Downers Grove - Lou Malnati's Pizzeria

Graham is the manager and has been an amazing help. i ordered through delivery from their website, and being as i was outside their delivery radius, door dash delivered it. My pizza arrived cold and soggy with the toppings slid off, at no fault to the restaurant. so i called, and spoke to them about it and he was kind and gracious enough to have one of their drivers personally deliver a pizza to me. free of charge. He also offered me a refund. this is what true management looks like, going above and beyond for your customers. thank you graham 🙂

had a pizza delivered by grubhub and it looks like the driver dropped it. One call and Grahm the manager took care of it and started making another one right away. the lost art of customer service. thank you Grahm

Lou’s is my favorites pizza place. While every single Lou’s is always very good, there are always a couple of locations that just have it figured out.

This might have been the best butter crust I’ve tried at any location. And it was cooked to perfection. I feel bad for my gut tomorrow because I can’t stop eating!

No matter how busy they are especially weekends, the girl up front I want to say her name is Kelly… who is always there always has great customer service! Always smiling, confirming orders and having conversations making the waiting time go by pretty quick! She’s a super star and makes this my favorite location. The pizzas are pretty tasty as well. Always get uncut for best quality

Every Lou's location I've been to has served fantastic pizza. Even a basic cheese pizza is incredible. The crust is to die for. Love it when I get take out and the lovely aroma from the pizza fills the whole car. It's pricey for a pizza but worth having from time to time.

Ordering carry outs was quick and easy, food was ready at promised time, piping hot and fresh. They gave curbside service which was great since I was walking on a twisted ankle. The food.....OMG, I LOVE their deep dish butter crust pizza, unsliced keeps it from getting soggy in the center. Try the combo platter appetizer, cheese cubes, cheese sticks, zucchini and breaded mushrooms with Ranch sauce. They have a gluten free pizza also.

Best deep dish in the world and love the canned tomato sauce. Flavor is way beyond any other pizza. I’ve been going to this chain of Chicago restaurants for 30 years. The Downers Grove is the best of them IMO. Not a half inch of cheese with a quarter inch of crust like some of them. Just the opposite and delicious. I think I’m going to get one this weekend!

We have always loved Lou Malnati's pizza for so many yrs. They are friendly and greet you. We have ordered the deep dish and the Thin Crust -good flavor & good crust. My husband needed his pizza special order & it was no problem. Highly recommend.

When you have to have your Chicago style pizza fix its Lou's. The Chicago Malnati's Classic is my go-to. Now I like thin crust, Sicilian style but nothing scratches the deep dish pizza itch like Lou Malnatis. We got a thin crust sausage for my son who isn't a fan of stuffed. We all enjoyed our choices until we were full and satisfied.

I’m so happy to live so close to delicious pizza. The Lou is one of the best deep dish pizzas possibly ever. And the salad/dressing YUMM-O.

The owner even delivered my pizza curbside, in the rain! Top notch!

They make great pizza..lots of parking..probably since it's only carryout..dine in Lou's have a much harder time trying to get a parking spot.. I've been going to Lou's for many years,usually dine in,but when you just want a pizza to enjoy at home this is the place to go

It's Lou's. You can always count on them for the food. I ordered the heart shaped pizza online with the app for you-know-what-day. Picked a time for pickup. Showed up to a crowded lobby area. Staff was hustling and smiling. I gave my name and 2 min later in our the door with my food. Great job always

Food is delicious! While staying in Illinois to visit family, we ate there three times. Food was always good!

The best Chicago pizza you can get by a mile. Their crust is so crispy and the butter crust is to die for. Their bruschetta is so flavorful. And somehow their salads even taste like their bruschetta. Service is excellent. Curbside pickup and ordering was a breeze.

Also very happy to see employees complying with covid orders.

The chain has the best pizza out there. If someone comes from out of town or country, we get them a pizza from here.

This is a carry-out-only location, but the diner at other locations, like Naperville, are the same good stuff.

Polite and courteous staff, pizza is done on time and just the way you ask for it.

Yummy pizza! Great customer service. They are conscientious about the quality they send out and if it isn't to their standards, will make it right. I appreciate that they communicate with any delays or problems with the order. This is a well managed location.
