LUV Ice Cream

LUV Ice Cream is the BEST!!! Owners, Susanna and Ilya, are outstanding! They are so friendly and accommodating. One time my husband and I showed up at the store, not realizing that it was closed. We walked up to the door and saw they were closed. Ilya got out of his car and offered to get us something. We politely declined, but he insisted it wouldn't be an imposition (which I'm sure it was). Regardless, he opened up the store and made my husband one of their wonderful shakes! It was such a kind gesture and put a metaphorical cherry on top of their sugar free ice cream! Everything in the store is sugar free and delicious. It's nice there's a great alternative for diabetics, keto and people who avoid sugar. The last time we were there I tried the limoncello gelato and it was one of the best things I've ever had!! They also have chocolates and cookies and so much more! The weather you do or don't eat sugar, you should try LUV Ice Cream. Lastly, it's an adorable shop - with pink as the predominant color and hearts everywhere! It's LUV after all!

My wife is vegan and has a sugar intolerance and was certain she would not be able to enjoy ice cream again, until we found this spot! Stacked with delicious ice cream, chocolates, and even ice cream cakes!!! This place is AMAZING. Geniuses. Everything is made in shop and definitely made with love. We will be back time and time again. Also, SUPER friendly!!!

Well, let's see. I'll start with customer service. Super friendly, they know their product they're Happy and cheerful.

This is one of the best dairy-free ice creams I've ever had in my entire life. I get the chocolate coconut and it's amazing. I'm also not a fan of coconut so if that doesn't tell you that it's good, I don't know what will.
I couldn't wait before I took a bite so here's a picture with a bite out of it.

My mom was in town for surgery & had been buying their baking chips for years but recently realized they had a store so we took her here.

The first thing you notice is beautiful patio seating but when you walk in you're blown away by the absolutely adorable aesthetic.

There is a store with all of their products AND a bakery AND a counter where you can get ice cream, fancy chocolate, other candies, coffee & more. They have tons of sugar free, keto, gluten free & dairy free options.

The ladies that work here are absolutely wonderful. You can tell they take pride in their business (as they should as it's wonderful) & that's very refreshing.

Please try the vanilla bean dairy ice cream if you come here - you will be blown away!

Such an adorable and helpful little shop. I came here seeking a very specific quest item - sugar free s'mores, and not only did the lovely staff have many of the ingredients I needed, they also helped me to find a recipe for the marshmallows and wrote out the ingredients they didn't have so I could find them elsewhere. Above and beyond service, at an already fantastic shop. Definitely stop by, for the friendly people and the unique selection of sugar-free sweets! 💙💙💙

Lots more than ice cream here but the ice cream is so flavorful and rich. The eggnog ice cream is perfect. I wish more sorbet style options were available but the Sangria is good enough it doesnt matter.

We love bringing our family to Luv ice cream! The dairy-free ice cream is a great option, and the gluten-free waffle cones are amazing 😍 Also, the kids love their milkshakes, root beer floats, and I love their coffee frappes!

No sugar (also vegan options). Had a great waffle cone and my wife loved her root beer float. Bought some chocolate for later. They use natural sweeteners including organic stevia. No artificial sweeteners.

This is a quaint ice cream cafe with extraordinary products! Their uniqueness is that all their items are sugar free and have no artificial ingredients. They also have a line that is dairy free called nice cream. My favorites are the sangria and strawberry nice creams and french vanilla ice cream.

Vegan. Local. Sugar free? YES PLEASE! I'm for all things dark chocolate and this is a gem of a place among the twin cities area. If you're looking to treat yourself to something sweet but still be on the healthy side, stop by for their ice cream or other chocolatey treats. Their chocolate bars are decadent and leave me feeling wonderful afterwards, since there's no sugar. When I first bit into their chocolate cream truffle I was transported to a divine chocolate place. Sooooo yummy! 🍫 😋 The owner is super sweet and even gave me a free sample.

Luv this place. Their ice cream is delicious along with other treats. The owners are friendly and informative. I will be returning many times.

Best ice cream and chocolate in the twin cities. Sugar free, all gluten free, vegan options. Owner & his wife super friendly. Contracts with several local vendors with baked goods & keto soda. Ensures their products are fresh and healthy. St paul location. Super safe & quiet part of town.
Not for dogs considering Alternative sugars are used. Try the lemon Basil vegan ice cream, I like mine with chocolate coconut & a chocolate on top!

Friendly people and an inviting atmosphere! Delicious treats and food. Now part of my top three ice cream places because they have so many dietary options available. When you walk in you feel like a part of the community.

Luv (see what I did there) this place!!!! The owner is wonderful, and the icecream is fantastic, and what? No sugar, yes, please!!! The lemon, basil, coconut was excellent.

One of our favorite local shops. Much more than just ice cream. They have a wide variety of sugar-free products, including baked goods, candies, sodas, and more. The owners are a wonderfully friendly couple, and very knowledgeable about Keto products and ingredients.

We had dishes of vanilla, and coffee ice cream! Very good! We brought some dark chocolate ice cream home, and it is so creamy and delicious! Service was excellent!!

We are in love with LUV Ice Cream Cafe!! We’ve been Keto lifestyle for over a year now and have tried making our own ice cream...epic fail...so thank goodness for LUV’s!! We all got the waffle cones...which are gluten and refined sugar free...and AMAZING! The ice cream is absolutely delicious and creamy. Bought a couple of their chocolate bars and of course already tried one (mint chocolate) and it was so darn good!! They also sell pints of their ice cream, different flavored candy bars, and the sugar substitute they use!! Forgot to take pics of our amazing cones of ice cream...we started eating and couldn’t stop!! Definitely recommend LUV’s Ice Cream Cafe.
