Slim and Trim Construction

We had a great experience with Slim and Trim! They were kind enough to help us with a small job that we just couldn't do ourselves, even though I'm sure it was much too small to be worth their time. Everyone we talked to was friendly and easy to work with. They were very professional and did an outstanding job installing the Trim that was missing. It's clear that they really value their customers as they went above and beyond to help us. We will Definitely use them again!

Sim and trim Construction is the best company I have ever worked with. Every single person who worked with me starting with Riley who was my first point of contact has been excellent. Riley was very patient with me when we first met answering all of my questions and he managed the project from the beginning to the end with the best care and intentions. Riley went above and beyond to help me in every way. I also was impressed with the roofing crew and the siding crew (Cruz and Gloria) as well as with Thomas , Sean and Sawyer. I had 100 percent positive experience with everyone at this company. I highly recommend them. They advocated for me with my insurance company and helped in any way they could. Slim and Trim Construction’s information was given to us by our old neighbors after we had shared our frustrations with them about the estimates that we had received from two other roofing companies. The other companies were impersonal, terse, and vague about their pricing. Neither of the other companies went up on the roof and one guy didn’t even take any measurements... He just said, “I’ve been doing this for a long time.” Our whole roofing experience turned around after we contacted Thomas at Slim and Trim Construction.

We had a very positive experience from the first phone call all the way through to the final payment being made. Thomas explained everything in detail and was patient talking through all of my questions (I had a lot!). The final product is wonderful (look for yourself). Not only were they easy to talk to, but they were fast! From the first call to the last nail being driven into the roof was just over a week and the gutters were put in just a few days later. They worked with our insurance and really took the stress out of a daunting project. We have already recommended them to our neighbors and wouldn’t hesitate to pass on their card to our friends and family. They absolutely earned 5/5 stars!

Riley did a great job when my insurance adjuster was inspecting my roof for hail damage. He pointed out the damage that the hail caused. We had confidence in Slim and Trim that they did the roof when we were out of town. Riley kept us posted on the status of the roof by calling and sending us photos. Great Job!

Having work done on your home is extremely stressful, at least for me. All the workers in the crew, from the owner, and foreman, to anyone I spoke with listened patiently and either took care of my issues or passed them on and they were all addressed. I had two minor concerns after the work was completed and they were addressed in a very timely manner. As Thomas, the owner, had mentioned, they like to surprise people with their work. I was very pleasantly surprised! I have never worked with a company before that really cares about the customer. I can say as a very picky homeowner that they went the distance and then some. I would recommend this company wholeheartedly to any who need roofing or siding. Thank you crew of Slim and Trim!

Slim and Trim’s customer service exceeded my expectations, and these days that tends to be a lost art. It began with a call to the office, speaking with Lynn. Lynn took the time to listen to my concerns, the requirements of the job, and helped get our project going. And all of this with a positive, can-do attitude.

Riley then made contact to visit, look at the scope of the work and provide a quote. Riley communicated well throughout the process, keeping me updated and was also responsive to my follow-up questions. Finally, Sawyer was out to perform the work and complete the job. Sawyer was positive and willing to answer any questions on the day the work was performed.

I would without concern recommend Slim and Trim based off the positive experience I had with them all!

Nate did an excellent job of estimating and presenting the roof repair after a hailstorm. He took the time to work with our insurance adjuster and got the whole roof replaced instead of a repair as our insurance company wanted. The crew had the old shingles off and new ones on AND cleaned up in 1 day! We are very happy with Slim and Trim and would certainly recommend them to anyone.

Ask for Riley Linck-Tollefsbol, He did all the work dealing with our insurance company. They lowballed us at $3200 on the first pass, Riley educated us on the process and how he could get them to do better. He fought for a better resolution and the end result was a complete roof and skylight replacement with very little out of pocket cost. Everything went exactly as he said it would and took all the stress out of the process! GREAT WORK! I strongly recommend.

There are so many roofing companies out there. We found Slim and Trim and from initial inspection to the completion of replacing our storm damaged roof. They were "on top of it".

They left us with our property cleaner than when they started. They protected our plants to the outside furniture.

Our project manager was Riley. He has the energy needed to satisfy the toughest of duties.

I'm used Slim and Trim twice to replace siding and have been impressed with their diligence, helping me find replacement siding with the same lap, and the great workmanship they provide. Thomas was great to work with and I wouldn't hesitate to use them again.

Slim and Trim replaced our siding, windows, roof and gutters, and repaired our deck after a bad hail storm. We called them after the storm as we had them look at our roof shortly after we moved in. Thomas, the owner, was very responsive to our questions, showed up when he said he would, personally came by to check on any contractors he used (all of which he uses regularly and was familiar with.) We had a lot of work done and we are pleased with all of it. Thomas also worked well with our insurance company and mortgage company. Additionally, I believe at least 5 of our neighbors also used Slim and Trim and as far as I know, everyone has been pleased. We have recommended Slim and Trim to friends several times as well. It is nice to know if anything needs to be repaired at our house, we know who to call. We know the work will be done well and a good guy is getting our business. It is a pleasure to write a review for this company. Give them a call!

Slim and Trim made the process of getting my roof repaired easy and painless. The job and cost was detailed up-front and there were no "surprises" along the way. They worked with my insurance company directly so that I didn't have to work on it. Very friendly and efficient-- would definitely recommend.

Slim and Trim far exceeded our expectations. After a bad storm, they came the next day and found extensive damage to our roof. They squeezed us into their schedule just 2 weeks later and also gave us a very fair price on gutters. Fast, friendly service with quality that has left neighbors complimenting the work. I cannot give enough praise to Slim and Trim construction. From the high quality of their work to their excellent communication and ease of doing business and I would highly recommend them to anyone needing work done. They met with us to look at our roof as well as offer their professional opinions on other items we had questions with and always gave us a straight and honest answer. Our project was delayed because of the winter snow but as soon as spring rolled around I received a call to schedule the construction and never had to worry about a lack of follow through. There was also some
unexpected updating to code that had to be done and they worked directly with my insurance company to resolve everything so it didn’t come out of my pocket and still managed to get the project done on schedule. Easy to work with on payment plans and still continue to answer questions as they arise. If you want a company that stands behind their work, gives back to community, and communicates along the way Slim and Trim is for you!!!!

We had our roof (shingles, skylights, gutters, downspouts, etc.) replaced by Slim and Trim Construction last fall due to hail damage. Slim and Trim handled everything from coordinating with our insurance adjuster, stopping by to discuss various colors and product options with us, scheduling the work, and clean up. The entire crew was easy to work with and they all did high quality work - even addressing specific details and helping flash some additional doors as requested. We would definitely work with Slim and Trim again in the future!
