Our handicapped van broke down over 300 miles away from home, leaving our son and three friends stranded. Contacted Cummings Mobility about renting a van and luckily another friend was able to pick it up and go pick up the guys. Cummings receptionist, Tennie, went out of her way to make sure all the arrangements went smoothly and met them after hours to complete everything so they could return home. When I went down to return the van two days later, Lawrence was able to set us up with an inexpensive pre-owned handicapped van that we purchased, so transportation is still possible for our son while waiting the 8 to 12 weeks for the repairs to our other van. Cannot say enough good things about Cummings Mobility for their friendliness, help and professionalism. You guys are awesome!! Thank you!!

Cummings Mobility needs to advertise that they sell cars too! Sure, they have cars in their parking lot, but from the highway they look like customers parked there.
My brother called me up to tell me he was buying a car for my Dad’s use. He’s in a nursing home and can’t drive or get around without a wheelchair. Cummings Mobility apparently had one and my brother asked if I wanted to check it out before he finalized the deal.
I met him there, perused the vehicle and was completely and totally impressed! I gave him the thumbs up and left. It didn’t occur to me to try get into the driver’s seat until weeks later. I had considered taking the car over after my Dad was no longer in need of it. Well, I can barely get in it. I’m a big BIG guy and there’s no leg room for me with the captain’s chair all the way back. I told my brother he should sell it back to them, because I can’t use it. I need handles to help pull me in, and there aren’t any on the driver’s side. But who knows, I may end up in a wheelchair myself before long and Cummings could reconfigure the car for my use should that happen before he sells it back.

I just got a new van from the Cummings Mobility. I can't describe how grateful I am for how this process was from start to finish. Lawrence made the sales process flow so smoothly. Joe went above and beyond to finalize the install of all my equipment on a Friday. Tenny was extremely helpful in relaying messages and making sure all paperwork flowed effortlessly and it was a pleasure chatting with her while I was waiting for the finishing touches.
I high recommended the team at the Burnsville location (I'm sure you would receive the same service at the other locations as well). They're Rock stars and will definitely get my business in the future.

When looking for a wheelchair accessible vehicle I would highly recommend going to Cummings Mobility. The staff is very friendly there and Lawrence is very knowledgeable and will answer any and all your questions even after your purchase. They went the extra mile in driving two hours to come and show my mom a vehicle we picked up online to see if she liked it. When it came to the day to get the vehicle that she decided on, they drove down again to come get her in a different van to bring her up to their facility to get her fully fitted into the van of her choice. The whole staff is awesome from the front desk to the mechanic.

Just bought a new-to-me Toyota Sienna from Cummings. I worked with Joe and Lawrence and they were both so helpful. They found me the perfect van for a great price, helped usher the process through the state, which is something I would have no idea how to do.( My son has a DD waiver, so the state paid for the conversion)and gave me a great trade in price on my Honda Odyssey. A great experience.

I bought my second wheelchair accessible vehicle yesterday with Cummings and it was a breeze! The first time I was dealing with my county waiver and getting approvals for the driving lessons, then taking the drivers test, finding a vehicle, picking which company to go with (clearly Cummings was my choice 😉) and then get the quote approved and the last part was waiting for the modification to be completed. It is a very long and somewhat difficult process but thankfully, Lawrence, was extremely knowledgeable, patient and easy to work with! I was due to get my van back in the beginning of December (they transport once a week and with thanksgiving, it pushed back the arrival date) but Lawrence pulled some strings and was able to get it to me before thanksgiving!! I was so excited and grateful! Tennie—the first beautiful and smiling face you see when you get there—is also super awesome! She’s really friendly, professional and easy to talk to. She helped a lot during the process when I’d call or was there for some reason. Finally, Curt is a lifesaver! Yesterday when I went to trade in my van for a new traverse, there were some very minor issues that needed fixing. Curt did everything he could to make sure all was done right and I could leave completely satisfied and worry free with my new purchase! I HIGHLY recommend Cummings Mobility for any wheelchair accessible sales or service. I will be a lifelong customer for sure!!

Bought a van from Cummings Mobility, Burnsville in August of 21. The van wa in great shape, with a lot of buttons and knobs. My salesman, Lawerance Berthiume was very helpful, professional and courteous throughout the whole process. That made the decision an easy one to buy from Cummings.
