Bloomington-Normal Marriott Hotel & Conference Center

We had a fantastic stay at Marriott-Normal,IL, but what truly made the experience exceptional was the incredible service we received from Almond and Mia.

From the moment we arrived, they were both incredibly friendly and helpful. They went above and beyond to accommodate our large family, especially at breakfast. They arranged for us to have a private room, which was a lifesaver with all the little ones! It made our mornings much more relaxing and enjoyable.

Almond and Mia's attentiveness and positive attitudes made a real difference in our stay. We can't thank them enough for their hospitality! We highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a great place to stay with exceptional service.

Oh mg. I love this place. It was great to be around good mature, responsible, respectful adults! I would choose this place again and again. Wish I could live there. Would be well worth it! It was such a fantastic, excellent experience of customer service. FINALLY! I can breathe being around MATURE ADULTS. It felt great because they can relate to the treatment. Not being nice just to get your $$$! Almond provided upscale CS numerous times and was always on top of things. I know this woman would be BEST at being CEO,COO or CFO of a corporation or better yet a FANTASTIC LANDLORD/LANDLADY. Front desk was very helpful as well. GREAT CS ALL TIMES AT THIS HOTEL!

I had a great experience at this hotel. Room was in good shape & the concierge lounge had a really nice hot and cold breakfast spread (shout out to the lady in charge of the breakfast in the lounge, she was fantastic).

The location can't be beat as it's right in the heart of Normal and on the college campus. Walking distance to several good restaurants.

The front desk staff (in particular Jill & Kate ) were awesome. Jill & Kate provided excellent customer service. They were both very accommodating and provided me with great friendly service.

Even if we had a problem, they were able to quickly resolve.

This was our 3rd visit in the past 2 1/2 months. And with each trip, the service they (and Lauren- when she was here) provided was impeccable. .

Great service, clean rooms and breakfast was amazing. We loved our restaurant supervisor. She was very helpful and helped make us feel welcome! Would definitely stay here again.

We had an event on campus and rented out the back room for an after event celebration and the staff was very great to work with, very accommodating to our big group. Had some food confusion because of our big group but they worked through it with us. It was a great experience for our crazy bunch

What's not to say. I had a really long Amtrak layover, so I rented here. The rooms are exquisite! Very clean and spacious. The staff were all extremely friendly and helpful! For the price you simply cannot complain. And the food n beverage bar has some of the finest food I've EVER eaten! You simply must stay here. Such comfort and fine cuisine!

Maya checked us in. She was very attentive. It was New Year’s Eve and the hotel was not busy, so my husband ask if there might be an upgrade available. She said she could put us on the 9th floor with a king bed. When we got to our room we had a wonderful surprise. We were put in the presidential suite.
We both thank Maya for her generosity and told her how much we loved the room.
Maya also recommended a place to eat dinner and mapped how to walk there.

Our stay was for a family member having surgery. we needed to stay a couple of days before. the staff was very nice and welcoming, got to order breakfast off the menu, and it was very good and hot. The hotel needs to have a discount for those who stay for medical procedures. The hospital is very close, so I'm sure it would have the business. It's not very far to get something to eat and some shopping.

The ninth floor VIP lounge is a true gem and very nice place to start the day or finish in the evening. Breakfast in the morning and snacks at night. All with a view from the ninth.

Not my first stay...Hopefully not the last!!

I stayed for a work event and had a fantastic time. The room was clean. The bedding was clean. The temperature in the room was perfectly controlled by an automatic thermostat that was preset when I arrived.

It was about 50° outside, but perfect in my room the entire time. With no dry nose, I did not have to touch the dial. Elevators run smoothly quickly, and free water is available in the lobby.

Excellent customer service answered all questions and checked in with a smooth and easy-for-work event. Plentiful hot water, nice bath, and shower pressure will stay in the future.

We enjoyed the Easter Brunch, and the experience was more than we anticipated.
The staff was absolutely delightful, and the food was delicious.

I stay here frequently for business, it's my home away from home. The staff are always courteous and willing to help. Rooms are always clean and presentable. Looking forward to the updates coming soon!

The front desk staff here are RockStars!!! Kate Kuria, Chelsea Smith, and Joseph Rangel took care of us. Kate handled all of our craziness as we took over thier hotel with loads of students every where. Chelsea and Joseph took care of me the rest of my stay. Also the woman that works in the restaurant was like a one woman show. She was a machine of kindness and customer service. Her name is Almond. Kudos Marriott for having them on staff! They are the reasons for these stars!

Almond was serving the floor for breakfast. Her service is next to none! Probably the most genuine service I’ve had. Makes you have that breakfast in peace with a smile on your face, food was good too.

Room and facilities are okay.

Very convenient location for high school tournament, parking was easy. Appreciate Byron's help setting up additional bed and sharing a good restaurant for post game meal!

Almond Joy, Angela Davis, & Kai were amazing. Kai made our evening relaxing and Almond & Angela made our morning fun and ready for the day. Good job ladies. Thank you

I want to thank Deb at the front desk for taking care of the hot water issues resolved. My husband and I were there for a conference and the first morning we showered with luke warm water and when I heard from others in our conference with the same issue I spoke to her and she immediately called the engineer while I was with her and by that evening all was great. Lol, a lot of us were kinda late the next day to the conference since we took a wonderful longer shower enjoying the hot water. So again, thank you, Deb 😉

Marriott in normal is at a very convenient location. Their hospitality is great and I have had good experiences with it. Parking is also a convenient feature as the lot is connected via a bridge. Room services are great. They serve food in the evening too at the concierge , which has improved significantly of late thanks to Mr. Michael Herman - Banquet manager and hospitality manager- who I had the pleasure of meeting. Janet provides the concierge services with smile on her face.
The staff is very supportive. A good place to stay, I will say. Breakfast needs to improve, if I have to add.

Huge shout out to Ricky~the fun bartender downstairs in the restaurant! He was super friendly, accommodating and made our lunch fun! He does everything there! 😃
