Great spot if you’re looking for vinyl. If you don’t see it out on the floor just ask, they might have it in the back somewhere. Stopped for the first time today and spent over an hour just flipping through records. Picked up seven while I was there and definitely looking forward to going again soon with my son.

All my adult life, I have dreamed of having my own turntable and record collection. My partner found this place through a mutual friend of ours who is a turntable/music connoisseur and took me there one night for a surprise date night activity.
Turns out, the wonderful people at SqueezeBox Records had found the exact perfect turntable for us (a Yamaha!) And restored and saved it for us. My partner and I just showed up and spent about an hour there with Matt, the wonderful person who works there. He showed us how to handle our (very first !) turntable, its differences from other brands and also how to maintain and clean it. he then let me choose my own record to play on it for the first time, I chose Bach's Goldberg variation and it was such a heavenly experience. We then spent another 30 mins there to pick out more records (I got an original Prince Purple Rain from the 80s in mint condition for $35 only!!) Including a collection of swing music, a bunch of Franky Sinatra and more!
Not only this place is beautiful, heavenly and well-stocked, the people working there love their work and totally know what they are doing. Also the customers visiting there were one of a kind, we met a nice man who told us about the 50s and 60s music and did impressions of Frank Sinatra and his dad in the "Come Blow your horn" 😊
It was a magical visit and I can't wait to go back.

Rich helped me with my shopping experience. He was so cool and knowledgeable that it made my good day a great one. They even let you test the records before you buy, but no worries because they got great content here. Even if you don’t wanna buy, check out one of their live shows when you can!

Great store with a very good selection of albums. They even had some equipment for sale. Employee working the counter was very friendly as well.

A great to dig for vinyl. Bins are laid out in a fashion that make it easy to flip through. The quality of vinyl in the inventory was exceptional. Pricing was good. Also had speakers, turntables & receivers available.

I was in town yesterday from Baltimore, and stumbled on this amazing shop! They had a great selection of everything from sealed LPs, 12’s, 45’s, cassettes, and CDs. Every genre you can think of, they have you covered! The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. If you’re a collector, of just getting into it, this a SqueezeBox is a must!

Rich was extremely friendly and had not only a lot of different genres of music, but also knew and appreciated different genres as well! I had been looking for Def Leppard's "Pyromania" for a while and found it here in great condition! Rich answered any questions I had and also talked about some events they have coming up! I will be back! ♡

Nice selection of new and used vinyl. They have everything you could be looking for. The budget section is definitely worth the look. Mattie was helpful and it was nice dealing with him. I'll be back when I get back to Delaware.

Top Notch! Awesome selection - lots of offerings. I love this place! Look for my painting when you go there..it’s a trippy colorful melting vinyl record morphing into a tie dye pattern (see photo). The painting may be hard to find bc they have so many vintage and current musicians posters and so much more! Check ‘em out, you won’t be disappointed. Tell ‘em I sent ya.

A hidden Gem! The owner Rich was very personable and knowledgeable. Yes they had vintage vinyl, but if your looking for CD'S 😳! Their collection is awesome!!! From smooth jazz to R&B and reasonably priced.

I drove 40min over because of the great reviews. Let me tell you all the good things are true. The owner Rich indeed was knowledgeable, open minded, and extremely nice. He would convince you that you don't need to buy anything to come in. So good talking purely about music and the love for it. As for the collections, one may find more used records than current ones from what i saw. Span a wide range of different genres. There are live music performances pretty often, too. Didn't catch any today but willl check schedule online. Will definitely go over again and again.

I definitely recommend this place to any vinyl lover who want to have a genuine old school record store experience. Not only do they have a great selection of records but the actual place is awesome, with a lounge, record players to listen before you buy and they are even booking live bands. Plus, Rich the owner is super cool. It’s walking distance from my pad, so I’m there every few days.

SqueezeBox is the place to go! Awesome shop. LPs, 45s, equipment for beginners all the way up to super high end turntables and speakers, memorabilia, and instruments too. They manage to have a fantastic selection of new and used vinyl. Everything is categorized really well too. If you are a fan of Jack White/ TMR, this is the place to shop. The staff is exceptionally friendly and helpful. I live 6 hours away and still choose to do my shopping with them and they have always been happy to ship, or hold on to my records until i make the trip to Delaware.

This place is awesome. Great selection of records, CDs, and cassettes. Everything is reasonably priced. The owners are really nice and helpful with selections. Also have sound systems and vintage band shirts available. If you’re a vinyl person, this is the place to go!

Great record store...owner has a passion for an eclectic range of music. The store has a great collection of fairly priced used stuff but also curated contemporary stuff which the owner is excited to share with visitors.

5 stars..if you're a music lover visiting Wilmington you have to visit. If you live in Wilmington you're lucky to have this store here.

Purchased a pair of klipsch chorus loudspeakers from here, retired from playing in the store. Sound absolutely amazing and got them for a steal. Rich, the owner, also recommended a few records which I have not been able to stop playing! Prices are mid-range, but vinyl quality and assortment is outstanding. Shop has a very relaxed atmosphere and even has a lounge area and places where shoppers can demo records before purchasing. Will be visiting again!
