I love this place. The food has always been great, the owners are always incredibly nice and the pricing is fair. Then building itself always felt so cool to me, and though it could be cleaned up a tiny bit, it is still just so neat in my opinion. I’ve been coming here for a long time now. Thank you very much!

This place is the best Asian food I've ever had. Dont let the outside of the building fool you. My family had the chicken, pork and beef. They were all tender and delicious. Egg drop soup was amazing and the owner is very friendly. Will definitely be back.

One of THE BEST Chinese style restaurants I've been to. Food and service were great, prices were good, and the atmosphere was fantastic. Would definitely recommend if you're going through Plainwell.

Just like other reviews say, this place is a hidden gem. Outside is very unassuming but it was some of the best Chinese style food that I have ever had. Can’t say enough about the service, one of the nicest servers I have ever met. The hot and sour soup is 10/10. Sesame chicken was good. Beef lo mein was good as well but I prefer thicker noodles for my lo mein. You can tell the food is prepared fresh. Will be coming back soon

The food is amazing! Great service and I ordered off the lunch menu where you get rice and soup with your meal and it's a very large portion for a really good price! I got the Kung Pao chicken

We were in town from Illinois and picked this restaurant for one of our order out nights. All of the positive reviews are correct.

I wish we had a place even close to this back home. The people were so friendly and the food was incredible, no one was disappointed in our party of 7. The seasame chicken had a wonderfully sweet sauce, and the breading still remained super crispy. The egg foo young was just magical, a must-try if you check this place out.

The inside was decorated beautifully. The ornate flower vases, ceiling tiles and various decor was very interesting; don't let the outside turn you away!

So good I had to get on and leave a review! We are new to town here and Saturday night about 8:20 my father and brother said they were hungry. We took a chance on this place based on skimming a few reviews and it delivered a home run. We ordered the chicken friend rice and it was good but the sweet and sour chicken was a knockout. All white meat breaded perfectly! The lady at the front was super friendly and appreciative. We will be coming back, thank you

This place is absolutely amazing. What may not look like much on the outside holds honestly the BEST Chinese food I’ve had. Hands down beats the local favorite that’s in Mattawan, MI. The ingredients are the freshest I’ve ever had and the sauces are not the heavy, leave you feeling blah sauces. It’s takeout only but oh my gosh, so good. Since we’ve discovered they were still open we’ve had them weekly. The proportions are HUGE; some of us get 3 servings out of them! And the prices are unbeatable.

I've been going here since 1988, it's my favorite restaurant. The food is amazing and the portions are great, especially for the price. The owners are really nice people. I reccomend egg drop soup, shrimp with lobster sauce and spicy and tangy chicken. I get mine not spicy the egg foo young is amazing too.

I have been coming here about 2 to 3 times a year since I was a kid, which isn't too often, but even so, the waitress knows me and my order by heart! She is so sweet and such a hard worker. The prices are more than reasonable so I always tip extra. Egg drop soup and egg rolls are amazing!!

This place may look run down on the outside, but inside lays a true hidden gem. From real authentic decor floor to ceiling, to the very comfortable seating and actual silver silverware, this place feels very upscale. The prices are surprisingly low. The past 3 times I have gone here with someone else, we had a 3 course meal (appetizer of Rangoon to split, soup came with each meal, and generous portion of main entree), along with drinks for around $15. I have paid four times that for less food other places, and with the quality here I would still come even if prices double. Very enjoyable time here.

My family goes here alot and we love it here! The woman here is so sweet her food is really yummy, authentic Chinese! You definitely get what you pay for, but if you ever want to tip her beware she will chase you around the restaurant trying to give you your money back! so come here it's worth it

I love this place. I been going since I was a little girl. Best egg drop soup I have ever had. Nothing I can find elsewhere. Beef and broccoli is my favorite. Sesame chicken is my sons favorite! I love their house special fried rice as well.

It is a hole in the wall restaurant but by far the best authentic chinese food.

They worked hard all their lives and only their family manage it. Great people!

Amazing! My friend showed me to this place and I gotta say I was impressed. Their sesame chicken is a favorite of ours, and the music/atmosphere is great. The staff was very friendly and we even bought some of their oolong tea(which was delicious). 5/5 Would def go there again!

This place has very good food. We've been going there on occasion for 20 years or more. The prices are incredibly reasonable, especially for seafood! The portions are often enough for two people or taking leftovers home for another meal. The meat and seafood have never been overcooked. I do agree that the Crab Rangoons are mostly just cream cheese, so I wouldn't necessarily recommend them. The egg drop soup is very good, and all the other food my family and I have had there is delicious! This is a good place to get food for group meals too.

REALLY yummy! The waitress was very attentive and kind to us. I'm glad that we decided to eat here because the prices are really cheap but the food and service was not a let down. Will be coming back!

This is the best Chinese food in Michigan. The portions are just right, the staff is wonderful, and their chicken is brilliantly crunchy. There's a lot of sauce on many of the dishes, and anything that doesn't come with noodles comes with rice. Definitely the only place to get good Chinese food in Kalamazoo. And it's authentic.

The best Chinese food around! None of the other Chinese restaurants in the greater Kalamazoo area even compares to Hong Kong! They have the absolute best Egg Drop Soup, the perfect amount of egg. Phenomenal Moo Goo Gai Pan, Kung Pao Chicken, and Sweet and Sour Chicken. Every dish I've tried here is Chinese at it's absolute best. Not only is the food top-notch, but the owner is extremely accommodating, you can't not like her! She is funny and the best restaurant owner I've ever met!
