Carmine's Bar & Grille

Friendly, fast service. Nice menu work plenty of gluten friendly options. I have had the nachos, pizza, salmon, and salads and have not been disappointed yet. It's on my list of "regulars" for dining out nearby at a decent price.

The food here is bomb. I got the chicken sandwich the first few times but their flatbreads are awesome, too. The people who work here seem professional and friendly. I like that the lighting is a bit dim.

Edit: some of the people leaving reviews on here sound wild! I eat at different restaurants every day all over the Cities for work. This is one of the places where I'm always happy I'm close to it when it's lunch time.

Fun atmosphere, great service and food was fantastic!! The Italian cheese fries and full of flavors and the chicken filet sandwich and onion rings were great!! Crispy chicken sandwich is good too! The wings aren’t the best…they are the large wing and I find those hard to eat. The Buffalo sauce was sweet tasting. Very large servings!! And they have pulltabs!!

Had an amazing dining experience at Carmines. Food was fantastic, service was great and the atmosphere to watch the Timberwolves game was awesome. Definitely be back very soon, can’t wait to try their brunch.

First time there. We found the wait staff superb. The service was fast and the food was good. We were there on Tues. evening for bingo and had a great time. Didn't win but since everything else was good it was okay! Prices were very reasonable.

Amazing experience all around. Our server was fantastic, the food was incredible and the portions were large. Definitely making the rotation.

Really nice Italian spot. We did take out it was quick and fresh. Wings were huge. The Italian Nachos are to die for. Very creative and really god couldn't stop eating. The calamari taste like home. Brought memories of back in Delaware at Mario's Italian Restaurant with Biden sharing some good times and talking about what college I was going to go to. I will becoming by again. Great food, can't wait to try other dishes.

More of a sports bar than I had imagined but the food - I had the sundried tomato/mozzarella flatbread - was absolutely delicious. Wait staff was great, courteous, and right on time with iced tea refills.

The staff were all so nice and great! I had the spaghetti and meatballs and it was great! The cookie sundae is a must!

Great food! Beautifully redone inside. The bar area is a bit loud but no more than another bar area. The seating area outside the bar was very quiet though so you could choose either. Most of the pasta dishes were in the $14 - $16 dollar range. But they also had sandwiches/burgers and salads. I would recommend getting there and having a nice dinner. Glad we have a nice place like this in Bloomington.

The best food and service . We brought the whole family and everybody was raving on how delicious the meals were. We love this place, and the 🍨 of choc chip cookie skillet is to die for.

If you can find a better steak dinner in town call me id like to compare. This is a monday only special but outside of the steak the chief loves his craft and the homemade blue cheese and fun Italian specials are killer i recommend to everyone the balls and bread its in the apps and if you are not impressed forget me forever for all recommendations its incredible! This is a great place to watch sporting events i included pictures of the amount of TVs you will not miss a thing and they have a great brunch! Regrettably its Sunday's only like all of Bloomington sad town that it is... but we went to brunch not too long ago and i had a classic breakfast eggs bacon potato and toast and oh man the bacon!... the bacon is so good i had to ask where it comes from what brand? The staff said the owner knows someone in the Dakotas that supplies it and all i can say is ITS WORTH THE TRIP!!! Thank you sir it made our day... not to mention 4 strips instead of 3 or 2 like im at a dam perkins and didn't come here to enjoy my meal lol... Shout out to the bartender Lance a great guy with a good witt totally swamped and still made us feel we were appreciated... tipped the cook for the perfectly cooked steaks.

Our first time visiting and it was fantastic! It was a busy night without reservations but they got us in after a short 15-minute wait. The menu is varied and, although Italian-biased, they also serve Americana fare burgers and sandwiches. We started with half salads, chopped and house, which were both terrific and good sized. Our main dishes were Lobster Carbonara, a special they offer periodically, and Italian Bolognese. The portions were large, the temperature was perfect, and the taste was spectacular. The Carbonara had ample amounts of lobster with a cream sauce that was one of the best we have ever had. The Bolognese, a menu regular, had a slightly sweet marinara sauce that was as good as it gets. We also received Italian bread with butter on the side that was also not disappointing. The wine and beer menus are large and varied. Happy hour has a 2 for 1 draft beer offering that ends at 6 PM. The server we had was a pro, both pleasant and highly competent, and we saw her handling other patrons, including a large table, with the same extremely high levels of service we received. The time we waited for the food was reasonable as were the prices compared to the other restaurants we visit. Carmine's is very highly recommended based on our first impressions.

Went for dinner with a larger party and the staff were able to set aside some tables for us with relatively short notice. Staff were extremely friendly and the service was great throughout dinner, even as the restaurant got busier. Food arrived pretty quickly for the whole table which was very nice. Beer was also served almost immediately after ordering and the summer shandy was fresh as can be.
I ordered a baked chicken parm, and cheese bread and buffalo chicken nachos were ordered for the table. The food was a tad on the bland side but not tasteless by any means (could just use some more seasoning); it's also priced reasonably for the amount that you get so there's not much to complain about.

This place was fantastic! Great service and wonderful food at surprisingly good prices. Quickly becoming our favorite place when we are in the area.

I was able to visit this place in the late evening as well as for lunch. When I went there late I wasn't hungry at all after checking out the menu couldn't wait until I was so I could try it out. Awesome place to sit and chat with friends. Looks like it would be a great place to watch the game as well. my husband and I both thoroughly enjoyed our lunch. I had the baked penne with meatballs and he had the meatball sandwich with fries. I definitely plan to go back to try other items on their menu. The service was awesome!
