Hannaford

I love the small footprint of this store. It has a good variety of all the essentials, without being completely overwhelming. It's always easy to get in/out, and it's one of the cleanest and best organized Hannaford stores. Always friendly staff too!!!

The manager of the baker was super busy all day and was just starting to make cakes . I was looking for a chocolate birthday cake(I forgot to order ahead of time) they only had gold she was AWESOME and whipped up a cake for me for my son's birthday in 10 to 12 minutes. She is the reason I give 5 stars!!! She deserves recognition!!!

Be there in a while it just seems to get better every time I go love their lettuce grown rate in New Gloucester Maine, plastic containers, organically grown, and very tasty, and very affordable, check it out

Love the self checkout. The staff recognize me and we're on a first name basis. I've even covered a few shifts for Tammy when she can't make it. She's a bamf. Ask her why she's only got 9 toes for a good laugh

I have never had a problem at this Gray hannaford. Staff has always been helpful & respectful. They have always been great about replacing anything that may have a problem with it And apologetic if An item is not in sometimes we'll even give you a coupon if you have to try a new brand.

Had back surgery so I tried Hannaford to go for the first time, very convenient, only one substitute and one product unavailable. Paid same prices as in the store and was charged only a $5.00 service fee. Would definitely do it again

Large, clean store that carries everything you need. Produce is beautifully fresh, cheese dept offers a good sized selection of yumminess, bakery has fresh bread/pastries/cakes/cookies, and they sell wine/beer/liquor. Prices are a little high but quality is good.

Available product. Extremely pleasant & knowledgeable & kind workers. Seldom out of what I need. It's 1 stop shppong. Even the pharmacy is knowledge

They had everything we needed and the staff was very friendly. The best part was the pre-made lobster rolls that they sell in the deli. It was only $7.99 for two finger roll sized sandwiches. Contained ample lobster meat, including big claw chunks! The lobster salad was made with only mayo, no other filler, and there was a piece of lettuce on each sandwich. This supermarket deli really knows what they're doing!

Great Hannaford location. Clean, friendly staff. But what I appreciate most is how they donate leftover/expiring product to the food pantry I work with AND raise funds to help support the pantry financially. A super-appreciated influence on our local pantry and this community.

Super store very neat and clean and well stocked always a pleasure to shop at.

Great hot food selection, fresh fruit, awesome deli, and SUSHI (At some locations),, also I've had the BEST experience with their pharmacy. They care 💯. Nice that they bag for you, too. I'm a former NYer, never had this happen before! It's magical...um, as long as.the person bagging has a sense of weighted stacking, cold from not...etc. .(eggs under my cooking oil and clothing detergent...the bdetergent bucket was okay, but a) not with food items, and b) on top of my fragile baker's dozen?!or any food?! Sadly they were crushed like my fragile old heart. I joked with the kid last couple of times and he's cool, not worth yelling at someone 1/3 my age over something not yet learned, 🙃 eh Karen's suck.

The entire staff at the Gray, Maine Hannaford is WONDERFUL!! Especially Joshua. He’s very kind, caring, and genuine. You are very lucky to have him among your staff! He deserves to be recognized. Raise, promotion..... whatever you gotta do. keep him!! 😊💕 He may already be a supervisor/manager of some kind? I didn’t get a long enough look at his name tag. Just enough to catch his name but I’m quite sure he already is. Just making sure the correct Joshua gets recognized. Thank you!! Grateful to your staff especially with all they’ve had to endure the past year. They are always so nice.

Visited Hannaford supermarket. Easy to see from main road. Ample parking. Staff are really friendly and helpful.
Great produce fresh vegetables meats and fish.
We bought lobsters they where so good. Prices are reasonable. Would love to have a store like this where I live, just like a whole foods store

Thankfully they have self ck out, very busy obviously on a Saturday, however lines moved quickly, best time to shop is 7am-8am any day except new products arrive on Tuesday I believe, hope this helps!

I have been coming here since it was built. I like that it’s right in Gray and most times I don’t need to go to Windham, Auburn or Portland. I like the selection of foods here and even during COVID-19 they kept all the departments pretty well stocked. There are some items during the pandemic that were in very high demand and sometimes not available. This wasn’t really the store’s fault as some customers bought huge amounts and it was difficult to keep up with the panic buying. The staff is great and they all followed the State mandates during this extremely hard time. I found during the pandemic, the meat department keep the shelves very well stocked despite the national news stating there was a meat shortage because processors closed or reduced output. I usually go to this store daily or every other day buying just what I need for a day or two. The store itself is well kept and clean and layout makes sense and I always know where to go for my items. I like that I can find locally supplied foods from farms and entrepreneurs. I have a shout out for the floral department also for extremely nice arrangements and all kinds of potted plants along with seasonal decorations inside the store and outside on the sidewalk. The other thing I can’t do without is CLYNK for my returnable deposit bottles and cans. It is so convenient to have a CLYNK account and card to track and save up my deposits. It is so nice to just buy the bags at the store and take them home and bag my returnable for return back to the store. CLYNK picks up my bags, counts them and credits to my account by the tag provided you stick to the bag. The bakery and deli are the best, they have such a large selection of deli meats and cheeses and baked goodies in the bakery.
