The security guards here are very friendly and can direct you anywhere you need to go! I'm here at least once a week. The building is always very clean inside and out. The property is also very well maintained. The deeds department is also very friendly and very well knowledgeable. The parking lot fills up quick though when they have hearings.

Very nice security guy when you walk in the door, everyone in the building has been helpful when I needed a deck permit, change of address, tax info, etc....

Kent County Levy Court is useless I would give no star's if I could. They can't provide any assistance to home owners @ Ponds of Willow Grove. We have fraudulent builders constructing homes on swamp land with Kent County Levy Courts blessing. They allowed them to put basements almost 3 feet below the water level. Then to add insult to injury they have the audacity to put restrictions on homeowners that only allow you to use 23 percent of the land that is yours. So I guess next year I'm only paying 23 percent of my property tax. How about investigating how my home was new, received a certificate of occupancy and had no functional septic system installed.

Ponds at willow grove development- on going water issues causing most houses in the neighborhood to have flooded basements. Can only use 23% of the land to build on. Be aware before buying in the area, I am on my way out of Kent county soon.

The Ponds At Willow Grove Community has some serious issues that the county or courts should step in and offer assistance to the homeowners. Over the last 4.5 years that we have lived here, things are getting progressively worse! The community has retention ponds that have high levels of stagnant water that mosquitoes really love, the ponds have gotten seriously overgrown with shrubbery, the entrance road to the community has an embarrassingly huge dip that you have to approach very slow and some of my neighbors (not me) have sump pumps that Literally run every few minutes because of the way their home was built..... I just feel that a community that has homes that cost well over $400k, should get better assistance from the county or courts, on importantly raised issues by homeowners in this community!!!

Out visiting family at ponds of willow grove. The mosquito problem is horrible. The retention ponds out there are doing nothing but creating this infest. It looks to be not taken care of and way to much water in them to work properly. Couldn’t even utilize his basement due to the amount of wetness. Very poorly designed

Kent county levy court is unresponsive to the needs of the community they cater to big business only and allow them to Circumvent policy. The court will only allow a home owner to utilize 23 % of their property to build on and the homes at the ponds of willow grove take up 18 to 20% of useable space.

Terrible 😣 experience there !!! Systemic bias in full effect. The Assessment office shows a pure indifference to the plight of Disabled Veterans, who is as of now granted Tax Exemption status in Delaware under H.B. 214. They refused to approve my request for this exemption ( I meet the requirements). The woman at the desk (Holly Malone) claim it’s a state bill and I should call the Governor. The assessment team supervisor didn’t offer much help either and was stone faced on the matter. The property assessment team there did not give any explanation whatsoever. I stated to them I believe they have some sort of bias against me , the bill (House Bill 214) or the Governor !!! Mrs. Malone simply have one job, stamp my application and submit. To add insult to injury they called security on me when I was already out the building.

We have been told that we can't have a pool because we can only have 23 percent of our half acre lot as impervious. Kent county won't help with this issue or other issues such as flooding basements due to the county allowing builders to build on swamp land..People need to no this before making purchases

dont plan on doing anything quickly or with proper representation. Highly advise to 100% make sure you know every detail of the lot and house that you purchase in Kent county make sure you don’t buy any property in a rural area. If you do please note that you only have 23% to build on. Will be leaving Kent county shortly.

Kent County Levy court has not been helpful when trying to resolve issues in our neighborhood. We have approached them as a group and individually. They will not approve improvements to our properties if we ask for something that exceeds the 23% impervious limit, even though this has been approved for others in the neighborhood. This amounts to disparate treatment in the same neighborhood and should not be allowed.

From the Ponds of Willow Grove community there major water issues, obstacles trying to get permits to put in pools, fraud with certain builders not building homes when people paid for extras.....the list goes on. All this without representation for county officials

When visiting my dad who lives in the Ponds, I noticed uncut grass and unfinished roadways at the front entrance. There were weeds around the pond that wasn’t visible.

I thought it was a pleasure to live in Kent County but when the County planning service stops you from putting what you want in your own yard it's extremely disappointing!! A change in government officials is needed.
