Great job! Nice people. As highly skilled a team of automotive mechanics as you're ever going to find. Thurlow's has been around for a long time, and you won't get a fairer deal than from Dave Thurlow. They did some quality work on my car at an extremely fair price, and I couldn't be happier. Only one bay though, so expect to consider your self lucky to get in quickly, because with this kind of service they're probably pretty busy in this small, quality, local shop.

Great customer service and very knowledgeable staff and owner. They helped me get my car back on the road fast with no problems and for cheaper than the local competitors. I only go to Thurlows now if I need anything done. I also tell my friends and family about them too.

5 garages/people couldnt figure out what was wrong with my durango and why it was making an awful noise. This man identified the issue and fixed it and i have had zero problems with my truck since then. A different mechanic recently worked on it... i spent $1800 at this other garage in order to get a sticker for my truck and now its been over heating. This other garage sucks. I will be bringing my truck back to Thurlows because he is the only person who has fixed my truck properly.

I had to have my transmission and rear differential replaced several Times after coming into contact with this shop. They don’t know Subarus well AT ALL they didn’t even know that the rear diff contains the retaining clip to hold the axles. Instead of looking it up they closed up shop and kept my car for the weekend even after I fetched the brand new axles for them to put in and then had to convince them that the clips were inside by pointing at them and they still denied it finally they put the axles in and I got my car back the following Monday. Brought it to a Subaru dealership for inspection and come to find out this place cut corners putting the car back together. Missing nuts and locking washers everywhere. My starter motor didn’t have a nut on it. It was just hanging off the bolt only. If I were you I would STAY AWAY.

Called on Monday to have a blown brake line replaced, explained exactly which line needed to be replaced and where the leak was located. I was told it would be on the lift tuesday morning first thing. Waited 24 hours and received no call. Called wednesday at noon and was told they were “just about to call me” and that they refused to do the work. When asked why, I was told because if one was replaced they would have to do them all. When asked for a quote they couldnt give me a solid answer but was told It would be in the ballpark of $1200-$1500 (almost $1000 more then my mechanic quoted me) and they would have to find out how much the parts would be from Sebago Lake Chevy. This insinuates the mechanic had not called yet regarding parts. When I opted not to have the repairs done I was told there would be an $80 “diagnostic” fee. When i asked why I would be charged a diagnostic fee when I diagnosed what exactly needed to be done I was told “I had to call around and find out the price for parts, and for having it on the lift.” So not only were they contracted to do a job and refused, but even when I diagnosed the issue Im still charged for them lifting it and looking at the lines and agreeing… Had my transmission done by them months prior and was never stuck with a diagnostic fee. Sad these guys dont understand good customer service, hell charge me half price even, I would of been fine with it. I see why they were the only garage with openings..

Horrible place to bring your car, they will take every cent you have plus not fix the issue.

Worst place to bring your car. Toom four weeks longer than promised, $3700 more then quoted and the car still did not work the way that it was supposed to. I had to sell my car and take a loss because of the work that this so-called company did. terrible customer service and lies all the time, I would never bring anything here EVER!
