Kelly's Butcher Shop & Deli

A Troy Illinois secret spot directly near the interstate. Featuring a butcher shop & Deli with dine in or carryout options. A great spot with unique specials such as ribs. The atmosphere is friendly and many patrons come many years. I highly recommend this spot to all people located inside the rear of the BP gas station.

Best but her in the area the also opened up a new location inside the new grocery store in Troy. Definitely the place to go if you like bbq steak or exotic meats. They have a fridge full of stuff you won't see anywhere else, like alligator and whatnot, they stock cycles out so they don't always have exactly what you are looking for in that part but it's awesome.

I hadn't been there in years and it was just as good as I remember it of not better. They have all sorts of good stuff ranging from typical beef and chicken to ox,bison,elk,and gator. You can get many types of frozen organ meat such as chicken hearts,gizzards,etc also. It's very reasonably priced if not flat out beyond cheap for some things. I live in st.louos MO and will now make regular stops when able.

Unless you are in the know, you might never think about stopping at this gas station/convenience store for meat but you would be missing out. They are a quality butcher shop (Have personally had their Fillet Mignon and Ribeyes) and also have a deli counter in the back with made to order sandwiches. Recommend Mike's special sandwich. If you are a fan of horseradish, I highly recommend their tavern soft cheese with horseradish and horseradish pickles. Have never seen anything similar and they are spectacular! Both are found in the refrigerator section.

I always eat lunch here if I'm working anywhere in the area. Great food. And if you are a jerky fan you've got to try the homemade pepper jerky. I go out of my way to buy the jerky. It's unbelievable how good it is. Love this place.

They also have an ample amount of produce to choose from.

I would NEVER dare buy meat from Walmart or any place else!!! Kelly's Butcher Shop is the only place I trust for meat!!

Love the quality of pretty much everything! Have try to try something that they make at the Deli or sell that we didn't like or LOVE and awesome fresh meat available from friendly people!
