Worked with Dan on an interior multi-room, multi color-paint job. Experience could not have been better. First and most importantly, the quality of work is A1! Dan pays attention to every detail and the deliverable exceeds expectations, he is a true professional. Our rooms look better than we imagined they ever could. But on top of that Dan puts together a methodical plan, shares it with you, and sticks to it. He delivers exactly what he promises from a timing and pricing standpoint. Artisan82 and owner Dan are top notch. We recently purchased an older home needing renovation and couldn't have gone with a better interior painter. He goes above and beyond from wallpaper removal to patchwork for the best aesthetics. Transparent, punctual, reliable, consistent work!

While observing Dan and his work on our neighbor's house, which was exceptional, we asked him to do a small project on some of our high, exterior window trim. He was able to fit us in and did a great job.

Here is what you need to know about Dan:
- He is a perfectionist who does nothing but high quality work.
- He is organized (meticulous, really), has the right tools to do the job, and spends the necessary time preparing for each phase of the project.
- He follows through on his word and gets things done when he says he will. He is a great communicator!
- He is versatile with any type of painting projects. For these projects he did an entire interior, a stucco exterior, lots of trim, and a mailbox.

Dan is so good at what he does! We cannot recommend him enough!

We were very pleased with the Dan's work. Our newly painted rooms looked great and working with Dan was an absolute pleasure for many reasons, some of which I've detailed out below!

He was flexible: We needed a few extra days to finalize our paint colors. Dan was happy to give us extra time, even though it meant an extra, last minute trip to the paint store to accommodate us. He also very willingly let us add an extra room to our project as we reassessed our needs.

He was organized and communicative: Dan created a personalized project management plan so we understood exactly what he was doing and when he as doing it. He texted us after each day of work with an update on his progress and pictures. It was great to see the project coming together each day!

He went above and beyond: Dan put extra care into our son's room by re-caulking some of the baseboards. He also proactively touched up a ceiling and applied a fresh coat to our living room mantle just because he saw it needed some work!

He has great taste in music: I heard his jams when I stopped by the house a few times and they were fire!!

I would enthusiastically recommend Dan and his work to anyone who needs a painter! Great guy, awesome work, very dependable, and thoughtful. Thank you, Dan!

Artisan82 and owner Dan exceeded our expectations! Our newly purchased 1915 home needed a lot of love - old wallpaper removed, plaster repaired, trim, windows, doors, walls painted, wood stained, cement floor epoxy, and even some unexpected surprises. Dan was very thorough in explaining and walking us first time homeowners through the restoration process and how he would tackle each project including paint selection, timeline, and a very thorough estimate. He provided daily updates and met his deadline. He even added some surprises at the end to really make our project complete and make us feel welcomed into our 'new' old home! The final product is perfection - crisp, detailed, and thorough. We can't recommend Dan enough and will continue to use him for future projects we may have!

Dan was wonderful to work with when painting our new home. The quality of his work was incredible and he was extraordinarily professional. Dan returned our request for services promptly and his estimate was very fair. Dan arrived on time each morning and finished in record time. He is professional and came with all the equipment to get the job done well. When some changes had to be made, we were able to work that out, and he still finished in the promised timeframe. We are so pleased with the work Dan did. I would definitely recommend him. Dan painted a fireplace and doors and it was very professionally done. We had our entire condo painted when we were on a trip and came home to a freshly painted beautiful newly painted condo.

Dan recently painted our entire condo prior to our moving in. I was a bit hesitant hiring a painter as we had a poor experience with a previous project at our prior home. I couldn’t say enough good about our experience with Dan Kellogg. From the moment we reached out to him to plan our painting job, he was quick to respond and always provided great advice on colors and finishes. I initially reached out to Dan with Artisan 82 Interiors while visiting our son in Minneapolis this past month. Our son had recently purchased a condo in an old, very beautifully maintained building, and faced quite a bit of work with repainting his new space. He had asked if I would do some initial research into area painters while he was at work, and Dan’s company was one of several I contacted, but definitely the one that stood out above the rest. He had researched the address/condo, so had a good idea of the space, and had gone ahead and given a quote. He voiced his interest in working on this job, and definitely showed appreciation for the historic and beautiful building. My son had started one room, so after giving some thought, he contacted Dan and hired him to paint the the rest of the space. Our son is extremely happy with Dan’s work, and I’ve seen photos of the work in progress, as well as several photos from Dan of ‘closer’ to finished work. I hired Dan at Artisan to paint the entire main floor of my Mother's home. Every room had wood paneling. I know that's a tricky process. Dan explained the process and gave me a reasonable rate. As my Mom had just passed and she had lived in the house for 63 years and it was the only home i had known as a child, this was a project close to my heart. I was extremely pleased at the results. It is really beautiful. Dan was wonderful to work with. He stayed on schedule and is a great communicator, texting me daily with picture updates. If you need a painter, he's your guy.

Dan was incredible! We've used professional painters before, but I've never experienced this high level of project management, set up, communication and, of course, finished quality product. I'm recommending him to everyone that I hear considering painters.

Working with Dan was an absolute pleasure and the results were amazing. It's hard to put into words how something as small as fresh paint can make your home feel like new.

He was extremely communicative throughout the process and fixed any issues or concerns I had (some from previous, unrelated work that was done).

He even went above and beyond in installing a doorstop for me as he noticed that, without it, the adjacent wall would just be damaged again. Not difficult but something I would never have given it a second thought until it was too late.

Highly recommend and I'll be using him in the future for my other rooms.

Dan has done a lot of work for me over the years. I have never been disappointed with his skill, his professionalism and his thoughtful approach to any job. This latest project involved refurbishing grimy old wooden kitchen cabinets. It required a good eye, a steady hand and lots of patience. I got the result I hoped for; a clean warm look that and is in keeping with the age of the house.
