URW - Ultima Race Works

I can not say enough good stuff about James and his team. From right when I first walked in he treated me like family. He stood there and answered all my questions I had. I brought my own parts but the attention to detail is amazing at this shop. There were 2 other things wrong with my truck and they were able to fix it. So happy they actually looked over the whole truck. And my engine bay looks amazing! Thanks guys. Will be coming back with anything I have!

URW is by far the most well put-together and professional performance oriented shop I've ever seen and/or had experience with. I had a good amount of work planned to be done at the shop and Ben was quick to provide me a tour when I first visited. The shop is so clean, staff is all very professional, and the overall feeling you get after a short time of interacting with them is that you will be 100% taken care of. The high-dollar cars and complexity of the scope of work being done in that shop speaks volumes as far as what other customers are entrusting the shop with as well, which certainly helps show that they know what they are doing and can be fully trusted. Rates are super fair, work is done quickly and efficiently, and the daily customer communications were all some of the top reasons for my 5 star review, but the overall experience and the work they did was top-notch. Can't recommend URW enough and will definitely be going back!

Had my car on the Dyno. Not a very knowledgeable guy when is comes to cars. So James took some time to explain how some things work with the Dyno. He was professional and patient. Will definitely look to him in the future.

Brought my 2020 sti to urw for a dyno tune for the 2nd time and was absolutely pleased with the work that they do! Very reputable/ knowledgeable tuner and very professional as well as the employees. Definitely recommend to anyone tuning their vehicle/ getting car worked on

Brought in my Evora 400 for an alignment. James at URW was very professional and courteous, and really took the time to get the alignment just the way I wanted it. I felt very comfortable leaving the car in James's care, and will pass along URW's information to my friends.

Ben and his team did a great job in covering a multitude of repairs on my 240sx. Ralph was very communicative in the work he performed and the steps he took to ensure the job was done correctly. We spent the day there, as my car (240s lol) was having some unforeseen issues. Taylor and the shop puppy Meeka kept us company. Will be returning for future work with my other vehicles. Had a weirdly quick leak in my passenger rear tire, called to see if I could get it looked at and they got me in same day.

Had urw do my 8.50 cage and aftermarket dash in my 1979 malibu. Came out excellent. 5/5

I scheduled an appointment for a baseline dyno. I got there a few minutes early and they were waiting for me. The place is immaculate and well organized. I had a few questions that were answered in clear easy to understand language. The dyno is in a separate area that has a large window with seating so that you can watch it being done. Mechanically sharp staff with A+ people skills. The ENTIRE experience was A+++
I could not be happier.

10/11/23 UPDATE
Went back for a second dyno run after I added an upgraded turbo and a downpipe. They welcomed me back (by name) and took me right in. Same experience as my first visit—
P-E-R-F-E-C-T.

Between the amazing attention to detail work they perform and the continuous updates, The whole team at URW makes for an awesome experience every time I visit. They got my corner balance & alignment spot on and other maintenance services were completed in a very timely manner, and everyone there is super friendly. Highly recommend 100%!

Very pleased with their work. Very knowledgeable staff and pleasant to work with.
Cleaned up items that the BMW dealer didn't do when they last worked on the car when I brought it in for an estimate on other work. Found items that should be done in the future the dealership didn't point out on a visit 2 weeks earlier.
Would highly recommend URW and use them in the future. Prices very competitive.

James and Ben went above and beyond to diagnose why our 2014 Infinity Q60 would not pass emissions. After visiting multiple repair shops including the dealer we were referred to URW by another performance shop that did not work on Infinity vehicles. These guys figured out the problem, did some needed preventative maintenance on the car, put it on the dyno and tuned it up for us. We are very excited about the results and owe a ton of gratitude to these guys. This is a top notch shop with genuine people who are there to help in a pleasant way… We will be returning to have them do more of our work in the future.

They did an excellent job fixing/replacing broken parts of a subpar oil cooler system I had installed. They did an excellent job setting up the cars alignment. They also made a beautiful header back exhaust system and also did an amazing job installing a bucket seat and belts. They also were able to save me from myself when I was ready to pull the hvac system out of the car completely and were able to fix the issue. Would recommend working them.

Excellent all-around experience. I came to Ultima for a quick battery change after a few friends recommended it. Their prices were significantly better than the dealer, and they explained the entire (complicated) process on the car as I was curious to see how difficult it was. Although I only had a quick battery change, I envision using their maintenance and other services whenever I can in the future. Highly recommend.

URW is a super great shop! Taylor got me in to give my newly bought STI a thorough inspection and the crew found a lot of issues that the dealer is now fixing. Ben explained everything to me patiently and thoroughly. I can’t recommend this shop enough!
