Mother Murphy’s is a cool spot! They have a great organized incense selection, crystals and smoking pipes and local glass blown pieces. The associates are kind and welcoming and incredibly informative! Great place with even better vibes.

Mother Murphy's is a spot above the rest. Very old school vibes once you walk in. Everyone there is awesomely nice and very helpful. They are all also experienced and can provide more insight on products that you might not get at any other shop in town. I've been going there for a decade and plan to be a frequenter for decades to come. Long live Mother Murphy's!

Great place to go for great shirts, incense, silver jewelry, posters, - materials, vintage band memorabilia and skateboards (for my grandson!) been going to Mother Murphy's since it existed! Have signed the famous wall every time they have painted it!❤ support all local businesses!

This is honestly one of my favorite places in uptown normal. There are so many things here that you world never even know you needed. They have tapestries here, some that are black light reactive and some they are even 3D-ish (with the right glasses, which you can buy there for like 2 dollars). If you like to smoke then this is definitely the place for you. They will have everything you need. Say you don't smoke you will still find so many things that catch your eye you'll want to come back for more. That's only one part of the store, they also sell skateboards/ longboards here too. Say you like to actually build your boards they can provide all the parts for you to do so.

Mike and his wife (owners) are the best. Have been stopping by for years, and the atmosphere is exactly what you'd expect from an old school headshop. A local treasure, for sure!

Mother Murphs! This place requires a visit if you're new to Normal and acclimating to the environment. Neat tapestries, neat glass artwork, all sorts of crafts and skate stuff. Owners are the coolest people you'll meet in your life, likely as not :j Go there, buy stuff, talk to folks, you'll have fun!

This place is open 7 days a week which is out standing! Mother Murphy's has been your hippie hookup for nearly 50 years! And has been accompanied by shockwaves skate shop for your convenience.

Is it cool little head shop in downtown normal. It's fun to walk around and look at the things they have on display. The employees are extremely friendly and down-to-earth.

They have been doing there thing in Uptown Normal for many many years. This is one of the original Head Shops in town. When you go in there it feels like you are going back in time to 1968.

Very cool stuff! The guy who owns it is always there when I come in and he is so nice, you can definitely tell he enjoys what he does!
