Just wanted to leave some feedback on my recent experience with Total Insurance in Northbrook, IL. I was referred to an agent Scott Gardner at their insurance company to get me some quote for car carrier exposures. Initially, I spoke to Scott on 11/11/2014 and gave him all the necessary information for a quote. I called him back on 11/17 and he informed me that he "submitted applications last week and should hear quotes this week." Okay, sounds good. Never heard from him again. Wrote a few emails afterward, left a couple voice messages (11/24, 11/26, 11/28, 12/1). Finally, on 12/1, a day prior to my renewal date... I call him about three times, he finally picks up and tells me he has nothing for me. Very unprofessional insurance company who you have to literally hound.

I just found out I’ve been double insured and a lawfirm is pursuing me on behalf of the Insurance provider this company set up for me. I’d let the broker know I wasn’t able to cancel my current insurance. I never signed anything, didn’t even get an invoice. Now I’ll be paying insurance twice for a time we weren’t even open!!

They sent me a fraudulent check and made my bank account negative almost $2000.
