I can’t say enough good things. I went in with my 2-year-old son who ended up having a fracture the ER missed. He was in pain and I was so frazzled and the WONDERFUL group of ladies there were nothing short of amazing to both me and my son. I wish I could give more stars. Thank you all for being such amazing human beings during a tough time for this new mama.

We were seen by Dr. Brown and Mary A. (P.A.) on the SAME DAY as our initial phone call!! They squeezed us in (okay, stayed late) and saw us at 5:20PM. Our experience fantastic. Both providers were thorough, informative, responsive, sensitive, and patient. They asked my daughter (15 years old) questions and took the time to clarify/understand her symptoms. They answered all my questions completely and clearly outlined next steps. Despite the late appointment time - they didn't rush through anything. I would recommend this practice to anyone and everyone!

We loved Dr. Brown and his staff! My daughter injured her knee (she’s a ballet dancer). She is normally very tough (as most dancers are trained to be), so when she was complaining that she couldn’t walk, extend, or bend her leg at the knee, I was alarmed. I was convinced it was a meniscus injury (thanks Dr Google 🤦‍♀). She was in a lot of discomfort, so I called Ouch Ortho and they scheduled us in within 24 hours! Wow! I was super impressed.

The next day we went to see Dr. Brown. I didn’t even know he was the doctor because he was so humble and approachable. He “humanizes” doctors. He didn’t make me feel intimidated or like I was an over-concerned, hypochondriac mother. He assured me it was not a meniscus issue, but because he saw my concern, he issued an order for an MRI (totally optional for us), which we chose to have done that very same day! By the following day, we had the results, and Dr. Brown was right! Her bones were just bruised and she just needed some rest. Thank you Dr. Brown and staff! Such a professional, competent, and friendly team.

My only regret is that we didn’t get a photo with Dr. Brown ☹. I absolutely recommend Dr. Brown and his Southlake office, Ouch Ortho! Has our stamp of approval 👏!

Dr. Brown was very informative. His bedside manner with my 11-year-old daughter was fantastic. He took the time to explain things in detail at no point did I feel like we were being hurrying us out to the next patient. Which is been most of my interactions with doctors. Very reassuring of what my daughter can, and can’t do with the injury we were being seen for. Would highly recommend him to anybody dealing with youth sports injuries! Thank you, Dr. Brown

Amazingly different orthopedic practice. Front office staff is very responsive and efficient. Dr. Brown was very thorough in his evaluation and my child was very comfortable in his presence. We were also updated promptly with all our test results.

THANK YOU DR. BROWN and the ENTIRE STAFF for such impressive care for my daughter. My toddler was previously misdiagnosed at another facility for a broken wrist. However, upon seeing Dr. Brown, he immediately recognized it was something much less severe. My daughter actually had a dislocated elbow (no fractures) but had been in pain while not being able to put pressure on her arm for the past 24 hours. As soon as Dr. Brown readjusted her elbow, she was completely normal happy self again. We truly appreciate his professionalism and knowledge for quickly recognizing the issue which avoided unnecessary treatments we would not have needed. Also, HUGE thanks to the entire team for the accommodation scheduling and caring for us after office hours!!

Dr. Brown not only set my sons broken bone-he did it perfectly. He provided comfort to my son and I by being an amazing doctor. He also took a look at why my son had been tip toeing. I can express how amazing this doctor and how personable. I will not go anywhere else. He knows what he is doing and is very good at it. The staff is welcoming and sweet. My son broke his arm on a Wednesday and Dr. Brown was able to fit him in and see him on a Thursday. He is great with 6 year olds. Loved everything about this wonderful doctor.

The crew at OUCH Ortho made what could have been a scary experience into a fun one for my 10 year old daughter. We came in with a few fractured foot bones, and left with a pumpkin-spice cast and a smile. The education on their website is helpful. However, the 5 stars is for the staff and PA. Every person we came into contact with went above and beyond to make my daughter feel comfortable with what was going on. The little extras in the cast construction were so thoughtful, too. Well done all around, OUCH!

This was the first time one of my kids broke a bone so I didn’t really know what to do but I knew I wanted a doctor that worked with kids. I search for a pediatric doctor and found Dr. Brown’s office. Everything from scheduling an appointment to getting the cast was so easy! The doctor and staff were super sweet and amazing to my boy and I couldn’t be happier! Hopefully we don’t ever have to go through this again but if we ever do I will at least have piece of mind knowing I have an amazing doctor I can call! I highly recommend them to anyone looking for an orthopedic doctor! You won’t be disappointed!

Amazing staff, from the initial phone conversation all the way to check out! After a traumatic experience with another pediatric Orthopedic doctor in the area (Varsity Orthopedics), my son was extremely scared and anxious coming into this appointment but the staff, PA and Dr. Brown, made my son so comfortable. They were patient, caring and made him laugh the entire visit. If you're looking for a Orthopedic doctor for your child, look no further!

This is, by far, is the best medical team I have had the pleasure to work with!! Every. Single. Person. was extremely friendly, courteous and professional, making us feel like we were their only patient (except for the unexpected delay in the waiting room). I have never been treated so kindly by everyone at the same practice (usually it’s only one or two, not the entire staff), as well as receiving the level of care and attention that we did. I wish all medical offices-and any other service for that matter-were this amazing! It was so refreshing (and made the wait completely tolerable)!

I was so impressed with this place. I took my 11 year old daughter for knee pain and was able to get an appointment the day that I called. The wait time wasn't long, the staff were very friendly and fast and the Nurse Practitioner was extremely thorough and educated us throughout the exam. I would highly recommend this practice.

We are very happy with the care my son has received from Ouchortho both times he has needed this type of care. They were able to detect and treat him so he could he back on the court ASAP.

The team at Ouch Ortho is nothing short of AMAZING! I have now been here with all three of my children wth different broken bones. My oldest said her favorite thing is that they made her laugh when she was in a great about of pain, middle one says they where so nice and the youngest said that they made me not scared.

Dr. Brown has been life-saver for my children. I can't speak highly enough regarding his level of care, expertise and knowledge. He's an excellent doctor and a really nice man.

Dr. Brown is kind, caring and very good at what he does! Our son has been a patient for 4 years now. They are typically on time and efficient on our and their time! Highly recommend.

The doctor listened and addressed all of our concerns. Who needs a second opinion when you receive this type of treatment. I would give 10 stars if I could.

I can't say enough about this crew. They treated my son after he broke his arm playing football. They got us in quickly, were thorough in explaining his condition, and made the entire process a good experience. I highly recommend!

Dr Brown is great and all of his staff has the best bed side manners! They treat you just like family. When I walk in for appointment I know my questions and concerns will be answered and very helpful to me.
