Oxboro Library

Awesome Hennepin County Library! Really I never found a Hennepin County Library to be anything short of excellence, they really are classy libraries, modernized with the times is the whole experience and feel, well accommodating. One thing sort of troubles me though that I hope they do know what they are doing. I get a little scared the more book sales they host that I attend, it seems they are sure they will get away with this technology future. The shelves became very bare, they give some away for free at the sales, and no cover charge too (get it? Cover charge). I do notice, it is like cleaning up hanging onto dirty junk. I wonder if the Library of Congress is down with ridding all the paper forms for health reasons. Maybe a sign that all employees must wash their hands would motivate them to sell those old scrolls, treaties and doctrines to me? Some have installed sanitizers at the doorway.

I fully expected this to be a zoo when I read a certain review. It could not have been any different. I've been here twice for 4+ hours each day and it was as good as a library gets. Its new and is well maintained. Sure, there is a two hour period in which kids come in for after school activities but the noise level was good except for a few instances(people forget they are kids). The librarians were all nice and smiled when I walked by. I will be coming back as I prepare for my exams.

Great quiet library with room to find a spot and study away!

The library was updated a couple years back and it is beautiful (I didn’t much mind it before, but this was a good upgrade). The staff is helpful and friendly, the selection of books is pretty good, at least on the kids side, which is where we spend most of our time. I like that they’re including more and more books in other languages, especially Spanish. The kids area has a station for imaginative play and some other toys to help entertain little ones, there are plenty of tables and comfy chairs, computers and a printer, semi private reading/study areas, but also private rooms for study that you can use if you need more quiet. It’s right next to and apartment complex and right across the street from a school, so there always seems to be a number of people around, but it’s still a pretty relaxing place, everything a library ought to be.

Love it!!! Quiet place to go. I love the atmosphere,and the staff are so nice,and are always to assist you if you need help with anything.

The staff at this library is really helpful with everything.

Very friendly people who are somewhat helpful. They keep their distance and won't help you with copy machine or anything of that nature due to the covid rules. Other than that the place is quiet and clean and they are vigilant about cleaning and disinfecting every thing.

I came in the library around noon on Tuesday I don't know who was working there was a young man and a lady . They were the most helpful and most pleasant people with the best customer service I've had in a long time. I've been trying to get these documents for at least a month and a 1/2 and the young man helped me through step-by-step how to get them I them and printedprinted up and it was very nice kudos to them

I treasure the fact that Oxboro Library is in the neighborhood. It is a great resource. My printer failed and I needed to print some important documents. It was a relief to have a place to go to today and get my job done. I enjoy going there to read publications that I cannot afford the subscription fees. I like Oxboro!

It’s small but it’s big!!!

This library was very quiet and empty. There were only 3 people inside, including myself. I was able to get a computer and take care of my business. They have hand sanitizer available and social distancing.

Been taking my kids here for years without any issues. It is always clean with lots of space. The staff is always very helpful

I love this library! It’s clean and easy to find things. Also, the staff members are very kind and friendly, even to my toddler who isn’t always quiet.

Great childrens section with play space and many bilingual books

Good computers with access to printers. Great books. Library is quiet with nice librarians.

Helpful staff, Emily at front desk helped me with finding book using Library of Congress classification system, something I still find confusing.
