OMG - just OMG! Just discovered this place today! Both Shari (Owner and baker) and the person serving me were so kind and helpful! When I couldn't decide, they gave me a bite of both the german chocolate cake and the famous grandmother's recipe Carrot cake! Both were the best cakes I have had in a long while! All made totally from scratch (totally..not half way) with organic ingredients. The cinnamon roll was light and moist and perfect! I could go on...but suffice it to say, I'm going to get fat!!! Definitely check this place out, but note that they are closed on Wednesdays!! Note that my pic of the cinnamon roll is with it frozen (I wanted to save for later and forgot to take a pic!)

I’ve got to give a huge shout out to Shari (the owner), Summer and Anthony for such an amazing experience at 18 Carat Bakery.
I placed an order with Shari for a 3 layer white icing/ white cake and told her that it was for my girlfriend and asked if she could make it special......man she knocked it out of the park. This incredible tasting creation was a thing of beauty. I couldn’t believe the level of detail.....just over the top!
My sweet girlfriend loved it, she said it had the perfect amount of icing to cake ratio and the cake was moist and dense.
Needless to say the investment paid off wonderfully.
I highly recommend 18 Carat and will definitely be returning again!

Yesterday our Bridge Group had a Mid Winter
Celebration here, High Tea! Unfortunately several people were missing because
of Covid and other reasons. We had a WONDERFUL time. Sharri is the ultimate hostess, and the food was superb.

18 Carrot Bakery consistently makes the best cakes, pies and pastries my wife and I have ever tasted! The carrot cake and blueberry lemon cakes are magnificent! In fact, every new cake we taste there quickly becomes our favorite. Additionally, the owner is as friendly and hospitable as she is masterful at her craft. She comes out of the baking area whenever she can to personally meet customers and answer questions about her process, ingredients and upcoming masterworks. You won't find a better bakery experience than 18 Carrot's locally-owned, handmade, personally curated service.

The German Chocolate Cake we got for my mother’s birthday was absolutely amazing! She hasn’t stopped talking about it for months now. Every time I’m in the square I pick up a couple pieces to keep her at bay, also LOVE the carrot cake. Small locally owned business like 18 Carrot Bakery really make the square a special place. We can’t wait to place our Thanksgiving pie order.

Absolutely amazing cakes. And cheesecakes. Homemade with love and organic ingredients. My mom (who doesn't like coconut) even liked the cakes with coconut in them. Personable, sweet owner and employees. I would give them 10 stars if I could. Go in and grab a slice. Totally worth every penny. My son got a strawberry cake, real strawberries, (he can't have red dye) so being organic with no dye was perfect. The crust on the cheesecake was fantastic (I'm picky) and the triple chocolate cake was perfect gooey goodness, my 3 year old loved it. I wish I had taken pictures but we ate it all too fast. Haha.

This place had some really great cake! We got the carrot cake (of course) and it was delicious. Moist and flavorful with a nice cream cheese frosting. Would happily go back and recommend it.

I ordered a strawberry cake and strawberry cupcakes for my daughter's baby shower on 5/22. It was absolutely the most moist cake I've ever had. The guests continued to rave about how good it was all throughout the shower. Mrs. Sharri is truly awesome and will make sure your experience is a memorable one. Thank you! :)

Oh my goodness. This carrot cake is divine! I love carrot cake in general but this was probably the best I have ever tasted. The service is amazing here and you can tell that they treat all customers like family! 10/10 will definitely go again!

After the terrible winter storm in a middle of a pandemic, we were unable to visit mom for her 80s birthday from Boston. However, she had the best carrot and cheese cake ever! Also the cookies!Of course, the front door delivery service was the best thing for us.Thank u for the yummy and very freshly baked cakes!! Definitely a great place for a mother's day cake next!

Best carrot cake ever! And the chocolate espresso cake is better than my homemade chocolate cake, which is hard to admit! All organic ingredients, too. Worth the visit for sure! Great staff/owner....so kind & attentive!

Last night some girlfriends & I took a pasta making class at 18 Carrot. It was the most wonderful experience. All hands on experience. We didn’t realize how easy it is to make pasta. Thank you Shari for your kindness & sharing your recipes with us.We also got to sample the Carrot Cake! Words can not express the deliciousness of her specialty! We will definitely go back for another class!

They make the best lemon meringue pie! They went out of their way to deliver it ahead of the original delivery date. I am so happy with the service and quality of the products. I highly recommend!

Emailed about a German Chocolate Cake. Needed one asap for wifes birthday. I should of ordered one before hand but hey....I'm a guy. lol Shari got back to me very fast. She was like, "I know my baker made an extra one yesterday, call the shop and confirm he still has it." BOOM! They still had it! Now the real review is about the quality and taste of the product honestly. I personally hate coconut BUT** this cake was freaking delicious! The wife went into coconut and chocolate coma. I ate a full piece of COCONUT cake...I HATE COCONUT and this cake was so freaking good! Moist, creamy...AMAZING! 100% Check this place out, order a cake or two! You will not be disappointed!

We are out of town era from San Antonio and we were doing some day tripping. The owners was very personable and inviting. The reason I’m writing this post is because of the toffee caramel cheesecake it was awesome. I will promise you if we are within 100 miles of this place we are stopping in to get more. It looked awesome and tasted even better somehow.

Loved the lemon scone❤ You can tell Shari enjoys creating her beautiful creations. She also gave a sample of her carrot cake which was yummy. I will definitely stop by whenever visiting Georgetown.

We stumbled across this awesome bakery on the Fourth of July and received excellent service directly from Shari (owner) herself. You can clearly tell she loves what she does and the pies and cakes are masterpieces. Go ahead and treat yourself!

This is an awesome hidden gem in downtown Georgetown! The atmosphere is awesome, the staff is friendly, and the desserts delicious. Plan on coming here regularly when I'm in town! Especially if I am lucky enough to get a cinnamon roll again!

Honestly, THE BEST chocolate chip cookies I have had in my life! Consistently. They should be illegal. It's a bit hilarious that I discovered this bakery because my sister-in-law in El Paso had them delivered to us. I just got this year's Christmas delivery and was inspired to write...I HAD to open the box immediately (SHHH, don't tell the kids! ;))
