I've been going there for years. Very good people an honest. I just had my clasp on my necklace that I've had for 20 years. Fixed. It has my father's cross and a Tasmanian charm. They're a very good friend gave me. I never take it off. It's a family business and I'll always support them.

We walked in to see about dropping off a necklace to get fixed. Much to our surprise they were able to do it instantly as they had the piece needed on hand. Then I asked Gracie if I could also pay to get my wedding rings cleaned. She was sweet & said of course & did it for free along with my husbands ring. Then she said we can come in anytime to get them cleaned! Our rings looked brand new, smooth & shiney. They look way better than who we had originally bought them from. I recently had the pleasure of visiting Georgetown Jewelry to have my engagement ring resized, and I must say, the experience was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by the lovely owners who make you feel like family. Sizing my ring was a bit tricky, and I needed someone who would really listen to my concerns. Sean, one of the owners, took the time to understand exactly what I needed and provided a beautiful, same-day service on my ring. He even offered a complimentary follow-up resizing when it turned out I needed an adjustment, which was also done on the same day without any additional charge.

Previously, I had a rather unpleasant experience with another jeweler in town who was extremely rude and dismissive about the sizing issues with my ring. They incorrectly insisted that because I have a large stone, my ring would always be too big. This was simply not true, and Sean proved it with his expert service.

Impressed by their honest and respectful service, I decided to bring in my very expensive, custom Ritani wedding ring for refurbishing. It's a piece I wear daily and it needed quite a bit of work. While the other jeweler had quoted me a steep $900 for the repairs, Sean quoted about $850. Given the dismissive nature of the previous jeweler, I was already hesitant to return there. So, I left my wedding ring in Sean's capable hands, expecting a long turnaround due to the amount of work required. Imagine my surprise when just a few days later, they called to inform me that my ring was ready and the charge was only $120! In these times, who lowers their price after quoting? Sean explained that the ring didn't need as much work as initially thought, and they adjusted the price accordingly.

The integrity and warmth of Georgetown Jewelry have thoroughly impressed me, and I am currently working with them to create a custom setting that better integrates with my unique wedding ring. I'm thrilled to have found a trustworthy, family-owned local jeweler and I can't recommend Georgetown Jewelry enough.
