the food was hot and fresh. was not greasy and the kids loved it all. we got the gyoza too and it was just as good as the rest. we used grub hub for delivery and had a great experience!

Zen Express always makes me happy! Tonight marks 30 orders over the last 2 years and I have NEVER been disappointed...not once. I’m actually only upset with myself for not reviewing earlier. I almost always get a version of a loaded up 3 protein bowl when I go and it’s always so fresh and amazing. I highly recommend ordering through their website if you’re carrying out as to take in all the topping items and research the ones with odd names so you know exactly what you’re getting. When you arrive it’s always extra clean and the staff is very friendly. 5 stars and I always recommend to anyone who asks about sushi in town!

All the food is very high quality. All the ingredients have been fresh and delicious. The sushi bowls are a great price for the amount of food and quality ingredients. The building has been immaculately clean every time I've been in there. There is literally nothing bad I could say about this place! Definitely give them a try if you like sushi!

I was excited about the idea of a sushi bowl because I have never heard of anything like that before, and being a sushi enthusiast, I felt that I had to try it out! It was absolutely delicious. I got a sushi bowl with tuna and salmon. The meat was fresh and there were MANY toppings that you could add for free. I went back the next day for dinner! I couldn't resist myself. The staff is also very friendly and fun! The restaurant is very clean and modern. The pricing is actually very reasonable for what they offer. Overall, this place is five stars for me!

I come here often and have never been disappointed. All their food tastes fresh and the staff are all very nice. I put almost every ingredient in my rice bowl and it's always good. Also recently tried their zucchini noodles and they're great too! Dine in, take out and delivery and they are always so delicious and healthy.

I have eaten here twice now and absolutely love it! Both times I ordered a sushi bowl. The food is great and the price is good too. The staff is also always super friendly! My first visit there I did not know what to get, and the staff was very patient with me and engaged in good conversation while I made up my mind.

Wonderfully tasty food. Build your own sushi bowl. Great tofu! Went with our parents who lived in Japan for 10+ years, they loved it! You can’t go wrong with mixing any of the sauces. Yum Yum, Poke and the Teriyaki Sauce was great together.

Absolutely wonderful. Seriously. The food is delicious, the restaurant is clean and the service is friendly. What's probably the best part of Zen Express is the prices of their food. It's AFFORDABLE hibachi, and sushi bowls, that are outstanding when it comes to freshness and flavor. Family owned and operated. ❤

In the numerous times I've been to Zen Express, I've only had their sushi bowl because it is worth the repeated visits. I compare Zen Express to Jimmy John's. The price point is similar (a sushi bowl, with tip is slightly over $10), it's quick and there is an option of delivery, the quality is great for what you pay for (I feel healthy after I eat there and it's been an option for a post-workout meal). You can customize your own bowl with a lot of options in protein, vegetables, sides and sauces. In the past couple of months since I've heard about it, I've enjoyed it so much that I've become a regular!

My best friend and I came here randomly on a road trip to Missouri. We stopped in. I myself had a sushi bowl with chicken my best friend had the grilled vegetarian meal. Both meals were absolutely delicious and very filling. The staff was also very friendly. We will return

I LOVE this place! The sushi bowl is so good I can’t get myself to try anything else! Ordered many times and never had a single issue! The other thing I’d like to point out is how clean it is! Keep up the great work!!

Good food, friendly people and decent ramen

WOW! The sushi bowls here are an incredible value. It's like 4+ rolls' worth of delicious sushi ingredients for the price of one. (It's comparable in size and price to a burrito bowl at Chipotle.) Two proteins and unlimited mix-ins for under $10. I've been back several times (for the sushi bowl), and the ingredients have always been very fresh. Service is consistently fast and friendly also. I think I'll take my sushi "deconstructed" from now on!

Went with some coworkers who ordered chicken and rice while I had a sushi bowl. I crave it again already! I had salmon and tuna with zucchini noodles. So tasty and fresh. Lots of toppings to choose from, and my favorites of eel sauce and spicy mayo were perfect. My coworkers loved their meals, too!

We are regulars here and love it. Fresh food, massive portions, awesome customer service. Love the unique options that other Asian restaurants in town don't offer (sushi bowls are great).

Great service and awesomely great food! Had the steak and chicken combo and it was delicious! If you like Kobe’s in the Mall, you will love this place! I hope they stay in business as the location they are at might cause people to not notice them. Highly recommended!

I decided to stop by for lunch since it’s near my place of work and wow. I’m pretty basic so I called ahead and ordered a General Tso’s Chicken with white rice. A arrive and I was promptly greeted, let them know I called ahead of time and placed an order to go but asked if I could just dine in and they said that’s fine. After getting my food I picked one of the many tables in the dining area which I must say was really nice! Their interior and lighting was just perfect. Now for the food! Every time I’ve ordered General Tso’s Chicken in the past from other restaurants, the chicken is already in the sauce so it was odd at first glance that the sauce was separated in a different container from the chicken. Everything was so AMAZING! The chicken had a perfect crisp to it and tastes so good and fresh. I didn’t come across a single piece of ‘sketchy’ chicken that was chewy that I had to spit out. I say this because this does happen to me at other restaurants and I almost lose my appetite when it happens as I’m very picky when it comes to my meats. The General Tso’s sauce itself was perfect as well, definitely the best I’ve had! This is my new go-to restaurant! I could not be happier, excellent food, great prices, beautiful interior, a very clean nice restroom and roomy dining room. 5/5!

So happy to have finally explored this delicious place in the neighborhood. Enjoyed the Sushi Bowl with Yum Yum Sauce. Choices of protein cover everything you might expect. This is an excellent choice for Asian food and atmosphere.

Whether you want healthy (or not) this place is a great choice. They have great sushi bowls with fresh ingredients. It's about $8 for a sushi bowl and you can choose zucchini noodles or rice and can make it vegan, keto, vegetarian or meaty. I love their steak yaki soba and their ramen. I can't say that I've been disappointed.
