Expedition Credit Union

I just went into Expedition Credit Union to pay off our boat loan. They have exceptional customer service. They were professional, friendly, and thorough. I would highly recommend them.

The young ladies at the teller stations are very friendly and extremely helpful. I had a few issues they helped me resolve with patience and expertise.

The staff are always happy and pleasant. I was able to get a new car loan without too much work on my end. Digital signing for my loan papers and then automatic payments from my checking account. Thanks!

I love how friendly the staff are at ECU! All my banking needs taken care of at one spot. The mobile app is great for families on the go!

Customer service is always great here. The tellers are so patient and willing to help. Even though their lobby is closed because of Covid, they were able to open an account and take care of other logistics in the drive through.

The mobile app works really well to quickly see my accounts. I can login using my face and I can also transfer money out from my checking account to family and friends at another institution.

So proud to be a member of this Credit union.

Amazing service every time!

I think there were some rough spots in the new online banking app that followed the credit union's name change to Expedition. Their service people have worked with me to iron-out issues and life is good. (I should probably make the rating 4.75 starts ...)

They are also really good at handling transactions of all kinds without needing to got into an office. (I have been with them ... or a predecessor ... since forever. And I bet I have not been physically present in an office for nearly 50 years.)

Always great customer service, helpful, friendly. Never had a problem in the 15 years I've had an account with UECU. Just wish they had a location to the south...

I have tried to submit my insurance through every means listed in the multiple letters they've sent. I even gave them (as one of their options) the contact information for my insurance provider which they never called to verify. I got a letter today saying they bought insurance for me and I have to pay for it. Tried submitting again today for a 5th time, but who knows? Maybe before they go ahead and get insurance for you, a real person could call you to get the info. I guess that's too hard for this terrible institution.

Edit: After submitting a ticket on their website and attaching proof of insurance, I was called by a very nice woman at their office. She acknowledged that I followed the proper procedures and it was a 3rd party error that caused the issue. I added a star for finally getting a call to let me know they are reversing the charges.

My money is stuck at their bank. Can't transfer more than 100$ at a time. I do not recommend banking with them!

Update: to add to the insult, you can only move $200 a week. Don't bank with this company!

Update number 2: you can only transfer 400$ each month. What a joke. And you can't change anything on their site. What's next, a yearly limit?? What a way to keep your money away from their owner.

Do not Bank HERE! They get scammed easily. go to some other credit union if you want your money to be safe.

Edited review is still one star. Banking app is STILL down. Nobody answers the phones. Cannot access my account, and cannot get anyone on the phone for assistance. Both website and app place you on hold for hours for customer service before finally telling you that nobody is available. Will be closing my accounts as soon as I can access them.

Are we still living in the stone age? This credit union's app is a digital disaster. It's like trying to navigate through a maze blindfolded – frustrating and utterly pointless. Not content with just being useless, they don't even let you pay your loan through it! Instead, you're forced to trudge over to their archaic website, where they have the nerve to slap you with a $5 inconvenience fee just for the privilege of accessing your own money. And if that wasn't bad enough, brace yourself for this: they actually expect you to send paper checks to pay off your loan bill. Are we stuck in a time warp, or is this the 21st century? Get with the program, people – mobile banking isn't a luxury, it's a necessity.
