The food here is phenomenal phenomenal! Great atmosphere and the staff is wonderful. We will definitely be back. I ordered the French Dip with steamed vegetables and it was awesome.

Great family restaurant, not many like this left. I had the Kentucky ribeye which was excellent! The kids loved the kids pizza. The staff was very nice.

Very nice place, great food, wonderful service. After the meal I went to the bar and had a great time , the bartender was awesome and extremely funny. Will definitely stop back when in the area.

I really liked this place. It is a bit of a drive for me but well worth it. It's a family owned restaurant with locally sourced ingredients and beers. The ambience was rustic and pleasant with a wood fire burning in the fire place and a stuffed boar head hanging over it. The selection of beers was excellent and I tried some that I haven't seen before. The burger I had was also great. The staff was very friendly and attentive, but not too intrusive and you had the feeling that they genuinely care about their patrons

The staff Michelle and Kristy are always very friendly and professional. The manager Jim is always friendly and attentive. Great place to relax and the food is great as well. Check out the fish dinner.

We splurged.. we had to let our dog cross the rainbow bridge, and this was the perfect place to help with the grief.. Our daughter got the Top drawer burger, hubby and I got the pretze crusted Walleye, we also had the artichoke dip, each had a cup of soup..Chilli, clam chowder. Sit pea with ham..all are homemade from recipes of 45 yrs. We all split crème brûléé and a brownie delight for desert.. this place is wonderful, we sat outside overlooking the pond with the weathered man fishin on his raft. Dragon flies, and bullfrog s.. AMUST place to go.. if I could give more than 5 stars I would!

Walked from our hotel, we were fortunate that the locals wanted to sit inside. We sat outside and got personal service immediately, told us weather today was the best in had been in awhile. Shimp and sandwiches had good flavor and best part prices were very good.

Came with a small group and had some amazing dishes.

Had a 1/2 cheeseburger. Wow grilled onions, fries and onion rings. Oh ya on melted Swiss cheese. One of the best I've eaten in years!

Service was good and the food was delicious. It was a little dark inside than I would have liked but it's part of the country theme I suppose.

The Country House is a great place to have a good burger. Both the Elk and Buffalo burgers are excellent.

This was a delivery but impressive all the same. The Taco salad was meticulously crafted and fresh. Packaging preserved this presentation. Well done. 😊

Great burgers. Not a place to go if you have peanut allergies, as the bar has them on every table. Have been going here or other locations for decades and it has always been a high quality meal.

Beautiful sample plate withhot German potato salad and kraft with great mustard and a Getman Octoberfest beer. What is not to love about that?

Overall, the food is great. The popcorn is really great, almost like movie theaters.

Stopped here after a dr appointment and had the mini chicken tacos and meatloaf. It was fantastic! Oh, and the best iced tea too. Service was great and all staff were friendly. No complaints whatsoever. I encourage everyone to check it out! Finally, Please do tell what brand of tea you use .. 3/24 :Today I called and the girl on the phone told me they buy tea in bulk but couldn't say what brand. Is it a secret? Will call again tmrw to speak to a manager. How does she "Not know?"
