Fantastic guidance from Josh. I walked in only knowing that I needed hiking boots. He asked a bunch of questions I hadn't thought of and got me into a great pair. I can't wait to go on my trip! Kathryn was super helpful, as well. You can keep your big-box retailers; I say Nokomis Shoes rules.

I've bought a few pairs of shoes here and every single time the staff are fantastic - they promptly approach you in a friendly way, seem to genuinely care, and will help you find the right shoe every time. Highly recommended!

Caveat first: if you wear smaller than a size 7 women's, you probably will not find shoes here. You *might* get lucky in the clearance area, but generally do not expect to find anything in your size. I get it; it's a small shop and they have to buy what will sell to the most people, so I'm not going to fault them for it. That being said, I love this place otherwise. The clothing selection is surprisingly large and they sell many brands that are sustainable, which I appreciate. The clearance area is always fun to browse and you might snag a great deal.

Knew what I wanted so the experience was very smooth and fast. Customer service rep was knowledgeable about the shoe I wanted, including recommendations, sizing tips, and corrections, but also seemed ready to talk about other products without being pushy.

Checkout was smooth and quickly. A bit tricky to enter because they have 3 blocked/unused doors but it’s all marked well. Plenty of residential parking in the area.

Local, dog friendly, helpful staff, and they have everything! I love this place! Prices are competitive and the selection is great!

First off, this is SO much more than a shoe shop. My wife and I were both surprised having seen the store a few times before finally stopping in at the amazing selection of some of our favorite clothing and outdoor brands. Whoever does the purchasing for the store is terrific. I wish I could use the store as my personal closet.

The store is well curated, and the staff is always extremely helpful and friendly. I've bought two pairs of good boots for the winter, as well as hats, gloves, shirts, etc. This is now the place I tell people to give me a gift card to if they are looking for an easy gift. They frequently have good sales as well.

Forget that other guy (RW) this place has tons of US made work boots not just overly built fashion boots. And the prices at least on the new boots I wanted were better than you’ll find seconds online for!

Great place. Great selection. Great customer service. Upbeat folk working here, not only willing but even eager to assist you with what you need. They're excited about what they do and it shows. I appreciate this place and will be returning.
I simply needed to get a pair of shoes for my son for the new school year. The assistant got him sized up, gave us some suggestions, some pointers, and let us make the decision we felt appropriate. Highly appreciate that.

I remember going there as a kid when my dad would buy work boots. Now I'm happy to drive 45 minutes to get there as an adult to buy my own work boots. They have a great selection. Last time I went there, I tried on at least 5 or 6 different kinds, but I ended up going with the same Danner boots I always get. The guy helping me didn't mind running down to get all the different one's I wanted to try. They always treat me great!

My favorite place to get work boots in the cities. Probably have 10 pairs of shoes from here and lots of other things. Great selection, lots of sales. Josh was especially helpful this last time, More knowledgeable than expected, fast, and professional.

My boyfriend and I were looking for athletic shoes and slippers. We had the BEST service BY FAR. The sales man was the most courteous and helpful person old or young we have ever done business with. Outstanding staff with competitive pricing and a great selection.

Just picked up a pair of Bikenstocks. The knowledgeable staff were very helpful and they even had a resident "Birkenstock expert" (I didn't get her name) who helped me find the perfect size. I left the store very satisfied with my purchase.

Prices are great and competitive, product is awesome and high quality. Not only can you get shoes here, but tons of great stuff for camping and outdoor life. Owner was super friendly. Definitely will be here from now on instead of REI.

Great stores with employees that will help you with anything and are great at answering questions. Plus there great selection of work boots always brings me back.

This was the only place where I could find hiking boots I liked. The gentleman who helped me took one look at the worn out boots I was wearing and knew the brand, style, and the size without looking at the tag inside. He was able to point out several similar boots, and helped me find the perfect size in the one I wanted. I will never shop for boots anywhere else. My dad had a similar experience buying hiking shoes. The customer service was phenomenal.

Nice selection of shoes. Really good safety toe and work boot selection. I've never tried a pair of shoes on that they didn't have in my size. (Maybe just have unique taste or got lucky though!)

They have really nice quality clothing and are an awesome place to get a gift. Little higher end product and prices. Just try to justify it by reminding yourself your support a great little local shop!

Nice local shop, really caring for their community. They helped a situation with an homeless guy who was walking around bear feet. Neighborhoods need more people and businesses like them.
