I drove all the way here because it said they’re open and surprise! They’re closed. Gas prices are too crazy to be messing with people like that lol. Probably won’t be back since I am never in Troy and won’t make the drive when they say they’re open but actually not

The experience I had with one of the owners of this store was absolutely shameful, disrespectful, and extremely uncomfortable. While visiting another locally-owned shop, I witnessed her berating and belittling the owner for well over ten minutes because of a simple miscommunication about an online post for an item for sale. Not only was it entirely inappropriate and a complete overreaction, she kept mentioning that she “owned the Trendy Cottage” and she would tell everyone she knew to avoid their store because “she knows everyone in town” and she is a “well-respected business owner”. The fact that she continued to scold this man who kept apologizing to her over and over again without pause, while I, a customer, was in the store, was shocking. Her behavior was disgusting and I can say that I will be telling everyone I know to avoid HER store and that I think she owes that business owner (and me) an apology for her aggressive attitude over literally nothing of consequence but her pride.
