We’ve been using Smart Vet for around 4 years now and have nothing but good things to say about them. Dr. Peterson is our main vet (love her), but over the years we’ve met a couple of the other veterinarians there when she wasn’t available. They’re all wonderful as are the technicians. They listen, give options, are good about getting you in quickly if necessary, and it is obvious that they care about your pet. They also provide in home vet visits which are always less stressful for our dogs. Can’t recommend enough.

Smart Vet doctors and staff are terrific. Their in-home annual check up service, caring approach, and expertise have made me a loyal customer. I’m particularly impressed that I don’t have to wait for long periods of time during in-office visits and with their immediate attention whenever my dog has had an issue. My dog is fearful of the vet’s office, but their fear-free approach has made all the difference. I have had a great experience every time I’ve interacted with them, along with my dog, since I switched to their office four years ago.

I was very impressed with my first visit. They were very informative and receptive to my thoughts and questions. Aspen was at ease the entire time. I see why my dad has been recommending them! I also appreciated the follow up as it felt very personal. Thank you!

I started coming to SmartVet around 2019 for my former cat, Quinn. They took my concerns seriously with his incontinence issues and offered an ultrasound service to get to the bottom of it and determined he had a tumor pushing against his bladder. They helped me determine when it was time to euthanize him and comforted me through the decision (I felt like a monster determining his fate but he was in pain). They quickly scheduled the appt when I was ready and performed at home which was amazing to bring him peace in his final moments. They also offer clay paw impressions which we opted for to memorialize him in our home ❤

We later on rescued a feral cat in late 2020 who ended up being pregnant. They provided us all the options and walked through kitten health to prep us for the birth. She had 6 kittens and the doctors LOVED seeing them in the office! My bf took them in at one point and apparently everyone wanted to peek in and that made me happy knowing how loved they were there! One of the assistants ended up adopting a kitten so we kept in touch. We ended up keeping two of the kittens along with mama Missy so now we have a beautiful happy family.

Fast forward to two weeks ago and I started a position here at the front desk! The kittens really opened my eyes to what brought me joy and they were willing to take a chance on me with no prior deep knowledge of pet med (I have some other relevant experience so they weren’t just taking any random person in haha). Now I am proud to let people know where I work and what services they provide that I also have experience as a consistent client. SmartVet has changed my life for the better with not just my kitties staying healthy but overall life. Thanks y’all for everything you do! ❤

I love Dr. Atkins!! She has taken such good care of my fluff ball and the other staff are so friendly and caring.

Both of my fur babies are getting older (13 yr. Ryder, dog & 12 yr. Ziva, cat). Everyone is so patient & understanding as the explain services, treatment plans, &after care. I appreciate that they come to my home for routine visits as both my babies have anxiety about going to the vet. I've recommended them many times to family & friends. Everyone who has given them a try are truly pleased with the services provided as well as the professional care given.

SmartVet has always shown my pets and me kindness and caring. When we had to take our beloved dog in to be put down this month, the staff and Dr. Adkins were amazing. Dr. Peterson had been treating him, as he was diagnosed with lymphoma in May. They have fair prices, long hours, and treat you and your pets with the utmost respect. SmartVet should be everyone’s vet.

Spydercat was having issues using the litter box and Dr Walter helped us with some great steps to take and just within a week our kitty turned around and is much less anxious and using the litter box again. Thanks everyone!

Very friendly staff and scheduled visits so you do not feel rushed. They take time to listen and get to know you and your pets.

After receiving her annual vaccine shots our cat was not herslf for about 24 hours. This is not unusual but we were still concerned. I called and let them know. They followed up with us 2x the same day with the offer of bringing her back in if we wanted and then again the next morning. We were so appreciative as our cat was an adopted rescue that has quickly become a big part of our family this past year. ❤

Our baby girl Tinley is a fearful, anxious, aggressive at times little thing. She hates men, she hates strangers, she especially hates the vet. But as you all know- vet visits are essential to their health.

We spent a long while with another vet in town, and the treatment was good but old - never once did anyone recommend anti anxiety or prescribe a new diet for a constant chronic issue.

We walked into smart vet, the techs were ready. Prepared to handle this tough cookie, and she pooped EVERYWHERE. A young tech didn’t bat an eye- she held her in a blanket and kept whispering to her that she was safe, she was okay. We’ve been a few times since and she’s been better every time. She trusts the techs, and we’re so grateful. Smart Vet- is worth every penny! They refill prescriptions quickly, remind you of important appointments, offer advice and care about your pups as their own. 10/10 highly recommend.

The staff at Smart Vet are very compassionate. Dr Laura Peterson and her Nurse that helped put Riley down were very kind to us. I truly appreciate the time and care they took to take care of Riley and make the process painless for us. They let us have our time with Riley after he passed away and I truly appreciate that. It was hard day for us. Thank you for walking us through this process.

We have been trusting SmartVet with the care of our Lab Cocoa for some time now. Always friendly and professional, they are our go-to when we need Vet services.

Sadly my first introduction to SmartVet and Dr. Walter was to send my cat Poker over the Rainbow Bridge. From the moment I made my appointment the staff were so kind, supportive, and responsive. Poker was able to pass very peacefully at home, which is all I could ask for. Dr. Walter was very professional and empathetic during the whole process, explaining exactly what she was doing and what would happen. Afterwards, the staff sent a sympathy card and I was provided a beautiful little engraved box with his ashes to bring home. I’ve had a wonderful experience with SmartVet during a difficult time. Thank you for all that you do for pets and people alike!

We love taking our cats to SmartVet. It's easy to get appointments, everyone is so nice and clearly cares about animals, and the vets explain everything in an easy to understand way. We so appreciate them being able to come out to the house for check up because one of our cats is very nervous about going to the vet. We highly recommend taking your furry friends to SmartVet!

I am so glad that I found this place. The staff are great! The doctor and tech were very nice and gentle with my cat Mitzie. I brought Mitzie into the office. They do have the mobile service as well. I used that service last year for my bigger cat (20lbs) Gizmo. I was very satisfied then as well. If you want awesome doctors and staff, and reasonable prices, you need to bring your animals to SmartVet.

Such an amazing vet! We previously took our cats to another vet in town that wouldn't even let you go back with them for the appointment. Being present for the visit is a much better experience overall, and I appreciate how thorough everyone is when explaining potential causes / issues. They're so sweet to our cats and it makes things way less stressful for them! Highly recommend Dr. Peterson and all of the friendly staff :)

Charles had a rough life before we found him. We don't know what happened to him but somehow, Storm, car or otherwise he got his rear right hip dislocated.

After seeing the chiropractor at Smart vet we found him using the right rear leg to scratch all over! So happy to see his mobility increase after just one visit! See you again soon! 💞🙏🌈

They are absolutely the best. We just moved away and I miss how they loved each of my pets.
