). The hostess addressed me by my first name since I had a reservation so highly recommend making a reservation he was so enthusiastic and nice!
- Highly highly recommend coming here! Bathrooms were so cute and clean too! 🤩

As a Mexican, I really recommend this restaurant.
True Mexican flavor, decoration is amazing, and the Chef Jose was really nice and attentive. My favorite was the octopus and Chile relleno. If you are loooking for a nice and unique appetizer, please order the the Sikil Pak salsa and the Queso Fundido, which it is real Queso, not cheese dip. My mom and I love to make “taquitos” adding the queso and the salsa on top.
If you are looking for Tex-Mex food. This is not the place. If you love Mexican food, this restaurant is a MUST in Dallas.

*Please order the Guacamole flower. and eat it the with the lettuce petals. This will clean your palate since you are not eating chips, which are made with oil.

I wanted to visit based on another’s rave reviews and I’m glad I finally did. This bohemian inspired theme and decor is so relaxing and beautiful. I was also glad that I went on a Sunday evening because there wasn’t a huge crowd and the place wasn’t packed. The staff is so warm and welcoming, the food was really good, and I’ll definitely be back to try the brunch. I love presentation and they definitely serve that up with each plate. Just add a couple of cocktails and you’re good to go!

The scallops were perfect aside from the hard pickled beet on the plate. The lamb chops were undercooked but still tasted great, i asked for medium rare but it came out blue, the gnocchi were absolutely amazing. The mushroom tacos were good but i wouldn't order it again. The octopus was delicious but $13 for a tiny tentacle is absurd, only order this if you have money to burn. The cocktails were all very good, better than 90% of other restaurants. The tartare was amazing, do not miss it! The servers are extremely well informed and intelligent. All in all we had a great night until we saw the bill which was $215. ouch. I usually spend nearly half that amount. We had quite a few of those expensive cocktails so that is the main reason.

This first visit won't be my last. A dear friend suggested this restaurant as a place I should try, so of course I'm all in. We decided to sit at the bar this time around so we ordered from the happy hour menu.

I ordered a glass of Malbec and we both had the Paloma, which is quite tasty. It's a pretty drink and it's good!

For eats we enjoyed the pescado and suadero tacos. The flavors for both were amazing and filling. These happy hour eats are truly petite meals.

Visually the restaurant is beautiful. All photographers would love to rent this spot out. Even folks who aren't photogs would grab a camera. Mix that with great people like Josh (Josué) and you've got a darn good time.

Tulum is quite frankly perhaps the best happy hour in Dallas. The ambiance and decor will delightfully remind you of the Mexican beach town destination the name alludes to. The food and drinks were all delicious and so moderately priced we were able to feast without breaking the bank. Most highly recommend the enchiladas and cocktails.

Happy hour was so great. We started with Cosmos and fish tacos. Loved the presentation of the guacamole. Those enchiladas were so good I was eating the sauce with the leftover chips🤣. Manager and staff super friendly as well. Coming back for brunch.

If you want a truly authentic experience, come to Tulum.

José, the head chef, came to our table last night to explain the brand new menu. His dream is to bring an athentic Mexican experience to the Tex-Mex hub of Dallas.

Yucatán influence can be tasted in all that you try and each dish will take you somewhere you weren’t expecting. I will say, it is extremely enjoyable if you open your mind to new flavors.

The food is exceptionally flavorful, the staff (our server was Maggie) is attentive, and the experience is unlike anything else in DFW.

PROS:
- You can’t get this anywhere else
- Every dish is truly unique
- Professional Staff
- Best ingredients
- Great Prices

Cons:
- very dark inside (like a cave)
- not a family restaurant (not really for kids)
- oddly loud and potentially overstimulating
- no complimentary chips and salsa
- complex flavors are not for everyone

At the end of our meal, Luis, the GM came to the table to ask how the experience was and if we had any feedback. This is a restaurant trying it’s best to swim where many before it have sunk. They are on top of it in terms of service, execution, and delivery. Everything was perfect.

Tips: everyone at our table of four agreed that the independent components of the meal were rather odd at first, until we tried everything together. The key to success with every dish on the menu, is the complimentary flavors on the plate. You must go all in to truly enjoy the experience. Best of luck Tulum!

P.S. - try the margarita.

Hold up wait a minute get your happy hour in it. We headed to Tulum for happy hour. Blown away by the happy hour portion size of the dishes. Started off with the Old Fashioned. Ordered the guacamole the Lechon tacos, Smoked fish tostada and the Beef enchiladas. Also ordered the Bordeaux red wine. Sounds simple but the flavors are complicated. Not Tex Mex. Authentic Mexican recipes. If your palate can only handle and expect Tex Mex then talk to your palate before you enter this place. your palate will be introduced to authentic flavors that will not disappoint. Enjoy!

I'm not sure how I've never heard of Tulum but I'm glad I stopped in. The service and ambiance were amazing, professional waitstaff bumping some electronic music is my kind of place. The food was delicious, the best thing I had was the guacamole which was on another level. I'd come back in the future, no doubt.
