First time here after living in Duluth 5 years. Wow, wish I’d been here sooner! I explained the problems I had with my feet, my lifestyle, activity level, my work expectations, etc. The staff took great care and time to find the right shoe for my foot issues and to fit with my inserts and lifestyle. I left smiling with incredibly comfortable shoes. I had a wonderful experience, I can’t recommend this place more.

I got my wife a new pair of walking shoes. This store gives you buyers rewards for buying their shoes plus they have most sizes in stock. They are very helpful about getting the correct size and fit for you and have a 30 day return or replacement. They are a truly great place to shop for any foot ware needs.

I'm a Hoka guy. Great fit and comfort over the top. Their prices are the same as online but they have the shoe and you can wear it home.

Great local footwear store. The associates were very helpful and knowledgeable about the shoes and the difference between their benefits and performance. Both my wife and I found shoes for our needs but wanted them in different colors than what they had available, they were very accommodating and are ordering the colors we want.

My husband and I each got fitted for running shoes today and their machine was very helpful in making an appropriate choice! The sales staff was awesome (I think we were helped by Savannah and Mike if I got their names right), very helpful and friendly! Their return/exchange policy is good if the shoes don't work out and they have a frequent buyer program which is also nice lol

Need to write a shoutout to this store! Bought two pairs of Hokas from them recently and had excellent, in depth and personal consutations both times. The shoes have greatly helped with moving me from limping to walking well. Also the store has nice incentives such as a big discount for the second pair, lifetime guarantee and sales.

We had super service from a young man this afternoon that was tall with short blonde hair! Wish I would have caught his name! He ordered my Hoka Bondi 8 shoes, helped me try on many others to ensure I was purchasing the right style! Very patient and great sense of humor! Keep up the excellent work 👍👊

I have been a longtime satisfied customer since my podiatrist recommended this excellent foot wear store years ago. I recently had a virtual shopping experience with Ann that I have to share!! She had no boundaries with her service!! She was the most outstanding, thorough, knowledgeable, and truly dedicated to customer service beyond all expectations!! There were NO stops for Ann!! When I received them via 'Speedy Delivery ', the box had a hand written note by Ann that was amazing!! I typically do not take time to rate and review a purchase but this service was unbelievable!! Oh, I have to note, my feet are loving it too!! I can get back to walking!! I highly recommend Tortoise & Hare Footwear for ALL your footwear and foot concerns!!

I've been in healthcare for 18 years as a CNA, LPN and now an RN for the last 11 years. I've always come here to get my shoes. The foot mapping is so helpful to find my pressure points and see how I walk. The staff are knowledgeable, friendly and very helpful. I generally buy two pairs of Brooks at a time: one pair for home and one for work. I highly recommend. It is a bit pricey, but very worth it. They generally have some kind of discount. For example, healthcare discount, frequent buyer, etc. Hope this helps someone! 😃

This was my first visit to the store. This store has excellent customer service! The staff is very friendly, helpful, and listens to what you're looking for in particular in a shoe. There's plenty of style choices for many foot types. I have a wide foot with no arch and plantar fasciitis and they still had many choices to pick from. I'll definitely be a returning customer.
