Holiday Inn Club Vacations Piney Shores Resort at Lake Conroe

Had a great visit here in the winter. There are not a lot of folks here at this time. The stay was great, comfy rooms (we were in room 71), all the amenities you need are available here, the room had everything you need to cook, and even had a blender. Borrowed some grill cooking utensils from the front desk. The gym is clean, the game room is a lot of fun, and everything but the arcade games are free to play. They have activities to do throughout the weekend. The staff was very friendly. I highly recommend going horseback riding. The horses are very gentle and well kept and the staff is very well trained and personable. The put put course is 18 holes and super fun too. We really want to come back in the summer time to take advantage of the kayaks, pools, horseshoes, and being outside a little more.

This is a wonderful resort and, though we were visiting in the "off-season" and there was some understandable maintenance underway in places, we found the accommodations to be great for our needs. Certainly spacious!
WiFi, television and telephone services were down due to a faulty "transformer" on-premises. Within eight or ten hours, services were restored. Friendly and competent staff members made our stay very pleasant.

We had A+ service and accommodations making for the best memories to add to our family! From Rosalyn and Trisha at the front desk to Cheyenne, Derek and Sharon in the Grill to Brandon and Shawn in Maintenance to the front desk ladybug who worked Thursday afternoon and the Activity Ctr staff; service was professional, personable, and consistent. Everyone went above and beyond. With that said, the housekeeping staff needs an applause because our room was impeccable. Now we had bugs but we learned they are lake bugs. This is nature and they do not bite or harm or even come in contact with us. Seeing them inside at times was a nuisance but once we learned from Shawn they weren't mosquitoes, we were all find and didn't let it ruin our trip.

We stayed in the Presidential Rooms (Signature 2bdrm Villa) which give you a FULL kitchen plus another mini kitchen in one of the bedrooms. Similar to an in-law suite with it's own front door. Responsible teens or in-laws would love this feature.

The gym is large with very nice updated equipment. The grounds are beautiful with 3 pools, 1 heated indoor with 2 small whirlpools and 1 extra-large heated & jetted outdoor spa!!! There is putt putt golf, horseback riding, kayaking, paddle boats, fishing and so much more!

We really enjoyed our time here! Stayed to have our Super Bowl watch party thanks to my sister in law. I planned on a different place, and I'm glad she changed my mind! Oh ya, go, Chiefs!!!

Own there it is a silver leaf timeshare that holiday inn bought out but it's still lots of fun and very pretty they did remove the Jacuzzi tubs in the cabins. Also has horse back riding, mini golf, swimming, and hiking and woodsy.

My buddies pre-wedding dinner and post brunch and accommodations were here. It was so nice. The bed was a little squeaky when I was getting down in it but hey that just how it goes when the hulk gets down things smash ok. The room we had slept like 6 people had 2 full bath and a full kitchen with kitchenware bottle openers, counters that can hold a person, and a cool sleigh thing in front of the electric fire. The couch is sturdy. One of the showers was stand-up, but that still works. Dude, there was like 18 towels in there, so many. It was all rainy soaky wet so didn't get to do anything freaky on the back patio but meh. Couldn't share my phone screen with the TVs. Great place. We stayed in unit 105 11/10/23 two nights, woooo.

Hidden gem in Conroe! The scenery is picturesque by the lake. Great activity center. Friendly staff. Clean room but a bit rustic. We enjoyed our stay!

This was our family Christmas vacation and our stay was amazing! Our family was very pleased and we will definitely be back soon

We had so much fun. Gilbert was a great help getting us booked in and answered all our questions. We had a small issue with our and between the front desk and Robert they got us settled in our new room super quick. Trey at the GRILL hooked us up with drinks and great food for our whole stay. Allie in the activity center made us feel like royalty the whole time, pointing us in the right direction for all the fun stuff. Thank to everyone there we had a blast and can't wait to come back!!!

We absolutely LOVE this place. My son has a great time everytime we go. He loves playing basketball and swimming. We even got to make smoores that were delicious.

Spent a week at Piney Shores in Conroe, TX. The three most important aspects of a stay for me are cleanliness, bed/sleep comfort, shower water pressure and temperature…all three of those Piney Shores rate highly in. I was hesitant to book this resort initially but am so happy I took the chance and I’m now looking forward to a return visit in the near future. The lodges are 4 units per lodge, and are quite a ways from the lake, pool, golf, etc. so you will need wheels to get to them. The town of Conroe and the surrounding communities are wonderful to visit and explore. There are ample dining choices nearby and you have a grill outside your unit. This place is so serene and quiet, you can just enjoy the peaceful song of nature. The staff here from the check-in desk to the maintenance and grounds keepers were friendly and very helpful. Highly recommend this spot, it may seem remote but has everything you will need for a wonderful vacation.

We were satisfied with our 7 days stay in this Holiday Inn Club Vacation Piney Shores location very close to anywhere what we needed for.

Places had a lot of bad reviews in the past but I think they have tried to turn it around. And they are doing a good job. Our condo was very reasonably priced. We were able to get it right next to another group of friends we were visiting with. Lots of activities. Staff very helpful.

I loved it.
We checked in 06/25/23 and checked out 06/26/23 but I loved our presidential room.
Our first time staying in a room like this.

We will definitely come back and stay again.

Great place to relax. I loved the location, but we stayed in a cabin extremely dated and small that was the only 👎.

Not very far from Houston you can enjoy water, sun and trees. This place is more than a good option for a family or friends trip. There are quite good number of activities such as Kayaking, hoarse riding, trail ride, wagon ride, swimming and dining. Plus 4 pools, 2 hotubs, 2 volleyball sand courts, activity center, fitness center, tennis court, mini golf and a half basketball court.
The resort also has a bunch of activities that change according to the season.
The food at the "Grill" was very good and you don't have to go out of the resort to get any food.
The rooms were very clean and the kitchen was fully equipped with a very big fridge. Wish they had large TVs with streaming service!
Btw, public laundry is also available
If you still need to do some shopping or want to try some nearby restaurants or if you missed your Starbucks then you can find all what you want within 10-15min drive.
The staff were great and super helpful.

Stayed with my family and the place was clean, quiet and had security. Very large complex and all workers were extremely polite and friendly. The burgers at the Grill were very tasty. Activities like water boarding, restaurants and space Center nearby. Only negative I would say is to have more compassion for your staff working outdoors in the heat cause that is exhausting and takes it toll on their bodies. I felt so sorry for the staff working by the pools for hours in over 100 degree heat with only shade for relief. I wanted to throw them in the pool so they could cool down a little to give them relief as I felt so bad for them and they were all so exceedingly polite you wanted to hug them all. Show them some compassion please and be kind to them as they deserve it. It would show your guests you care about them as I felt they were just forgotten. You have excellent staff and they are your front line so please be human to them. Your indoor workers had A/C relief not your outdoor ones. How about bringing them ice cold drinks or cooling scarves to wear. Working in that heat for hours is dangerous.

Very nice staff and people that I was surrounded by. The view of the lake was great. Loved the pools and the activities as well
