A delicious delight place for sichuan food! The boss Dan Luo came from Chengdu, where sichuan food originated. Dan brought the authentic flavor to Bloomington MN. Lucky us! We had a feast of mapo tofu, dandan noodles, sliced noodles with beef and chicken and many others!

AMAZING experience, food and service. I had ordered take out once and it was phenomenal 🙌 Our friend recommended we eat inside and I so so so recommended it. We tried the beef and broccoli, a fish soup, orange chicken and a duck mango dish. GET THE DUCK MANGO, it is the best duck I have ever had and will be ordering again!

All dishes are large portion, meant for family style eating. Some tables have lazy Susan rotating in the middle to make passing dishes easier.

This place is authentic, the patrons know this is where the good food is!

Delicious Chinese food packed with lots of flavor and huge portion sizes. Great customer service, fast and efficient. I was seated right away and served with hot tea and water. It was my first time there and wanted to look at the entire menu before ordering. The server came around twice and didn't fussy about it or made me feel like I needed to hurry place an order.

Conveniently located in a shopping area with easy parking and accessibility. I would defiantly come back!

I’ve done both dine in and take out. Round tables are great for family gatherings. Food is fantastic. I order from their Szechuan menu often. Really can’t go wrong with anything. This is my favorite Chinese restaurant in the twin cities. Service can be slow but always friendly, and I don’t mind the wait.

overall this place is amazing for the food- nice little spot inside a strip mall. the service was fast and friendly. The dumplings were amazing and the soup is a must. Good came out very fast. barely had time ti eat my soup before the apps and entree were don't and delivered. pricing is a little higher but we'll worth it based on the food quality

Place has actual authentic Chinese food, as well as your standard Americanized Chinese food. Was not expecting the first one, was a pleasant surprise. Dishes came out quick and were lovely.

The pork ears with chili didn’t have much flavor to them (would have preferred it to be sweet and spicy) and the water wasn’t really cold, room temp.

Small complaints aside, the pricing was superb. A big bowl of noodles was only like 10$? Insane. That same bowl would cost you like 18$ elsewhere. Filling and a pleasant experience, good place for authentic Chinese.

Seems like the bad reviews aren't organic. This place is the best in town for authentic Szechuan/ Asian dishes. Go in and decide for yourself. We order often and they are very consistent in providing the flavor! The Kung Pao pork is amazing. Dan dan noodles are crazy good. Sliced pork belly. Damn good place!

Great authentic Chinese food... with some Americanized versions, too.

They are now charging a 3.9% card fee. OR giving a discount for cash... whichever way, you want to look at it.

It is one of the only restaurants my Chinese friends also like.

beef and vegetables today... we had it once before, and it was great... a better assortment of veggies than ordering from the vegetables section of the menu. However, today, it was drowning in brown sauce... next time, I will have them go light on the sauce!

Fantastic food!! Best Chinese food I’ve ever had and it’s actually authentic! So flavorful. The server was so nice too. She picked out everything for us! Get the orange duck, green beans, and pork belly appetizer!

Went there for dinner with my husband. Both of us enjoyed the food as we can do both (authentic Chinese and Americanized Chinese food) because they have two different version of the menu.
Literally had the best authentic Chinese meal in Minnesota. Highly recommended the Mapo tofu! So good 🤍

Went on a busy Sat. night and had a great dinner. The service was minimalist and they forgot a soup we ordered but they quickly adjusted it off our tab when I asked. On to the important stuff, the szechuan green beans were fantastic and our entrees were very fresh. Duck for $19, what's not to like? I'll be back here for sure.

Everyone should try this absolutely. Love each and every dish at this place. Ambience is really good and they prepare food very much. This is my number 1 Chinese restaurant so far to always try it and have good food. They cook delicious food. The chef is amazing and he know the flavors. Food service is quick and fast too.

Lately they might have a low staff as I did face a little bit of delays with my table server. She hasn’t placed the plates for us or was not in mood to answer our questions.

But over all this is an amazing good place. I should keep visiting and try all the other dishes here.

Try out there Kung pao tofu and Szechuan dumplings. They are my top favs.

Sichuan food is the best food I've tasted so far in my life. This restaurant doesn't disappoint me either, we came with our 2 year old girl and they gave her the tiny little tea cup for her which we really appreciate. This little gesture matters. The food taste the heaven to me and flavours is something I've always wanted. The portion size is plenty as well. We will be back next time we visit Minnesota ❤.

My husband is originally from Taiwan and was craving Chinese food. He ordered a ton of food but everything was really good! Especially the beef and tofu in peppercorn broth. So spicy and amazing.
Our waitress was very sweet and down to earth.
The bathrooms were clean, and the prices are very reasonable.

You can always count on great schiwan food at Grand Szechuan. Last time I was here we had Chengdu chicken bo-bo, spicy dumplings and kung pao lotus roots. Cumin Lamb and crispy duck. Everything was good!

Very good in general. Central / northern Chinese dishes. Service is as usual for Chinese restaurants. I liked the deep fried tofu I had, which has a good mix of crispiness and smoothness to it. Atmosphere is pleasant but it can be crowded sometimes.

This place can seat a lot of people. Food has always been good. If you like it spicy this is the place to go. The menu does a good job of showing how much or little spice dishes have. You always get hot tea at the table before food is served. My favorite dish is War Bar Combination and pork w/Peking sauce. Husband faithfully gets Kung pao chicken. It's always good.

Fantastic food at an amazing value. Huge family style portions. Service was extremely friendly and polite if somewhat distracted.

I live in the northern part of the twin cities and make a point to come all the way to Bloomington to eat this delicious food. You cannot go wrong with their Crab Meat Delights and Orange Chicken. Will always recommend.

Been here twice now, and I'll be back again! The food is flavorful and fresh. First visit I had the popular Chung King Chicken. Very good stir fry dish. Second visit I ordered the General Tso's lunch special. First off the portion size was HUGE for the 8.95 price which included an egg roll, soup and small salad. The hot and sour soup is possibly the best I've had in the city. The salad had some awesome sweet dressing on it. General Tso was a little different than most Chinese places I've been but still good. Fried rice and spicy dumplings too were very good.
