Medical Billing of North Texas

These people are trying to collect money for torturing me. I was kind enough not to sue them but I refuse to give them money for torturing me! So to add insult to injury, not only did they send me to collections to hurt my credit they take it a step further and ding my credit even more every chance they get. I have great credit because I pay for services given but I never asked to be tortured!! What is torture? Being awake during surgery because the anesthesiologist didn't use enough anesthesia!! But they don't even consider this. They're mad because I didn't respond to their earlier attempts to collect and honestly the first several I didn't even know who the person was and neither me nor my boyfriend remember being told the anesthesiologist would be billed separately. I paid the $10K+ in cash and thought that covered all included. I am waiting to get a copy of whatever I signed saying I was told this. I have all paperwork given to me two years ago and this paperwork is definitely not in there. Why wasn't I already given a copy of all the paperwork? No matter these people are not kind. They don't care what your reasoning they are rude and just demanding money.

I called in to make payment and I got a person named Mike, he took my account information and when I complained that there wasn't any way of making an online payment he put me on hold, picked up to remind me that he hasn't forgotten about me and that the computer is slow. After a few minutes on hold I called back in from another number and got Mike again who was ready and available to take my account information, I gave it to him and he said I was same person on the other line so he out me back on hold. I called a couple more times and was successful in getting another person who was prompt and helpful in taking my payment. This day and age there should be a way to make online payments and at least an automated telephone option for payments. Instead you can mail it in or call in during normal business hours and they are also closed and unavailable during lunch.

I'm turning these folks into the state of Texas. Do not use.
