Had the pleasure of working with Todd and his crew with my new construction home. He was in charge of the prewire phase for low voltage and other AV components. From his first introductory email to the last step, he provides exemplary customer service and goes above and beyond. We had Modern Media do two major design installations at our home. We started with setting up a whole house audio/video system that includes an outdoor space, leveraging top quality equipment along with MusicCast to create a high quality audio and video experience. We literally use this system every day.

Building on the first project, we had Modern Media come back to install our media room which also was customized exactly as we wanted. The room was a blank canvas that was designed to deliver an exceptional experience including a platform to enable stadium seating and demolishing/rebuilding columns in the room to fit the new design. Everything was thoroughly thought through to deliver a premium audio/visual experience that not only includes the speaker layout, projector and screen but also custom overhead lighting, sconces and floor lighting. With a 147" screen, premium sound and customizable lighting, it is the place to go when we want to watch a game or a movie.

Todd and his crew are top notch professionals who deliver high quality solutions to meet the most demanding customer requirements. Their service after the installation has been very good. They are responsive and have provided the help that I've needed after the installations were completed. My experience with Modern Media has been nothing but top notch! I highly recommend their services. Todd was competitive and very willing to work with my naiveté in networking. After several contractor estimates (one no show), we chose Todd/Modern Media for his personal and professional attention to detail. His approach to our needs and a total solution fix was the difference maker. His Estimate/Bid was thorough with many details by item and overall system requirements presented logically and in priority. So we called them in on our Control 4 Outdoor patio system that had NEVER worked as advertised and had been the source of frustration for over 2 Years.. Although Just recently certified as Control 4 installers, The team of Nick and Spencer came out to evaluate and trouble shoot the system. And after an extensive checkout , they Finally got our system working consistently as it had been designed to do and even integrated our TV audio sound system to our Sonos speakers, making it a true outdoor theater experience!

Building a media room can be an expensive proposition, and my wife and I wanted to be sure that we would get a fair deal and excellent quality of work with someone we felt we could trust. We shopped with multiple vendors and never really felt comfortable with any of them. We always felt like we were being treated like just another quote that the sales person had to fill out.

Then we met with Todd from Modern Media.

Todd came and visited with us on several occasions, taking the time to really talk to us and understand what we wanted to get out of our media room. He spent time researching and investigating different options for us, each time talking to us about the pros and cons of what each option entailed. He never rushed us and always helped us feel comfortable with the cost and the quality of our selections.

Once we made our selections, the equipment was ordered and the installations were scheduled as soon the items were delivered, which was after only a few days, rather than the weeks we were quoted at other places.

The installation process went well. Todd and Mike were both very professional and very fun to interact with as they installed everything. Nothing was damaged and they patched all holes they cut to do the installation. The installation was well done and they cleaned up everything after themselves. My wife and I enjoy the media room a lot and we feel like we got a great deal for our money.

I enjoyed working with Modern Media on this project because they have great customer service skills, they listen and they are very responsive. I really appreciate that Modern Media treated us like people, not just wallets.

Initially after speaking and visiting with a large media retailer, we decided to look elsewhere. We found Modern Media through the reviews, and gave the owner Todd Forgan a call. Todd was very receptive to our needs, listened to what we were trying to design, and recommended an excellent contractor to assist with the build. All in all, everything turned out exceptional, and the crew was superb. Todd was very quick to provide a highly detailed quote which outlined all aspects of the equipment and labor. From constant clean up to installation to making sure we knew how to use the equipment, all was first class. We would absolutely recommend and would not hesitate to use Modern Media again in the future.

We would highly recommend Todd Forgan and Modern Media. We have been delighted with the results of our new AV system in our house. Todd and his crew were extremely professional and so nice to work with. Todd is extremely knowledgeable and very detail oriented. He took a big project and made it simple to understand. Out of our whole remodel project this has been the easiest and most reliable part. We love our new surround-sound system. We love our new theater and family room sound and image quality. Todd and his colleague, Mike Henry, did in absolutely outstanding job for us. I was working with a set budget, and brought in three separate contractors to provide estimates. Of the three, Todd was by far the most helpful in terms of offering creative suggestions that would improve the media experience. His estimate was also very professionally prepared, and included a description of each of the components and why he was recommending them. The estimate also offered a number of alternatives for cost savings. Throughout this process, Todd worked with us to keep the overall cost down, which was much appreciated.

Installation went very well. Todd's colleague, Mike, did most of the installation work, and finished the room over the course of two days. Todd then provided a comprehensive tutorial on how each of the different systems worked.

We've now had the room for a month, and we couldn't be happier. My wife and I have always enjoyed going out to the movies, but we've found over the last few weeks that we would rather stay in and rent a movie -- the overall experience in the movie room surpasses that which you get at the movie theater, and that includes the screen and sound.

Professional install service capable of anything you imagine. Our new build was properly wired for internet as well as a great mesh network. Media room makes me feel like I am at the movies. Great team, great communication, and easy to work with.
