Very helpful associates and urgently helped us with what we needed. Definitely would recommend this location as it is in the center of Lincoln park and they offer free in store pick up and offer order pick up lockers as well. Again, the associate helped us pick out everything we needed after forgetting our credit card earlier in the day on a busy Saturday.

On multiple visits I have found staff incredibly helpful. There are enough of them present throughout the store. They are friendly and knowledge. The customer service area is also exceptional. Finally, the store is clean and tidy. When read the last time you saw an employee dusting the top of the frame around the elevator door. Free parking makes this my Go To.

TLDR; Outstanding experience! (Paint department). Massive shout out to the amazing worker who was able to help me with my home improvement project. I came to Home Depot not knowing how to paint, and left confident enough to finish the project in one night. The young gentleman working in the paint department on Jan 18th, 2024 ~8p was extremely knowledgeable and gave me amazing advice. My bathroom turned out beautiful!! Everyone I spoke to showed kindness and compassion, which is rare these days.. I now found a new love for Home Depot and am excited to shop at this specific store again (I even came back for more paint!!)

Picked up mini fridge ordered online this week and the associate Marco was so helpful in every way that I was pleasantly surprised with his service. This store has convenient parking deck which helped picking up on a rainy day. This will be my favorite Home Depot going forward!

For being in downtown Chicago, this Home Depot has a pretty great selection for pretty much most of the basic home projects my wife and I take on as owners of a two-flat condo.

We bought a number of plants here that we have been very happy with. The employees were helpful and informative and the process was very painless.

This review is specifically for Wendell in the cabinet department. Wendell spent nearly three hours with us as we found a cabinet plan that met all of our needs. He gave us great advice and was very patient while I asked him to show me many design options for the unique look I was trying to achieve. Excellent service, very professional, and so patient!

After searching for (and failing to find) a dining table that matched what I was looking for, I decided to make my own. I’ve never worked with wood in my life. But Randall helped me out so much — from cutting, to finding the right type of screws, to picking the right stain color. He was so patient and gave awesome advice. And now, after 4 measly days, I have a table I can (literally) call my own, for a fraction of the price(s) I was seeing online! I LOVE IT! Big shout out to Randall for his help, expertise, and kindness!

I have worked with Kurt S. in the Kitchen Design department twice now due to water damage (obviously not Home Depot's fault or this review would be very different) to the cabinets I purchased about a month ago. As a summary, I will never use any other person besides Kurt in future kitchen renovations. He is an absolute pro when it comes to knowing all the tips and tricks to making it easy for an installer, and also ensuring the final product has a seamless and finished look, even on a budget.

Throughout the initial process Kurt was extraordinarily helpful and delightful to work with. I purchased both countertops and cabinets through him, and the project completed exactly like he stated it would.

Fast forward a month later and a leak sprung from a connection to my dishwasher and my cabinets were water damaged (luckily insurance covered). Within only 1 EMAIL, Kurt had already prepared the revised estimate with his knowledge of what was likely water damaged. Not only was he spot on in alignment with the water mitigation company with what needed replacement, but he ensured I was getting all discounts and promotions applied.

I urge all others to seek him out at this home depot if you're looking for a worry-free kitchen renovation experience.

Always have a good experience. The staff is friendly and helpful. This is a smaller Home Depot compared to others but it gets the job done. Glad they are in the neighborhood! Decent plant selection!!

I was helped by Jose behind the customer service counter this evening. I was having trouble printing some keys, but he was able to help me solve the problem and his kindness made my night. Thank you Jose and everyone else behind the customer service desk that helped me!

Had an issue with my bag and bike rack, so I needed to purchase HDX bungee cords, (1)24 & (2) 34 inch, and now my bag is perfectly strapped onto my bike rack. The gentleman, Jerry, assisted me in getting the cords on! I really appreciate his help in this difficult situation! One less problem off my back!

This is a smaller size store. They didn’t have what I needed. Need to go to a larger Hime Depot.

I got keys made, a home depot credit card, nd four plants for the same price as just the keys at another store. Nd the other stores keys didn't work . Home Depot got the keys made nd worked first time.

Staff was amazing friendly, polite, I have special needs they never made me feel anything less than a normal person just trying to get my shopping done with a happy and welcoming addituded!!

I usually dread going to large home improvement stores because you can never find someone to help you find what you need but this Home Depot is different. The moment you walk in there are staff available to direct you to where you need to go. And they don’t just give you directions but will often walk you to the item that you are looking for. This Lincoln Park location surprisingly has a lot in stock and has an amazing flower selection as well! There is free garage parking on site with no need for parking validation. Definitely recommend this location!

The Home Depot on Halstead has excellent customer service. This is one of the only stores that I go to that almost always has someone asking me if they can help me find something. I seldom encounter customer service like this particular location offers. They truly are amongst the very best!

The staff was very helpful, just as I entered the door I was greeted with a smile and asked if I knew what product I wanted. I had my shopping cart, and when I got to the store register, the staff was friendly. She also reminded me of a cheaper product that works better than my regular more expensive ones. The floors were fully stocked and smelled clean
I will be going back soon for their sale prices.
