McKinney Avenue Trolley Uptown Station

Absolutely amazing and wonderful ride and information! The kids enjoyed the view and all the knowledge obtained by the driver! Definitely recommended for travelers it's by donations and with those donations it keeps these wonderful capsuls of time functioning and that gives us all a little enjoyment!!

This was an awesome little adventure. I have never ridden a trolley before. It was nice to be able to sight see instead of drive.

Wonderful experience took my kids and they loved it free ride and it takes you right in front of Kylde Warren Park which was our destination to begin with no reservation needed we literally just jumped on the trolley ❤ will do again

Visited 11/30/20. We had a great experience. We were on the Matilda trolley first which was the oldest trolley that was a trolley that was operated in austrailia, and then brought over seas to dallas where its operated now..
The conductor was very knowledgeable and taught me and my girlfriend a ton on information on these trolleys.

There is no cost to ride the trolley just please donate.

As a kid growing up I was always fascinated by trains, the best part that I got to see, is that the Mckinney Trolley service has one of the only trolley turn table the turns the car around in the other direction. Seeing that was very cool to watch in action.

There is 7 trolleys that they have on the 30th there were only 4 in operation. We rode Matilda and Petunia. I like Matilda alot better from the two just due to the History aspect as its been in operation for 96 years.

When I recently moved here, I was happy to find out the city had a light rail system. I'm a big train enthusiast, so I have fun riding the train all over the city. Then, I was plesantly suprised to find out that an old Trolley was still operating in the city. This is a great date night activity, as you ride a refurbished trolley from days long ago. The line passes many great eaters you can stop off and enjoy. The great thing also that it's free. I do suggest you make a donation as it helps out the cost of upkeep for the trolley.

This was awesome! Air-conditioned Trolley in the this Texas heat was incredible. Very clean and fun time! Conductor was very polite and educational. Definitely worth checking out! I suggest riding the entire loop!

You can access the trolley from various points throughout uptown and victory park. The trolley service is free but you can leave a donation to help support this service. The trolley is a trip back to the past, but they have made it more modern by adding air conditioning. The trolley definitely adds to the charm and uniqueness of the area. You can download the free app and track the trollies in real time so that you know when they will be at your particular stop.

Highly recommended, it's free. You get to ride uptown and go site seeing.

We had the pleasure of riding with motorman Grant tonight. What a wonderful representative of the McKinney Ave. Trolly! He shared enthralling historical information about the trolley. We are truly blessed to have this service available to us. Trolly onward!!!

Great experience riding the trolley. Its free and there is free parking nearby. Total riding time is around 1 hour. Klyde warren park is a nice one to stop by and have some splash fun. Lot of shopping and restaurants on the way.

Loved Seeing The Trolly Car Pull In On This Round Wheel Which It Rotated The Trolly Around Where They Charged It Never Saw That Befor Ot Was Really Neat To See.

Very cool station, it was so neat the way the trolley was spun around by the platform on the floor! And there is parking near by. We had a great time on our ride in the trolley, will definitely do it again!!

Nice to still have free things to do in a city. This is a must thing to do in Dallas. It's nice in the day and night. Takes you from Kyled Warren Park up to Uptown shops and restaurants. They have free masks on board if you forget yours. They have signs to wear masks while on the trolley but they weren't strict on the policy. While it's free, they do accept donations. A ride around the whole track is about 1 hour. Our 5 and 8 year old enjoyed it.

So awesome! The driver was so polite and professional. She had a delay because she was so early and she kept apologizing. The ride wasn't smooth but very educational and touristy. Just what we were looking for!
