Yummy Asian Bistro

My wife and I were driving by and decided to pop in for a quick bite to eat. I have to say what a delight it was. Susie the owner and her whole staff are super friendly and the food was delicious. I’m going to definitely come back and recommend this restaurant to friends. Susie Sushi keep doing your thing!

Great place for the whole family. Parents enjoyed the dauntingly large menu. There is primarily Chinese and Japanese cuisine. Everything I tried tasted incredible. I got a rainbow roll and spider roll and both were delicious. With such a large array of food, I highly recommend for large groups as everyone is sure to find something they will enjoy.

The food is outstanding! Family owned and you can taste the love in every bite! I highly recommend! Best sushi in the Chicagoland area by far! I always bring my out of town friends here.

Thought wow strip mall sushi, I don't think so. A week after they opened I gave them a try and was not disappointed. Have not had a bad meal since then. We order from them about twice a month, mostly carry out. we've dined in a few times and enjoyed the fresh tropical drinks, all good. Great to have a place like this close to home.

We have ordered delivery from Yummy Asian Bistro for a while and always been happy. Today we had lunch inside and were very impressed with how fresh and delicious everything was, especially the sashimi appetizer. Very yummy, great delivery and even better in restaurant.

Plenty of dine in specialsAlways fresh and delicious sushi! Hibachi Is top notch. I also highly recommend the Thai iced tea. Fantastic atmosphere and the owners are amazing. Can't say enough good things.

We absolutely love this restaurant and frequent it about once a week during the summer when we can walk to it. Less often with the winter weather. The staff is friendly, the food is relatively quick and consistently good, and we love the lunch specials.
My fiance taught English in Japan for 5 years and of all the restaurants we've tried, these dishes and those at Mitsuwa remind him the most of his time there.
He usually gets the Katsudon, which is a nice fried pork over rice with egg and onion, and it is salty and absolutely delicious. He'll also get the Katsu Curry to shake things up.
I started off my Sushi Kushi journey with the chicken Katsudon, which seems a little less salty than the pork version but still with the yummy egg and onion over rice. Then I eventually tried the divine ginger steak lunch, which I default to when I want that full feeling from red meat or need my ginger fix. If I want something light I'll get the veggie delight or something light with some breaded guilt, the tempura lunch, both delicious. I always get a spicy salmon roll as well, and this may be my favorite spot for it.
I'd also like to note, this is one of the few restaurants we splurge and get appetizers too. We will get the Tatsuta-age, which are like fried chicken nuggets, only here, they don't give you frozen Tyson like other restaurants we've gone to. These are legit, and perfect with a simple drizzle from the slice of lemon included.
We also love the veggie tempura. I'm always surprised at the quality and variety of vegetables included. With what I think are different squashes, onion, sweet potato, broccoli, green bean, mushroom, there's something for everyone, and it always seems like a greater variety than other restaurants.
I also love the agedashi tofu, but I'm a sucker for a nice fried tofu.
I'd give this restaurant 100 stars if I could.

Great fresh food everytime. The sushi is exceptional and the other menu items are superb.. The staff and owners are extremely friendly and attentive. I have some food allergies and they are extremely accommodating..always .. best place around by any measure IMHO

Very diverse menu which is nice, they have some Japanese mainly Chinese and a little bit of Thai. They will customize the heat level on any dish. My Thai Basil had really fresh vegetables the snap peas actually did snap still, so not overcooked.

They are very good about gluten sensitivities , it doesn't affect me but my brother really loves the place because everything can be made gluten-free.

I will be back.

Surprisingly great food, warm attentive family-staff, great deal on an all-you-can-eat with a huge variety. Just don't order too much; there's a charge for leftovers, and the place is pretty darn generous with proportions. Worth it in every regard, though.

The best inland sushi. I have visited thousands of sushi restaurants around the world and it is not uncommon to find some of the best sushi in the region on the coast. However, living in Illinois makes that a bit difficult. YAB is, without a doubt, the best in the area. It is almost an hour for me to drive there and back but is always worth it. Perfectly made shari, the nori isn't tough and chewy like you get at many sushi restaurants around here, but the fish is really amazing. I had given up on finding halfway decent sashimi around here so I was blown away to find great sashimi at YAB. I only recommend YAB if you're in the area. You can't go wrong.

Im a regular to this restauraunt i come here at least twice a week for there amazing sushi and there amazing prices! All the waitresses and waiters are very friendly always on point ur glass will never be empty!! The sushi chefs are amazing there are very friendly as well the sushi its self is really on point always hits the spot! The spicy mayo is just the cherry on top👌

I have a gluten allergy and they are able to make many items gluten-free! The ingredients are always fresh! It is no doubt the best Asia restaurant in McHenry country! I really love their gluten free egg-foo-young!

First time after trying all of the sushi places in LZ/Kildeer/DP area. Very impressed. Spicy tuna was the best. No "special" rolls but the traditional ones were very good and quick service

Great food, great taste. You get what you pay for. This may be a bit pricier than other alternatives for asian food, but I have never been disappointed in the quality/taste. The portions are large as well.

Sushi was amazing! We started with some appetizers and they were all very tasty. The staff was friendly and ot was an overall great experience.
