Honestly, I was skeptical when we first pulled up..as soon as we walked through the door, the service was absolutely incredible 🥰 the whole staff crew made the place a calm, relaxed and a comfortable spot. the chips and salsa were immediately brought to our table, and it was the best salsa I had ever had! You can deff tell the food was fresh. Our food was brought out quickly, and our server was fabulous. we unintentionally ordered a crazy amount of food. The portions are pretty big, and prices were great. I will certainly be going back!

Oh my gosh!!! I have to say this is my new favorite Mexican restaurant!!! I love Mole, and most places give you about a half a cup of it on your chicken. Not here!!!! My burrito was full of chicken and rice then topped with so much delicious mole!!! My husband loves fajitas and absolutely loved his!!! I highly recommend and know for sure that we will be back!!

Went to celebrate some great news, our waitress Vicki was very attentive and gave us some great recommendations. The margaritas were bug and strong; made the way they should be, the corn chips and salsa were a great way to start our meal. We squeezed some fresh lime juice into both, made it even better. We split a plate, was way more than enough for us and was hot and incredible. I usually dont eat alot, but it wad so fresh, and delicious i couldn't get enough of it. Great seating, love the look of an old school diner, wasn't busy at all, and well worth the trip and money. Stop by you wont be let down, theres something for everyone including vegetarian food.

Servers are so nice and fast, portions are big, and the food is Mexican comfort food at its best. We have never been to a Mexican restaurant that’s an old diner, but we’re glad we tried it out because now we come here weekly.

We are regulars here, and we could never ask for better service!! Bogey is the absolute best, he knows our drink order by heart and brings it right to the table for us! If you are looking for a fantastic meal and amazing service this place is for you!!

Service was excellent. A great concept mixing diner with authentic mexican. The food was great with the only exception being the guacamole salad which wasnt really a salad (it was just a glob of guac on shredded lettuce). Definitely will come back.

I go here often, maybe twice a month. I always look for the infamous hole in the wall, which has the best close to authetic food with nice well drinks. I'm looking for affordable.
I like to ride my motorcycle to grab an easy, fast lunch. Just enough to warm my belly, serve my soul, and hit the road! I drink water while traveling. We need to keep the swelling fires at bay, Ride on, 'Ghost Rider'.

Love love love this Mexican restaurant. They always start you off with warm chips and homemade salsa. The portion sizes are huge. Everything we have ordered has been delicious. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone passing through Raymond. Fun and friendly atmosphere.

Every single item is prepared with love. Fresh quality ingredients that melt in your mouth. I urge you to try something new that you never had before. This will not disappoint

So happy to have this place back up and running! The food was awesome. Only down side is no more drafts there. Get the mole it's unlike anything else.

Great authentic Mexican food and the most adorable diner car that is well kept! Staff was friendly too. Would highly recommend the soup on a cold night.

Ok, I don’t normally love Mexican food. But recently, we were looking at our dining choices approaching 9pm and settled on La Mexicana. Boy, what a great place! The margaritas were tasty, the chip and salsa fresh, and the chimichangas were so delicious. My wife had poblanos and raved about them. La Mexicana is now a favorite. We’ll be back.

Best Mexican Restaurant outside of LA (Los Angeles) / Mexico.

Random browsing for tacos on Yelp, I stumble across this gem of a place. Let me start by saying that Mexican food is my favorite type of food, I lived in Los Angeles for 10 years, and I’ve been to some great places in Mexico. This is my wheel house. And this place is the real deal.

Table side (fresh made) guacamole, taco had a perfect proportion of ingredients, flavorful carnitas, burrito - beyond words. Everything leaving the kitchen was perfectly done.

This place has some of the best Mexican food I've ever had. Every time I come here I am amazed at how good it is.
