Tipton Park

Love this park. Nice splash pad, excellent playgrounds. Plenty of shade. Bathrooms are good. We go here 3/4 times a week. The kiddos love it.

Wonderful park, bathrooms are right next to the playground, they have two charcoal grills available (in a very sunny spot, bring something for shade if you can). You can rent half of the shelter (4 or 5 tables) or the whole place (8 to 10 tables). You can also use the shelter if no one else reserved it. There are tables outside the shelter too that are first come, first served.
The Splash pad is small, but kids like it. It is great that it is right next to the playground. This time, some of the Splash pad parts were not working.
There is also a basketball court, big space for playing.

Back when I was in my mid-twenties back in the early and mid 90s. I worked with a guy named Jimmy McDaniel one of my best friends and in turn we work for a man named Rod Roof. Back in them days things was a little bit different that was back when that whole entire area Bloomington-Normal was nothing but either cornfield and being filled or patches of timber here and there wasn't a road one you could see for miles and miles and maybe see a couple houses if that it was unreal how that country is changed up that way. Build a lot of different types of housing up their houses apartments condos you name it we done all that back then. That was back when a lot of new ideas and things were coming out about technologies and cellphones were popping left and right won't even know smart phones back then Nextel was a big thing. Cost of living was cheap living was pretty good and easy. Add a lot more time to go hunting and fishing spend with the family been with your friends sitting by a fire on a keg. Oh yeah there was a good old days 😎❤✌🆒

Tipton park is so awesome! The splash pad was a big hit for all the kids we had with us. We came with our friend and he child and our children 4 total ranging in ages from 1-18 and everyone had a blast. It really a very cute park that is farm themed! We drove an hour and a half and visited the discovery museum right before heading to tipton park to eat lunch. If you haven't you should definitely check out both places🙂

It is a beautiful park landscaped to look like a natural prairie with paved walking paths and fishing areas. Convenient parking and good fishing for bass and sunfish.

Nice place to walk, jog or ride a bike. Can fish if you'd like. Just wish that bikers would announce on the right or left. No electric bikes allowed.

My kids always love to go to this park! Many things to do.. Play ground.. Basketball courts.. & water park! Plenty of sitting areas! Always a fun time for the kids!

Great little park. We stopped on a road trip. Plenty of tables to have lunch & nice bathrooms. Cute barn theme playground.

great park with play equipment/splash pad for kids. two ball diamonds (one with a fence), three basketball hoops, lengthy paved walking/biking trail that connects to Constitution Trail that runs throughout Bloomington/Normal. There is also a stocked lake around the opposite side from the playground and ball diamonds.

This is huge park with plenty of play area space for kids.
If you are visiting in summer don’t forget to get an extra pair of cloths for your kids as there is a big beautiful water play area which kids can’t resist.

Plenty of parking space and neighborhood is also very calm and peaceful.

If you have kids then this should be the must visit place with kids. 😊👍

Nice walking trails with plenty pig nature to see and hear. Super clean.

Awesome place for little ones to run around and get wet! the small water park is super neat and is a must!

Only two in town but they are fun I'm sure a local artist would paint for free

Our cub scout group came here for a 3 mile hike to earn their achievements. Kids loved it my son said his walk went great and they learned a lot and socialized. After the walk they enjoyed the lovely playground for a little while. Great day to get them out of the house and doing something instead of staying in thinking about covid. Highly recommend a trip there if you have not been. Great pavilion also!!

Very clean and in a nice neighborhood. Bathrooms are close by and clean as well. Our only drawback was there were no other children there for my granddaughter to play with. We must have picked an odd day to go. She had a good time anyway. We will go back!

Love the bike trail, water features, playground. Also enjoyed the ball diamonds for baseball and softball. They have a large open field (mowed) that can be used for other games. Restrooms and pavilion are clean.

This is a fun family friendly park with some water activities too, kids enjoyed it, and pretty busy as a lil park. Nice big parking lot too.

Very nice park for the whole family! They have more than one baseball field! They have a park! Walking trail! Bathrooms, a pavilion to have family get togethers or bbq's! They have a park and a water park! Its a very nice and neat park! Very fun for everyone! Near a nice neighborhood! They also have the red spin chair which we make a thing to do every year and noone is to old to be pushed or spinned in it! Great park!

Great splash pad for younger kids and toddlers! I was impressed by how much seating and shade there was. Great local park!

Great equipment for my three year old, but I can easily see (and usually do see) much older kids enjoying the equipment, as well. The splash pad is excellent in the summer and it is always clean.
