Canopy by Hilton Dallas - Uptown

This was our second visit and definitely won’t be our last. From arrival greeting to departure, see you next time is warm & welcoming! Stacey is wonderful, kind, caring and professional, a great first impression of the hotel. Rooms are clean & comfortable. The food is delicious, hotel ambience is great.

The hotel itself was fantastic. Everything was very clean and the attention to detail was excellent. The entire staff was very helpful. Our tv stopped working at 9 pm and by 9:05, an engineer was knocking on our door and had it fixed in 2 minutes. The front desk receptionists, valet staff, and the restaurant employees were all excellent. One tip I would leave for future guests is the valet is worth it. We parked on the street just outside the hotel to save money and our car got broken into. I know the hotel can’t do anything about that but the valet staff grabbed a vacuum and cleaned the broken glass for us. Would definitely stay here again.

First, I have to say that the man that greets us to Valet Park at this hotel always makes us smile. We always look forward to seeing Stacy when we go to Dallas. This trip was for a family funeral and my husband was not feeling well. The staff was so helpful, especially Sharon (in the lobby restaurant) went above and beyond to make sure we had what we needed. I was so grateful for her help. Everyone on staff is kind and accommodating. The bar on top floor is outstanding too. Our server was Ian and he did a great job. We were stressed but he helped make our evening enjoyable. We love the rooms here. the view and having a balcony makes it feel bigger. We will be back for sure.

I come to Dallas for work on a regular basis. I’ve had difficulty finding a place to stay that I like and can afford. I liked the Canopy Uptown a lot! Comfy bed and pillows, I LOVE the espresso coffee machine. What a treat to have this in the morning. There’s a small drawer style refrigerator, but no microwave so if you have leftovers, you can’t reheat them.
There is filtered water and ice on every floor except 6th so stay on any floor but 6th if you like the convenience of having it on your floor. The filtered water sure saves you from having to buy a bunch of water if you’re the thirsty type.
My draperies didn’t close all the way so it was lighter than I normally like but I travel with an eye mask that darkens everything for me and it didn’t matter. The water pressure though, WOW!!! That’s what great water pressure is supposed to be like! I wanted to stay for hours but couldn’t. Love a nice, hot, powerful shower. Stay on the courtyard side if you like things quiet. Otherwise you’ll hear trains all night.
Haven’t tried the bar or rooftop bar/restaurant, but will on my next stay. Elevators are super fast too. They have valet parking so know that and know it’s an additional charge. Great restaurants nearby as well. I’m happy to have found this place and will stay every time I’m in Dallas for my projects.

Decided to do a staycation over the weekend and glad I chose here! The staff was so nice, even the valet guy. The room was so cozy and clean. Looking forward to my next stay!

This place is wonderful. They have awesome food, a fantastic location, lots of good drinks and an excellent view of the skyline.

Upside is the bar on the eighth floor. They are a hot spot for tourists and locals that like happy hour. The apps here are delicious and the service is snappy.

Downstairs in the lobby, they have another bar that has equally delicious drinks and some yummy food too. The service is a good bit slower down there, but still worth a visit.

The rooms are really cool urban chic. They are clean and modern. The TVs are nice, but there's way too much to do in this neighborhood to stay in the room.

Go across the street to Mutt's on a nice day (with or without a doggo), get a slice of pie at Grimaldi's, have a Happy Hour beer at the Rustic and a late night cocktail at Uptown Pub before you roll back to the room at 02:00. Take the free streetcar down McKinney Ave. if you're too crunk to walk.

I was in town for a conference but wanted to stay away from the downtown area near some walking paths so I decided to stay at the Canopy. I was very impressed from the time I walked in, they were able to get me checked in quickly and up to my room. My room was clean, quiet and big with a great view of the city. The hotel is less than a quarter mile to at least 5 different restaurants and about 15 minutes from the Katy trail which is a very safe walking/running/biking trail. The hotel is also about a 4 minute walk from the Uptown DART station. I would stay again.

This hotel is luxury. It feels like an expensive and glamorous adventure which is ALWAYS my vacation vibe.
Also, I made an expensive mistake and the manager Bryce and Ebone treated me with kindness and helped me. I appreciate amazing customer service in 2024!

This was one of my best hotel stays in a long time! The staff is helpful and I really appreciated the macarons I received at check in! Valet is super fast and professional. Rooms are modern and clean with lots of nice touches like the robes and separation between bathroom /dressing and bedroom areas. Central to everything without being in a corporate downtown environment - I loved it and will return!

Canopy by Hilton Dallas Uptown offers a range of amenities, including a well-equipped fitness center, a relaxing spa, and inviting communal areas. The hotel's attention to detail in providing these facilities adds value to the guest experience.

Have stayed here several times. Rooms are very clean. Love the rooftop bar. Would be even better with a few extra servers but overall it is great. Love the location too. Pricing is high so points usually work out better here.

We really enjoyed our time here. The room was clean and the staff were extremely friendly and professional, especially Bryce at the front desk. He went above and beyond to accommodate us, even welcoming us into the hotel at midnight the first night when we hadn’t previously booked a room. Thank you Bryce for your kindness and professionalism, it has not gone unnoticed and was the highlight of our stay.

The best stay I have ever stayed at. The roof top var is amazing! Rooms are so comfortable, and that chase is so comfortable too!

The hotel was quiet and in a nice location for uptown. The rooms were good. Bed and pillows were comfortable. Stacy was absolutely the best! He was so welcoming and such a pleasure to deal with. He always got our car quickly. This guy is a big part of the hotels reviews for a reason. He made our stay amazing!

Incredible staff that is consistent and dedicated.

I stay here every other month or so and appreciate the great rooms and service. Bar is cool upstairs and down. Great for business trips.

I am not really sure about the rooms as I only visited the roof top bar on their 8th floor
It was glittery, away from the usual Dallas vibe
The service and the table is not registerable, it was more on the come and occupy basis,
The drinks were well made, the pricing was not too bad as well.

Great hotel, great staff, great safe location. So many special features such as check-in waters and macarons by a local bakery, free wine/beer tastings 4-5 except Sunday, clean modern nicely decorated comfortable rooms, fun lobby to sit with your computer, and rooftop bar. Nespresso machine in room and coffee in lobby until 10 am. The hotel buffet breakfast until 10 is actually delicious and high quality with everything from eggs and bacon to yogurt and berries to cooked oatmeal with quinoa and toppings; a bargain at $15.00 per person. Two minute walk to nice stores and restaurants. Ten minute walk to Katy trail, a great place to run or walk in Dallas.If you have time. The free M-line trolley that stops right near the hotel q. 20 minutes is a fun one hour ride (not narrated) or you can get on and off as you wish. Will return to this hotel.

This hotel was great! The rooftop bar and views were amazing. There is a downstairs bar as well which is also just as nice. Breakfast was solid with a buffet-served style menu with freshly made eggs, bacon, sausage and potatoes. There were other options of waffles etc depending on the day. Of notable mention and who truly made the stay great was the concierge, Stacey. He had the most amazing attitude. He took great care of our vehicles, was very polite, inviting and truly just added that extra to our stay! Thank you, Stacey! If you are reading this, You are awesome and we greatly appreciated your hospitality!!

Wonderful Hotel in Uptown. We were welcomed with the upmost professional staff. Beautiful view of Dallas skyline. Great amenities!

One of the best service hotels that I've stayed.
Especially, the staff called Bryce is so professional and kind all the time.
