Savage Fen Scientific and Natural Area (SNA)

Found lots of Giant White Puffball mushrooms on today's hike. Beautiful trail through woods.

This is a little hidden gem of a park. It’s got everything. There is a river that runs very steady. The trees are thick all along the pathways. There are marsh views and forest views. All through the forest there are small paths going off into the forest. I love the feeling of exploring this park, it seems like it’s got some history too. There is an old foundation and some bricks I discovered that are clearly very old. I haven’t been during the day, just at dusk so I am sure it’s even cooler when it can be viewed with out a flash light.

My friend lives close to the Fen. This was a Campfire we had at her house.

Great place to walk dogs and get out of the house, I rarely see other people down here and the access road is a easy walk. On street parking is limited, but never crowded. Full of nature and very peaceful and secluded.

Love this place, nice quiet and lots of raw nature. No trails.

Great area for hiking and wildlife while still being close to the cities.

This is a hunting place as well please keep your dog leash.

Great area to take a nice walk.

Nature at it's finest. Something new to look at each and everyday.
