Small greasy spoon out of town, the onion rings are phenomenal. Patty melt was top notch, the kids loved there in house made chicken fingers and hand cut fries other kid went breakfast for lunch and it was fantastic. Service was also exceptional.

Everytime we are in the area we eat here. Sadly we live 60 miles away to eat here often. We usually get seafood (cod, shrimp or catfish). I got a chicken friend steak that did not disappoint - it was bigger than my plate, tender and fried to perfection. Get the onion rings. They are Giant hand cut and so delicious. Staff is super friendly too.

This place is amazing! The food was absolutely deliciously tasty, large portions and friendly staff. Ms. Janelle took such great care of our party of 6 today and made sure our leftovers were nicely packed. My father in law got the liver and onions and was highly satisfied. No complaints from anyone including our picky eater, who devoured the mac and cheese! We certainly found our new go to place!

Love this place. The food is always good. It's been a while since I have been here, but I dropped in the other day, and it is still amazing. Everyone here is so nice, and it is peaceful. Highly recommend if you want a good country breakfast or some good old-fashioned chicken fried steak with a side of southern hospitality.

If you love chicken fried steak and chicken fried chicken then this is the place to go! The steak had a good flavor and wasn’t greasy or gristly! The church chicken was so tender and had a great flower. Both gravy’s were really tasty - I like the brown for the chicken. The onion rings were real - not chopped up onion bits but whole rings in a nice light batter! The fries were also real with skin on them and the mashed potatoes were very tasty with white gravy! Breakfast is served all day. This will be a place to bring visitors as well as return to for a meal that is clearly homemade from scratch!!!

I really wish I could give this restaurant 5 stars on everything. The food is outstanding and the portions are so huge! I ordered chicken fried steak and fish and chips. I split it with my son and we couldn't even eat half of it. My son and I love to eat, and we can put some food away. I will definitely be going back and I would like to eat in the restaurant. Last time we got our food to go. And I'm glad we did because the TV had the news on. I don't watch the news while I'm eating, especially since America is in the worst condition in the history of the country! I'm really hope that the news isn't on the next time I go, because I would like to eat in the restaurant.

Hands down the best breakfast cafe in Texas. Great service, huge portions, and delicious food. You may wonder, "What exactly is a Rusty Skillet? The kitchen sink?" And boy let me tell you...

I don't know. Nobody knows. And you'll spend your whole life trying to find out.

What I can tell you is that this magical dish changed my life. Would give 6 stars if possible.

The food and service was amazing!! It was our first time here, we just moved to Willis.. great seafood, hamburger steak, liver and onions, green beans (awesome), steak fingers.. all made fresh to order.. we will be back..

Country boy breakfast, chicken fried steak, eggs, hash browns, toast and gravy lots of food hot and delicious

It’s old and dumpy but that’s part of the charm. We ordered catfish, shrimp, squash, sweet potato fries onions rings and boudin balls everything was fresh not a single thing appeared to be frozen. All was fresh. Highly recommend stopping

When you are here, it feels like you have stepped back in time. The food is good and generous. The staff is nice. I would describe it as home cooking, but I have only had breakfast.

Excellent service and wow, that CFS was amazing! Guaranteed to fill the heartiest appetite. Gravy served in a large bowl and the black-eyed peas are Texas thru and thru! Definitely a new favorite place

We visited the area and decided to have breakfast at this wonderful place! We were a large group and they were able to sit us and serve us amazing delicious breakfast. Our server was so kind and made sure we all had what we needed, other servers helped her and they were all so nice!
Portions were large, tasted delicious!!
This is a local business and if you are in the area Don’t miss out and give them a try! I know next time I visit i will definitely eat here!

Sharon was our waitress. She did an amazing job. The food was great and the portion is big enough to share. Highly recommend this hometown place.

Food was fast for being made fresh and delicious. Waitress was awesome as well. On top of refills without hovering. We will definitely be back once we run out of left overs. Portions are grand for their prices.

They have such a good variety, there is something for everyone. Food was delicious. I've eaten here several times and never had a bad experience. Wait staff is always friendly and pleasant.

Food was great, prices are very reasonable, the service was great also. The chicken fried steak was perfect not a lot of breading so you got more steak. The hamburger steak was huge and cooked well. Small town restaurant with big time taste and value.

The food, and staff was amazing! Super quick. The pic I actually got of my husband's chicken fried steak didn't do it justice, my camera failed me..... so it's half gone in the pic I did get. It took up THE WHOLE PLATE! I had a BLT with a side of fried green tomatoes and sweet potato fries. It was perfection. Plenty of bacon for the lettuce and tomato!

The food was great, and so was the service. The homemade sausage was the best I had ever eaten in a restaurant. They make their own sausage, so I ended up buying 2 pounds to take home with us.
