Cafe Sebago Bar & Grill

I think Its open 4 pm to 9 pm Wednesday through Sunday and im extremely picky when eating out and this place I have been amazed! The steak and cheese was delicious and fresh plus the burger with 3 types of cheese and think bacon cooked perfectly with 2 super juicy patties and the rolls are perfect

First of all, do not let the name fool you, this is not a cafe. I drove by this place for years and never gave it a second thought because that is what I assumed that it was. It's more of a bar/tavern/social club type atmosphere. That said, the food, was delicious, hot, and fresh, drinks were great, and with the economy the way it is now, the prices were reasonable. We went in for an early dinner on a Saturday in December(off season for tourists that frequent the area), and it was pretty empty. This gave us a chance to check it out easily, and allowed us to chat with the staff. Our server Jazmyn was wonderful, and even stuck around chatting with us for a few minutes after her shift ended. After eating, we went out to the back patio area for a smoke(though off season, it was very large and comfortable and during summer months has games like cornhole for patrons to enjoy). There we met the cook, and had a chance to chat and compliment on the quality of the food. Overall, this place is not fancy, so if that's what you are seeking, you may want to look elsewhere, but if you are looking for a comfortable and friendly environment, with good food, drinks, and a friendly and attentive staff, you should check them out. The wife and I will definitely be returning.

Really great food! My husband got the lobster roll, it was big and stuffed full! I got the steak and cheese sub no veggies, the steak had lots of flavor and was cooked perfectly, the sub roll was yummy and toasted just how I like it. Very friendly atmosphere, and got our food in a timely manor. Our appetizer was the blooming onion which was the special today, so good! Better than I expected! 5 stars. We will definitely be back!

From the big servings to the killer atmosphere and wonderful bartenders i can’t speak enough about how well this place makes you want to come back, food is great my favorite is the patty melt i’m that type of guy but i have tried a lot of the menu and will say it’s all amazing. The night life is awesome good people affordable drinks and the owner is there to be a big part of everything he makes sure people and staff are well taken care of, but most of all the back deck spot hidden from the road but ready for a party plenty of seating and the chance of a game of corn hole is good. Do your self a favor if your in town take wonder over on a Friday have dinner and see the night life it’s a good time!

Our first time dining here after hearing wonderful things on Facebook and we are more than impressed. The food was delicious, the drinks were great and the service and atmosphere was superb. Will definitely be dining here again.

The food is 5 star. Price is remarkable! Decor, ambience...certainly not what one comes here for. It's about the food, the quick serve, and the $.

Came for breakfast and lucked into a small Saturday morning window of no-wait for table opportunity. Everything filled shortly after we were seated and a waiting line queued up, but we noticed that the wait was never long.

Hubby had the $6 breakfast: eggs, bacon, home fries, and toast. Common breakfast choice, but exceptionally good. I had a $10 Benedict: perfectly poached eggs over surprisingly lovely crab cakes, served on bed of baby spinach, with hollandaise of course (no English). Home fries included, though I gave mine to hubby. Delicious, and very well priced! Coffee here is very good, too. We will return!

Fantastic food!! Fried Haddock and fries was the best I've ever had! Big enough meal for 2. Coleslaw and baked beans were also delish!! My husband had the nachos and loved them with the shredded beef too. Chips were on point he said. We will be back for sure! Highly recommend this place!

Erin was my server/bartender this afternoon for lunch. She was very personable and upbeat. The Grateful Dead drink was sweet, the bacon on the BLT was made just right, and the fries and onion rings were nice and crispy! This is a cute little pub, and I enjoyed my time here.

Amazing food cooked by an amazing cook. Luisa is the best cook I've ever had make my tacos and steak tips. The drinks are on point and the whole staff is the bomb. Big bonus on Taco Tuesday. They have Jay DJ some wild and crazy karaoke. Keep up the great work Cafe Sebago. You kill it everytime.

Best clam chowder I've ever found so far on this planet...also great menu and a great variety of different types of food..service is not only great in front of the house (waitress/bartenders) and back of the house head chef and owner I believe is top notch.. Great/Friendly/Quick service... the place couldn't be any better. Between the waitress/bartender to talking through the window to the owner and the head chef in the kitchen. Great experience great food great people couldn't recommend highly enough..!!

Just stopped in after a day on the ice with some friends who were visiting me from NC. Fantastic. Service was fast. Yeah, it’s bar food, but it’s EXCELLENT bar food.

The service was great and the food was fantastic! Everything on the menu in fact sounded wonderful! I wish I could have tried each dish! My entire family was very happy with their selections.
We will definitely go back the next time we are up in Maine.

My husband, nephew and I came for breakfast this morning for our first visit. It turned out to be one fun adventure. Our waitess, Wendy helped us play a prank on some new friends we made in the waiting area. Great relaxing atmosphere and the food was delicious. We will definitely be back on a regular basis.

Everything we've tried here has not only been excellent, but among the best version of that dish we've ever had. Whether clam chowder, haddock, scallops, eggplant parmesan, pot roast, or Fettuccine Alfredo... they don't make anything less than perfection. It is one of our favorite hidden gems. Prices are reasonable and portions healthy!

I'm local and go to Cafe Sebago often. I have never had a bad meal there. All the food is wonderful.....my husband loves the lobster rolls. My favorites are Chicken Parmesan and Baked Stuffed Haddock. We are lucky to have a restaurant like the Cafe so close to home.

Great service and awesome food. I had the Fried Haddock Plate. The portion was large and the Haddock melted in my mouth. My partner had Fried Scallops and they were large and excellent. Everything was cooked perfectly.

Excellent fried haddock dinner tonight, as usual. Have never had a bad meal here, what they do they they do well, my go to place when I want a decent meal without taking out a mortgage...I'm a chef & recognize good food &value when I'm lucky enough to find it. 😊

Definitely a local favorite. Before 11, you can catch a great Sebago breakfast. Make sure you grab a side of the baked beans, they are delicious. A hangout for the friendly locals around lunch. Try the stuffed haddock or the lobster stew and you will not be disappointed.
