Small place great food and service. I just didn't like people smoking outthe door and smoke coming in. (EX smoker opinion) Clean place clean restrooms. Food prices and drink prices are good. If in the area again I will definitely stop again.

Yum. Fish fry. Fresh flaky fish with light breading. Not greasy at all. The slaw, not sure if they make it in house but it has pieces of apples. So good and crisp. The potato pancakes were delicious, again not greasy. The owner actually sat and chatted with us. Friendly place.

Great little place, obviously known for the burgers. It did not disappoint, had the regular cheeseburger. And for the price it's unbeatable! I will definitely be back.

I ordered a Grilled Chicken Wrap and Sweet Potato fries. It was delicious! I'm here for work and needed some good food in the area, this bar didn't disappoint. Definitely recommend if you need good food in the area!

We were driving through Marengo and saw this little gem and decided to stop. Is a great little dive bar. Beer was cold, had great drink selection, the bartender was great as well. We got the jalapeño burgers, they were awesome, cooked perfectly and had a nice little kick. We preferred the onion rings to the fries but both were good. Met the owners and they were great, sat down and talked to us. We will definitely be back, and highly recommended if you are around. And the prices were amazing given the quality and quantity of food!

Stopped after reading reviews driving past the area and the reviews were dead on right this time. Great stop for a massive 3/4lb very well cooked burger, cold beers and super friendly bartender (Kelly) and a super friendly couple who own the place, friendly people at the bar..real nice place to go. Worth the stop for sure.

Great burgers, great service. It's not fancy. If you're in Marengo it's worth checking out.

Awesome Tuesday night special....75 cent Drafts and tacos. Will be back to try the burgers which looked awesome. Service was outstanding.

Stopped by for a delicious burger and cold beer. Had been 5+ years since my last visit, place hasn't changed much, outstanding burger, cold beers, and a friendly bartender, I don't need much more to be happy.

We go for the 50 cent barbecue on Thursday but they have a full menu too.
Good food, good service, nothing fancy. The Spot is your typical bar with a long bar and a few tables. We will be returning.

This is a great local bar! The patrons and bartenders are very nice. The drinks are the cheapest I've seen in the area. I didn't eat, but the wings and sandwiches looked awesome, and from the folks I've asked, it all tastes very good. Looking forward to making it back and getting some food.

I just went here for the first time with a client of mine(I am a local realtor in the area), and I was very impressed with this establishment. Not only were their prices incredibly reasonable, but the food was delicious, and the staff was friendly and accommodating. Definitely a good and easy-going environment, and I will definitely be back!!

Nice hometown type establishment with food and drinks. Have about 4 gambling machines that I'm not familiar with due to Illinois laws. Haven't lived in IL since early 80's. MN has pull tabs in the bars and you have to go to reservation casinos otherwise for gambling. Friendly local people. Moved back 3 wks ago and was my 1st night out with a sister n her friends. Good time with karaoke. I have never seen so many talented people who could sing! in one place! It was great. Until some fool turned my name in for a song I couldn't sing... I'm not good at it...lol but did it anyway for fun n asked folks to help me, please! 😂👍😁

Moved out of town, but happy to see the burgers and wings haven't changed! Still excellent food and service!

Awesome burgers! Friendly staff, it is a small town kind of bar and not exactly a diner type place so don't listen to the haters who post here complaining. The food is still great bar food. Friday fish fry is epicly good.

Burgers are big and delicious, paired with the tator tots equal a large meal. BLT and homemade Nachos very good and pricing is very good. Eaten here several times with no disappointment.

A weekly stop for my group of 4 or 5 for a year or more and even longer for myself. We have always been very satisfied with the food and service. Prices are very affordable and and the staff has always treated us well. Great specials everyday. Definitely worth your time to stop in for a simple snack or a full meal.
