Great place with great service & food. Fried mushrooms were good, the onion rings were great. Calamari was a bit chewy but good. The shrimp nachos were delicious! Our party of 9 had no trouble finding a table and our server was kind and attentive.

Even though the place was packed we were seated almost immediately. I was anxious for my granddaughter to try their food because she is a big fan and lover of seafood. I must say she was thoroughly impressed and can't wait to take her fiance to try their awesome food. The service was great, our waiter was very attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. Another thing she loved about this restaurant was the atmosphere. She just kept looking around enjoying it.

Fins is one of our regular places to visit whenever we come to Port Aransas. The food here is great. They have really nice burgers, with homemade buns. Their onion rings are some of the best I've ever had, and their french fries are extra crispy. I had their fish tacos for the first time and was very impressed.

The atmosphere is really good, it neighbors the pirate cruise, and you can hear and see the people boarding which is really fun for our kids. It can be kind of annoying for adults though because it's very loud and you can't hear anything over it.

Definitely a nice place to visit while on vacation. Give Fins a try, you won't regret it!

Crowd in the restaurant, but great food! My hubby and I just needed to wait for about 30 mins for our table. Our waiter Ryan was great and super friendly! He knew what he was doing and brought us a great experience. Great location, the parking space could be tricky. If it was full you had to go the opposite side of the street—in the ferry parking area. We enjoyed eating our seafood dishes. They were delicious. Highly recommended.

First night in Port A for a little beach vacation over the Thanksgiving holiday. Stopped in at Fins upon arrival... I must admit I was a bit of a skeptic about the restaurant given the tenor of many of the reviews on GM and the overall rating. I was pleasantly surprised and very pleased with the meal we had at Fins! It definitely outperformed my expectations!

We started with some skinny margheritas, calamari and onion rings. The margheritas were perfect, not too sweet, and the tajin-rimmed glasses did the trick. Both the calamari and onion rings were perfectly fried, super light batter on both, and served with dipping sauces that paired very well with each dish.

The main courses followed with the special of the day, grilled red snapper with Bayou Sauce, grilled shrimp tacos, several po'boys, and little burger sliders for the little ones. All the entrees were very good! The red snapper was cooked perfectly, some rice and grilled green beans on the side. The "bayou sauce" was delicious, subtle spice and creamy goodness.

The grilled shrimp tacos were also very good, with a "jalapeno chimichurri" sauce on top that made the dish. All po'boys were HUGE sandwiches, all ingredients fried perfectly! And the "littles" quickly downed the burger sliders. Special shout out to the fries served on all plates, hot, crispy and delicious, likely double-fried, and well-seasoned.

We had a bit of a wait, but that's to be expected when you arrive at 6:30pm and have a party of eight. Great opportunity to grab a cocktail at the well-stocked bar and hang out with family out front. Service was excellent, orders taken quickly, food delivered promptly, and check presented timely.

Fins delivered a 5-star experience tonight. We'll be back... if not this trip, next time we're down this way. Based upon tonight, highly recommend Fins when you're in Port A!

We had Island Nachos and a house salad - she said the salad was, "the best I ever had"...Island Nachos were excellent, I loved the cheese sauce - even though it was a bit more heavily laden than I would have preferred...Laurel was a very efficient and attentive server...great Gulf shores atmosphere...highly recommended!

Stopped by for lunch since we were feeling seafood. We sat on the patio and watched the boats go by. Thankfully there’s fans so it keeps the air moving. Service was fast and attentive. Food was fresh, hot and fast! You get a lot of it too. The coconut shrimp is delicious! Onion rings and crab cakes were good. The thing that stood out most was how well the restaurant is run and how clean it is. Staff was very friendly!

Just a warning! If you sit on the patio be aware that there are birds. The restaurant does there best to keep them out with netting but some sneak through. They will replace any food involved in “accidents”. All part of the FINS and Port A experience!

If you are nearby and haven’t been to this place till now you are missing out.
This place is absolutely beautiful. Amazing views and incredible service. The servers are so kind, friendly and helpful. They make sure you are really happy when you leave the place. We stopped by here for lunch and had a nice table outside. It was hot but it was really nice too. I don’t drink alcohol so the server suggested they had non alcoholic Pina colada and Strawberry Daiquiri and I ordered the Strawberry one. It was so good. We had a Fins special onion rings as appetizer. So crispy and light it came with a side of ranch and it was the best. For mains I had a black bean burger and my husband had the Gulf fish Veracruz. The gulf fish is fish of the day and it changes. That day it was Mahi Mahi. My husband wanted to try it as it was a white fish. The server was very helpful and told us it’s really good. She also helped us because my husband is allergic to a lot of fish and she helped us figure out if he could eat this or not. The food was amazing my my black bean burger was really soft on inside and crunchy on outside. It came with fries. My husband said it was the best fish he had on the island. If you haven’t been there please stop by this place because it’s worth it.

Forgot to mention about the cute lil gift shop inside the store with quite a collection. They have some fun cars for kids too and I ended getting one for my friends son.

Excellent spot for a seafood treat with great staff and an amazing view of the bay in Port Aransas. Prices are reasonable, and the new bar deck is a must if you like to eat outside and enjoy the view.

Very clean, friendly and great food. I was skeptical at first from some reviews in tiktok, but glad we came. The place was very clean and well organized. The food was great and the pineapple drink was amazing. Price was a little on the expensive side but not bad for a once in a while thing. I will for sure come back again.

We went this past weekend for the memorial weekend and this seafood place is listed as one of the popular spots so of course we decided to try it. We got there and it was a wait... nothing to crazy I believe we waiting maybe 20 minutes.

Right now they are having issues with some of their fryers so if you're going with a family I would confirm it got fixed. I say this because with several fryers broken they were limited on certain things (no chicken fried steak, chicken tenders, family fried deals and a few other things). You could still order fried food but just individual plates and of course if your whole table orders fried it may take awhile.

Our experience was amazing overall. The fryer issue did not impede on our visit. We got as a started calamari and then ordered fried fish and shrimp (classic of course) and ventured into the Gulf fish Vera Cruz. The calamari is nothing to hype about. It wasn't the best and the batter could use the seasoning. With that said that's the only gripe with the food that I had. The fried fish and shrimp was cooked to perfection and the Vera Cruz stands out with its jalapeño chimichurri and Avocado slices. The Vera Cruz had such great flavor and I highly recommend giving it a try. Add all this to the view of the water and your day is all set. I def. Recommend at least trying this place once if not for the relax atmosphere then for the food.

Such a great place for dinner and drinks. We sat at the bar which was covered and facing the water which was so beautiful. The food was delicious- I got the shrimp tacos and fries. And the drinks were great too- this is the jalapeño pomegranate margarita. Definitely recommend!

Great food and service! The place was very crowded and we ended up eating at the bar. Although she was extremely busy, our bartender was super nice and we had the best service. Food was great too!

Service was fast and great it was an all you can eat shrimp on Monday. We had a party of 22 people. The restaurant was busy but they were on top of it and kept bringing out the shrimp and drinks. Shrimp was big and good. I have also had their hamburgers and they are delicious alot with their chicken fried chicken.

This is our second time here and it’s our parents favorite spot to stop and eat. Coconut shrimp always really good. Got the Port - A burger and it was delicious. Fried pickles and jalapeños were nice on top of the white queso. The French fries are really good and remind me of an old diner type french fry.
